We return to this property for the last several years. It is not fancy, but is a great family gathering property with several bedrooms, large family room, large flat yard for games, quiet neighborhood, close to town.

both the house and the location were perfect! we had 4 adults and three children and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well appointed to to cook meals and the living room was a great hangout space for everyone. We will certainly be back soon

This was our third (maybe fourth?) time staying in this house, and it won’t be the last! The location is fantastic - tucked away but with easy access to town, all within walking distance. Plenty of space and privacy for two families. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we had a minor hiccup at check-in. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful home to gather with family for Thanksgiving. Living room accommodated all adults and children and made the perfect place to spend time. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed for Thanksgiving meal. Walking to town was less than 5 minute walk. We meet in Highlands every two years and plan to make this our go to home for Thanksgiving.

I rented the two houses, one in back of another. The houses were cute and very rustic decorated. The back yard was great, very scenic. Sitting on the deck at the big house was just beautiful. ( of course we were blessed with great weather. Clear instructions for staying, checkin and checkout were helpful. We would stay again…. maybe bring the grandkids.

I rented this property and the owner’s property behind this one for our family. It worked out perfectly for us! Plenty of gathering/relaxing space and conveniently located. We didn’t cook, only made coffee, but the kitchen seemed well-furnished if you did want to cook.

We had the best time at this house! Location is convenient not only for walking to town but for driving as well as you don't have to deal with a dark, narrow, curvy mountain road. Even though very close to town the street is quiet. The house was perfect for our family which included ages 69 to 2 years of age. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Very comfortable house and I hope to stay there again. We have a family wedding in Highlands next May and sadly the house is already booked! Not sure I will find a house/location that I like as much as this one!
