Situated in Hermitage, this charming cabin for $537 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to Rural Hill Farm Lodging & Event Center! We offer quaint, comfortable lodging in a beautiful and serene environment. We have 5 rustic cabins on the property & 17 full-hookup RV Sites (NEW Feb. 2023) located behind the cabins. Cabins 1-3 each sleep up to 4 guests, the Redwood Chalet sleeps up to 4 and the Main House sleeps 8-12 for a total of up to 28 guests! Not pictured is a bunkhouse in one of our large event pavilions that sleeps up to 6 for a total of up to 34 guests. Our large, secluded property is perfect for hosting weddings, family reunions, corporate events, church retreats or just a quiet getaway to catch your breath. Located in Mt. Juliet, TN yet close and convenient to Nashville and surrounding areas. The property consists of over 180 acres of beautiful scenery and landscape including a 2+ acre pond, fire-pits, park type grills, and picnic tables available for use. All lodging is equipped with many amenities: flat screen TV with DirecTV channels, refrigerator, microwave, two burner hot plate, toaster oven, coffee pot, iron/board, hairdryer, linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available. Each unit has a deck with patio set overseeing the pond area, perfect for relaxing and nature watching. The Main House is a large, gorgeous cabin with multiple sleeping areas, complete full size kitchen, fireplace in large living room with high ceilings and large wrap around deck. The sleeping areas consist of a queen murphy bed and full size newly added bedroom downstairs. Upstairs there are two private bedrooms, the first features a twin size bed and the second is the master bedroom which features a king bed and twin bed and large private bathroom featuring a glassed in shower and beautiful clawfoot tub. Two air mattresses are also available for use. Downstairs there is one full bathroom. Both bathrooms are stocked with linens. The large picture windows and sliding glass doors in the living room open to the view of the pond and beautiful landscape. Check in is after 3:00 pm and check out is by 11:00 am. Early check in/late check-out may be available with advance request. You will receive a message with your confirmation, directions, lodging assignment and personal key code to the lock box outside your door prior to your stay. Use this code to retrieve your door key. At check out, just place the key back in the lock box. Cabin is available to rent weekly/monthly. Contact the property manager for rates, availability or to inquire about hosting an event at the farm. Event Disclaimer: We welcome weddings/events here at Rural Hill Farm (event pavilions are rented separately from the cabins - inquire within about hosting an event during your stay)! Please be advised that the cabins are located about 150 yards from our Event Center. All music/noise must be turned down by 10 PM according to a county noise ordinance and all events must end by 11 PM. We notify both cabin guests and event guests if there is an overlap during the stay dates. Construction Disclaimer: We are a working farm, which means from time to time we have farm/construction projects going on so you may hear heavy machinery being operated and/or see our team working. While infrequent, these improvements are necessary to offer the best experience to our guests! UPDATED MARCH 1, 2023: We are currently in the process of building another cabin! It is located directly behind and downhill from our Cozy Cabins. We anticipate that it will be completed by the end of May '23. In the meantime, you may see and hear our team out working on this project during the day. We can't wait to open reservations for our fully ADA accessible 'Lower Cabin' soon! We so enjoyed our stay. It was an absolute wonderful weekend. The only issues: needs a new fridge (doesn’t close tightly and not very cold. Also multiple outlets did not work. Other than that it was awesome

We loved it here! It was such a beautiful property! Uber sometimes struggled to find the property and refused to go down the long driveway, the property is about 35 min from downtown Nashville. Thanks for a great stay!

Extreme cold weather dampened our experience considerably. This is out of the property owner’s control entirely and I understand that. However, heating was a serious issue and was taken lightly by owner. It starts with property being heated by a heat pump system which does not work well when temperatures reach zero. Emergency heat settings did not work on system. Owner had the nerve to tell me that emergency heat settings were not intended to provide extra heat when extreme conditions exist. He did provide on space heater to help. Property was fairly clean, not what I would consider acceptable. Kitchen was well equipped but very disorganized and dishes, cups, glasses, pots, and pans were obviously not very clean. Needed to wash everything we used. Check out guidelines were a little more than I expected. Wash and put away all dirty dishes. Clean countertops. Take out all trash and put in dumpster which was not close to the house. I am charged a large cleaning fee(which I find unacceptable to begin with) and then I am required to take these extra steps. Not a property I would use again nor would I recommend it.

The home/property was terrific. Went down for a bachelor trip and was plenty room. Emily was great at getting back with me. The deck lights weren’t working, I sent them a text, and they came out to fix the very next day. I highly recommend checking this place out! It’s hard to notice in the images, but there are other cottages close to the main A frame. Be sure to ask if there are events going on when you decide to make a reservation! Not that is was a problem, but there was a lot of traffic when we stayed for the weekend.

Rented for a 7 person bachelor party and had plenty of room for everyone. View from the front of the porch was amazing. Only problem was the porch lights not working when we grilled at night. Driveway was long and bumpy but worth it to be away from everyone and have space for the group to have fun.

My friends and I stayed here for a bachelor party and everyone loved it. It was far enough outside Nashville where you got the peace and quiet of the country, but then a quick 20 minute drive and you are downtown Nashville. The management was great to work with and quickly responded to emails. Highly recommend staying here!

The outside property was beautiful. However, we didn’t realize the wedding party was going to be so close to the cabin and the parking of wedding guest were 15 ft from the cabin’s front porch and wrapped around the cabin. Loud rap music was played all evening and I could here it through the house. We were hoping for a quiet getaway but unfortunately we didn’t get it on the first night we stayed. I would definitely check if there are any parties during your stay.

We absolutely loved this place, worked great for our party of 9 fully grown adults. We loved the fire pit by the cabin and spent plenty of time hanging out at the property. Very close to downtown, so we were still able to have a night out late on the town. Thank you guys for listing the place, it was awesome!

We did a pre-Christmas at this cabin and met our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter along with my wife, and mother. Our daughter called it our "cabin Christmas". It has great character and was tucked back from the road so we saw a lot of wildlife including the usual squirrels but lots of dear and even wild turkey. The cabin is well appointed and stocked with equipment to make any gathering/getaway awesome. The owner communicated very well and answered all questions we had very promptly. I would highly recommend this property.
