'Magnolia Mermaid' exemplifies elegance and is sure to be the perfect vacation destination for you and your family INCLUDING YOUR PUP. Conveniently located between Watersound and Alys beach along Scenic Highway 30A, there is plenty to do in the area surrounding this home. 'Magnolia Mermaid' has a new, state of the art refrigerator and oven. The kitchen has gorgeous marble countertops, beautiful hardwood floors, unique furniture and other features to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Stainless steel appliances and white cabinets make the kitchen feel inviting, especially when coupled with the elegant lighting fixtures. The custom dining room table is large and with additional seating at the counter, the kitchen is sure to be a great place to enjoy eating with family and friends! The home features three full baths with tiled floors. There is a room with 2 full beds. The beautifully decorated master suite hosts a cozy king size bed. The other suite features a queen size bed. All three bedrooms, the outside patio and living room have TVs for your viewing pleasure. Relax on the large screened back porch! There is a porch swing, lounge chairs, a love seat and a gas grill, making it the perfect place to kick back on a beautiful afternoon. The home is less than a 5 min. walk to the community pool and is a 5 min. walk to the beach access across 30A. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (SLEEPS 8) • Master Suite: (1) King Bed w/ ensuite bathroom- shower/tub combo, single vanity • Second Master Suite: (1) Queen Bed w/ ensuite bathroom- shower/tub combo, single vanity • Third Bedroom: 2 Full beds w/ back porch access • 2 cars fit in driveway. No additional spots provided. House was cute and in a great location, I do however think it should be noted that to get to the beach there are 4 flights of stairs to get down to the sand. Also the pictures on the web site do need updating, the house has been well loved and some of the furnishing/ pillows need a good cleaning. The back porch is in need of a refresh along with the outside bushes and weeds need to be handled. There were 2 bird nests on the porch and briars that are coming through the screens, which need a good washing as well. Def. needs some attention to the landscaping.

Can’t ask for a better location, this unit delivers a lot in a small space. Really nothing to complain about but a couple suggestions. The listing should clearly state that beach access is directly across the street but you are not allowed to set up your personal tent/chairs on that section, you are sent further away to public area. The kitchen is in need of a few additional supplies especially cookie sheets and serving dishes. Lastly it might be time for some new pillows. All things that can be easily addressed and shouldn’t keep anyone for renting the Magnolia Mermaid!

Be prepared to rent chairs at the beach. Outside chairs are not allowed. You should reserve them prior to your trip because the front row was rented prior to our arrival 3 of the 4 days.
Steep staircase to the beach could be tough for the elderly. The walk isn’t bad.
House was tight with four adults and 3 little kids. Great neighborhood with two pools. We would go back with a smaller group.

This home was perfect for our family - myself and my husband, daughter and son-in-law, and their 20-month-old son. Beds were comfortable, two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, wonderful open floor plan and screened porch (loved the swing!) Short walk to the gorgeous beach, and we really appreciated that there was a wagon to use for moving the baby and beach equipment from the house to the beach. Visitors, be aware that there are 4 flights of steps to get down from the top of the dunes to the beach.
We look forward to staying at Magnolia Mermaid again!

This property is nicely decorated, great location, fabulous back porch, but lacks in some areas; storage for groceries. The built in pantry did not have any shelves for groceries and pantry items. Kitchen was a hodge podge of mixed silverware/eating utensils.
Low quality sheets and towels.
The key system needs to be updated to an electronic door or provide multiple keys. We had 4 adults all doing different things but only1 key.
Also the 2 guest bedrooms did not have a dresser/chest to unpack and store clothes. The cabinets in the guest rooms were full of pillows, blankets and decor but lacked space to store our clothing. The den TV was small for the space.

Lovely vacation rental
This 3br, 3 bath, spacious beach vacation home is lovely!
Less than 5 min walk from beautiful turquoise Gulf waters.
Located in Seacrest and not Panama City Beach as advertised.
Beware- Beach access does not grant you permission to use the beach - so more walking would be required to find a spot on the beach for chairs and umbrellas umbrellas.
Overall a pleasant experience..

My only complaint with the management company is that I was trying to verify the location and they kept responding with the address which states “ Panama City.”The house is in Seacrest which was perfect but I was very worried about the exact location even after googling the address and trying to confirm this via email. The stay is nonrefundable so be sure Seacrest is where you want to be. The access to pool and beach are excellent. You have beach access but then need to walk a bit to the left or right because the hotels have chairs and umbrellas for their guests. This was not a big deal but would've been nice to know ahead of time. The fridge and washing machine were brand new and we did have an issue but management took care of it right away. Directions for working the new washer may need to be posted. The mattress was not very comfortable in the master. However; overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The second day we tried the pool only to discover our pool access code did not work either. This time I called the Management Company again. A different person answered the call this time - Kellli. I explained to her the situation and her response to me was a completely shock. Instead of offering help (a.k.a. customer service) she belittled me for not downloading the App. I explained to her that I had entered the codes listed on the webpage and she again insisted I just download the App. At this point I asked to speak with her Manager who naturally wasn't available. I was absolutely applauded at the lack of Customer Service. Ultimately, Kelli did call me back with the correct codes and a new attitude. Overall, the property was great but I will probably chose an adjacent property with a different Management Company for my next trip.

Great location! Perfect location for 2 families.
Loved that the house was so close to the beach, less than a 5 minute walk. We found it easier to walk to the public beach entrance rather than entering the private entrance and walking down to the area of the beach we were allowed to enjoy.
House was clean, air conditioning worked perfect for us. Also the washer and dryer were such a nice convenience. Would stay here again.

The washer and dryer are large capacity and clean exceptionally well! The home could have been cleaned better-mold in master shower, floors made our feet black from walking barefoot. There is only enough hot water for 1-2 showers then it’s cold showers for the rest of the family. AC does not work well. House instructions say do not set below 70 degrees or it will freeze up. I kept it at 74 and could not get the temp inside the house below 78. Master bed and pillows needs to be replaced along with decent sheets that actually stay on the mattress. Bed is extremely loud when you sit in it or turn over and it’s not comfortable. The lock for the front door got stuck and we were unable to go out the front door. Called maintenance and they came and broke the lock leaving us unable to lock the door that night as we slept. The next day we had to call several times before someone was sent to repair the lock. Code provided for the pool does not work. Kitchen has broken shelves leaving little room for storage and there were poor quality pots pans etc. If you don’t like cooking at home this is the place for you! Despite these things we still enjoyed our stay here and I’m certain if the homeowner will show this place a little love it will be a 5 star rental!

Adorable and enough space for the 4 of us with ample room for at least 4 more people. Clean and decorated very nice. Close to beach and love the new wine and bottle store near the location.

Great house off a family.
Door locks didn’t work and Shelves were broken, was a busy spring break week so No one came to help. All in all a great experience, love the porch and the short walk to the beach

House was filthy! This is just unconscionable since we are in the middle of COVID! We cleaned as much as we could on our own! There is very little space in the kitchen for storage. Not well equipped. There were no extra sheets, pillowcases etc. for extra pillows that were there. There were no top sheets on the bunks! Hardwood floors were filthy...and no mop to clean them! The exorbitant cleaning fee is ridiculous! I’m writing to the owner of sand dollar for a refund! I don’t go on vacation to come to a house and then have to clean it!! It is just wrong to charge this amount for a crappy cleaning job. The parking is inadequate if you have people driving from other states. They could not answer me when they were asked where else we could park! There are 61 stairs down to the beach! For seniors and families with small children this would not be the place to rent.! The Sand Dollar rental people were rude! Bed linens like coverlets, etc. were NOT clean. Sofa leg was missing! This IS NOT a well maintained, clean house. I would not recommend this Company or home to anyone! My granddaughter left her earbuds and they were rude when we called about them. Said they would get back to us in two days. They had to check with the cleaning people....

Great winter break get away
Coldest week in Florida but the best beach house ever. The back porch was amazing and we spent most of our time there in the bed swing and outdoor tv. Great house, very nice amenities, great location, easy walk to the beach. The house had everything and anything you could need.

This was the greatest home for a kid free getaway. (Kids would love this place) comfortably could sleep 8.So cozy and cute. Everything we needed. You will need to get coffee and filters. There was salt, pepper, soap shampoo etc. For a few days. Close to beach, the hub and all restaurants. Easy in and out. Would definitely stay here again!! Porch was so cute!!
