You will enjoy the beach life in this relaxing one bedroom condo which boasts spacious front and back patios which add to your enjoyment of the great Carlsbad weather. Inside enjoy a new 42-inch flat screen tv and a comfortable queen-size sofa bed. The master bedroom features a California king bed with an ultra quiet split air-conditioning unit to keep you cool and comfortable as well as a new 32-inch flat screen smart tv. French doors lead to the brick-paved patio. This ground-level condo also has a covered carport just steps away as well as a common BBQ/patio area. Beach toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs are provided for your time at the beach. Come and enjoy the beach life and the charm of Carlsbad at a location you cannot beat. We offer no contact check-in. If booking in summer, we only rent weekly - Saturday to Saturday.

Pam’s condo was adorable, clean, well-equipped, and could not have been in a better location: steps from great coffee, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and the beach. Pam warned me about the possibility of ants in the bathroom, and we did see a few – but she had laid traps out, and it really didn’t affect us that much. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

Easy to get to shopping and restaurants and 2 short blocks to the beach. We did not rent a car and the coaster station was a 10 minute walk. Good calie

The property was fine. Not our style but adequate and well supplied and located. Unfortunately it was quite cold so we were unable to enjoy the beach as much as we would have liked. The mexican and chinese restaurants that we went to were wonderful. We did enjoy our stay but would have liked it a little warmer.

Ideal location and well equipped, if staying more than 5 days there was no change of bed linen meaning that you had to launder them in one day.

The condo was just perfect for the two of us. Located walking distance to Carlsbad beach, literally steps to several delicious restaurants in the heart of Carlsbad. An expansive grassy common area welcomed on arrival and everything you would want was provided by our host, Pam, who was readily available, and made communication so simple. A super comfortable bed, everything functioned perfectly, covered sitting areas in front and another off the bedroom offered great space for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Everything was so easy and inviting, and cozy. Can't ask for more than this in the beach atmosphere we all crave.

This is our third stay at this Condo. Very happy with stay! I love that we can park our car when we get there and don’t have to get in it until it is time to leave to go back Az. Everything is so close, beach, restaurant and farmer market!

Park your car in a covered spot and no need to use it. Beach, restaurants, and shopping all within easy walking distance. Comfortable condo with two patio areas. Hard to beat.

We've always enjoyed our stays in Carlsbad and especially in Pam's VRBO. We're an active couple in our early 70's and the central location of this first floor condo is perfect.. it's just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, convience store, shopping and coaster train station. We enjoy the 'comings and goings' within the condo complex during the day...and quietness at night (albeit for the occasional train whistle and 'city sounds') . The covered parking , private patio for morning coffee and evening night cap, comfortable interior, air conditioned bedroom, the operable sliding doors and windows for light and breezes, provided beach chairs / umbrellas/ boogie boards plus onsite coin operated laundry facility..... are unique from other places we've stayed in Carlsbad. It's just different from what we are used to in Arizona. We will be back.

This is a well appointed and comfortable place to stay. It is right in the center of town, but still quiet enough to enjoy relaxing. Easy to walk anywhere in town and right across the street from the beach. Will definitely look to stay here again when visiting Carlsbad.

Great location to enjoy carlsbad village by foot. Close to beach, shopping and food. Lots of night life for my 21 year old daughter too. Condo is set in quiet courtyard and loved patio in front and parking for car. Perfect for two adults. Plan on coming to stay again.

Everything was easy from booking to arriving. The owner had great communication with great directions. This location is perfect for walking everywhere. The place is as cute as the photos and was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was great to use the beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. We had everything for a perfect day at the beach! Having our own covered parking spot was even better although we didn’t have to drive anywhere. We felt very safe in this little complex and everyone we met were very nice. My husband and I will definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you!

This property was in the perfect location. Walking distance to all that Carlsbad Village has to offer and about a block or so from the beach. The property owner was easily reachable by phone at check in when I had some difficulty with the keypad, and promptly lined up a plumber to address a clogged bathtub drain. Would absolutely stay at this property again!

Comfortable and well equipped, enjoyed the front patio and the proximity to the beach as well as the village shops and restaurants. The train station is only a few blocks away too. I have stayed at Monterrey Gage complex several times and this unit is the best one so far.

Unfortunately, the unit above ours was rented to a family. Children need room to run and jump and play. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any insulation between the 2 units. I should have also made sure we stayed on the 2nd. floor of this complex. Our unit was clean and as advertised.

The unit is great location to beach and walking to Carlsbad area. Unit is okay- could use some better lighting, new mattress. Note; Noise- you can hear everything from unit above and a train runs nearby and has to use its horn at major crossings my unit and is loud 6am to 11pm 2x per hour.
