About this condo rental
Nestled in Wailea, this charming condo for $596 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our condo (Hale Kamaole #201) is located in one of South Maui's most popular resorts Hale Kamaole and has unobstructed views to the beach and Pacific Ocean. No looking over rooftops, between buildings, or through trees which is why we call it the 'Best View on Maui'! Our condo is our home away from home and has been completely remodeled. We are located on the second floor (stair access only) with no one above you. It is a large open air conditioned , 2 level 1277 sqft (119 sqm) unit and can comfortably sleep up to six. It is fully equipped to ensure your stay is relaxing, enjoyable, and a great value. It has a full kitchen, washer & dryer, 2 bedrooms both with king beds (one upstairs and one down), 2 baths and a separate loft area with two twin beds (can be made into a king). TVs in living and bedrooms. Free wireless internet and free long distance calling to the US mainland and Canada. If you enjoy the beach it is only a 30 second walk away! No need to drive your car and search for a parking spot. Just grab the keikis (kids), your towel, a good book, and walk across the street to one of Maui's nicest beaches and parks Kamaole III. We have boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkels, masks, fins, and other beach items for your use. Our location is a five minute walk to popular restaurants, bars, and shops. The boat ramp is a 5 minute walk too. Many of the popular aquatic attractions leave from here including the famous Molokini Crater snorkeling trip, scuba diving, kayaking, and other activities. This location was perfect as we had activities all over the island. The space was perfect for our 2 couples and one child. Beds super comfy, laundry in condo, kitchen fully equipped. But the best part was the gorgeous view! We could not be happier with our stay.

The location was everything for our family. We had the best views, shops, restaurants and beach access. It worked for our family ranging from ages 1years old, teens and the adults. The host also provided everything we needed for a perfect beach day. We are so thankful for all this home provided and the great memories made. Plan to visit again!!!

Michael's condo was fantastic! The views are incredible, we could easily see whales throughout the day from every window and the lanai. Being right across the street from the beach and park was also great. We walked a few minutes farther to Kam 2 as it is a bit bigger beach and it had the best boogie boarding! I loved that the condo was so close to Wailea also and the shops and restaurants there. The condo itself was also great. Super clean, well updated and decorated. It was spacious and well-stocked. The only thing for folks to know is that there is some road noise. The condo enjoys the unobstructed views in part because it is right on the road. It did not bother us but for those sensitive to noise it could be a problem. Overall, I would stay here again. Michael was communicative and everything was perfect!

We saw whales from the lanai and watched the sun set every night. Close enough to shops and beaches are just across the street. My teens had enough space and didn’t want to leave :) We hope to be back!

Highly recommend! The condo had everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and it’s a great location. The layout was perfect for two couples with plenty of extra room. We didn’t even use the loft area! Everything was perfect.

Maui with a view
We really enjoy our stay at this condo. It had a clear view of the ocean so we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset off of our balcony. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It truly is home away from home. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We will stay again in the future and will referral friend and family to this condo.

Great time
Overall it was great! Awesome location and a lot of fun. Only concern was the AC. It would get pretty toasty in the late afternoon. I believe all the units in Hale have the same system, so not a whole lot you can do without changin out the entire HVAC system.
We would rent the unit again for sure!

The owner, Michael, was very accessible.

We are a family of 5 (three kids aged 18, 16, 12). We loved the location of the property: literally walk across the street to beaches, and lots of restaurant options within 10 mins of drive. The rental is spacious, clean, bright, and we really appreciate the view from this corner unit! We had a great time.

Michael was extremely easy to work with and very thorough. The property exceeded our expectations.
It truly is the best view on Maui. It was wonderful to explore the island early in the morning throughout the afternoon. Each day we arrived back with our dinners that we picked up to go and sat on the lanai to watch the amazing sunset. There are no words to describe how perfect this location is.
Parking was easy. We loved watching the traffic (boats, beach lovers, etc.) As we enjoyed our morning coffee and dinner. The grounds were extremely clean, birds were beautiful and loved listening to their songs.
Early morning Yoga/meditation was dreamy across the street. I could see lots of turtles from the rocks. In between the kam III cove and just before the boat dock has beautiful snorkeling.
We had no issues with bugs or ants as we kept all food in refrigerator or freezer. There was however a few geckos that would watch the sunset on the lanai with us at night.
AC in bedrooms worked great for sleeping. And it remained cool during the day with Tradewinds.
We have no complaints at all!
**** This is of no fault to the property owner. *** I gave 5 stars for office because I didn't want to effect the condo rating. But the office staff was not even a 1 star. The office staff was NOT friendly. Would not go talk to them if I didn't absolutely have to get the parking pass.. They clearly did not want to be there and it was the only low point during our entire vacation.

Each bedroom has AC which was lovely, especially at night. The kitchen was well stocked for all our needs (pots, pans, and even a rice cooker.) As for beach fun, the lanai closet was stocked with snorkeling gear for all of us, plus 4 boogie boards, and beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, and sand toys. Perfect for our kids!

Thank you to The Best View on Maui! We had a wonderful stay and the views of the sunsets were amazing! We comfortably slept 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as we had some pretty warm weather in the upper 80s. Not a criticism but as an FYI, if you have a larger group and need to do laundry then pick up some laundry detergent and plan on doing multiple small loads. Otherwise, you will have all the comforts of home and everything you need for the beach! We had to pick up a few beach towels because the ones at the condo were too small for our teens, but we were grateful for the beach chairs and umbrellas! Also, the owners were very flexible with us during the schedule changes needed due to COVID. We would definitely stay here again!

Want something spectacular?
We've visited Maui over a dozen times now and have stayed all over the island. This particular rental had it all-- views, accommodations, and cleanliness. It easily fit 3 adults and 2 teenagers and could fit 6 adults if need be. Having two full bathrooms as well as two spacious bedrooms was a godsend.

The property is beautiful but due to us being there during the Coronavirus we couldn’t fully enjoy it and the area. Everything was closed or closing it’s doors. Micheal was very understanding in this very stressful time in that we needed to leave early and get back to Canada. Hopefully we will get to go back again and fully enjoy this property and area with our family.

Lovely view and great location
Everything was as described. Our kids loved the stocked cupbaord and we appreciated the lawn chairs, beach towels and kitchen essentials. The bedding was nice and the layout was perfect for our family. We loved the conch blowing right outside of our balcony at sundown. The access to the beaches was hard to beat! We enjoyed our out of the sun time while still taking in the great view from the dining room window. The inclusion of laundry soap, dryers sheets, dish soap and essential kitchen spices and cookware was so great. We would recommend this lovely property with tasteful decor and excellent location to any of our friends. Street noise didn't bother us.

Is this heaven?
We enjoyed our stay here. The location is within easy walking distance to the ocean and many beach items are provided. Our family loved to snorkel and see the colorful and interestingly shaped fish. A Sea Turtle even stopped to say hello. The windows provide million dollar views and you can see Molokini from the condo as well. Wow. That's all I can say.
