Phoenix West 2503 Keyless entry door lock so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay!! Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the unit. With over 1,950 sq ft the unit is very spacious and newly furnished. Amenities are abundant at this newly renovated Phoenix West condo: the unit is appointed with full-size appliances, wet bar with ice maker, 65” flat screen SMART HDTV in living room with 42” TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a king sized bed in the master, two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom and a queen bed in the 3rd bedroom. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room should you need more space. We also have the 3br condos on both sides of this room should you need more than one room. There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 4 saunas and roof-top tennis courts. There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation. Your vacation will be complete at Phoenix West with all of the amenities, the beach and luxurious accommodations. Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $55 per vehicle. This was our second time staying at Phoenix West, and we are very happy with how large the condos are. Big enough for myself, my wife, 2 kids, and my parents. This one in particular is furnished very nicely. No complaints at all with this condo. For a big family, the price is absolutely more than fair. It has such a beautiful view to look out of the balcony at any time of the day. There are so many great restaurants and things to do within a short drive from this condo. The weather was a little colder than we hoped for, but it didn’t stop us from going to the beach every day. When we would get too cold, we went to the pool and hot tub inside. We will definitely stay here again. A++++

Kids loved the pool, and the slide, and the lazy River. Right on the Beach. Patience for the elevator is a must at check in. Takes some time to get settled . Internet and phone calls are sporadic at times. Especially night time hours. Overall we loved the place. And kids not on a cell phone was nice. Played lots of board games and could swim till 11. Get to the Beach early to secure a nice spot. Seemed like a daily competition to get the canopy up. Like 6:30 or 7am.

We were a little nervous about the 25th floor, but it was truly incredible to watch the sea life from our balcony. We loved the size of the balcony and the furniture out there as well. On the 4th of July we saw fireworks down the coast into FL as well as Gulf Shores from our balcony seats. Wonderfully stocked kitchen! Ice maker fridge was an unexpected added bonus. There was a broken dining room chair and we put it aside. Everyone had a fantastic time!

We loved the lazy river, water slide, outdoor/indoor pools, and hot tubs! The property was clean and beautiful. We loved our condo. Pictures are accurate. The view from the 25th floor was breathtaking. The condo's kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and varies pots, pan etc. The dryer was not working well and it was repaired during on stay. Appreciated that the property manager was on top of that. The only negative about the property was the elevator wait time. When the pools were closed due to lighting or during check in/out, the wait for an elevator could be 30 minutes. Beach chairs and umbrellas were not provided by the condo. There was a rental service on the beach or you could bring your own. Overall we had a great time and would love to return.

PROS:
- The view: the views from the balcony were amazing.
- The facility: lazy river and pools were nice, although if there is lightning within 10mi all pools are shut down, including the indoor pool. The parking garage was nice, especially for those of us with larger vehicles. Parking was easy.
- Room Amenities: icemaker at the wet bar was a huge plus; plenty of kitchen items for preparing meals; very spacious condo and balcony; board games and books in the room for use during downtime.
- Layout: the layout was perfect for our family of five.
- Location: close to grocery, shopping, and amazing restaurants. Wolf Bay across the street was our favorite.
CONS:
-Cleanliness: The cleaning person does the bare minimum. The place wasn’t as clean as it should be. Clean towels/washcloths had hair on them, most of the dishes I re-washed before using them, and floors may have been swept, but I’m not sure they’ve seen a mop in months. With such an amazing view and a large wall of windows, the windows could use some cleaning.
-Mold: There was mold in multiple places, especially in the master bathroom shower.
-Condo was sufficient but had to purchase many starter items typically supplied by other owners, such as trash bags, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent.
- Wi-Fi: worst ever.
- Washer/Dryer: dryer takes an entire day of repetitive use on high to dry a normal size load.

While our overall stay was great, the cleanliness of the condo was not the best. There was a bloody bandaid in one of the rooms, bottles of full and empty drinks under the beds, and other trash in places that should be cleaned between each stay.
The condo itself is really nice, with a great view.
I will also say, it needs better WiFi, because there is zero service and the WiFi was really weak.

Great location with the most beautiful views from the balcony. We spent most of our time on the balcony, drinking coffee or beer. We watched sharks swim around stingrays flapping and dolphins playing. So high up the pelicans would fly under us! Great location to the beach.

Great condo in great location. Our only suggestion is to clean better under and behind furniture, beds etc. Those areas didn’t appear to have been cleaned in quite a while and had some nasty stuff under and behind things. Would definitely come back to this condo though.

We enjoyed another family Spring Break in OBA. We've stayed in several Phoenix properties in previous years. If we go again, we will probably book at Phoenix West II again. Condo was sufficient, but had to purchase many items typically supplied by other owners. I.e., Salt and pepper, cooking spray, foil, seasonings, hand soap, vegetable oil, etc. With 6 people, we could have used some extra towels as well during the week. There was ongoing construction the week we rented, so unfortunately, no one slept in past 7AM. Still a great week, but a few other things could have made the stay more enjoyable.

The condo is spacious and nicely decorated but appliances need replacing. The dishwasher doesn’t dry the dishes. They came out dripping wet even after sitting overnight. I don’t trust the dryer. It takes 3 full cycles to dry towels. I’m not sure what the washer does because it sounds old and tired. Jacuzzi jets do Not work in the master bathroom. The windows over looking the beach have a great view but the windows are filthy. Over all the whole place needs a good cleaning. Very dusty and dirty. I think the owner needs to visit more often and give it a good cleaning. Other than that, the complex is very nice and the beach is steps away. We loved our stay but I always felt the need to clean.

Rugs were dirty. Towels were no longer white. Master bed had bedding which did not cover bed frame making it look half put together. Stay here before and everything was good. Just really run down in the condo.
The complex was clean and good.
Only complaint about complex was they were jackhammering the tile above us for hours during the day and it was unnerving.

I wanted to say thank you for the stay at the Phoenix West! Our unit was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay! I did have two issues that should be addressed:1. Our booking stated that the indoor pool was heated and it was in fact not heated and was freezing to the point that we couldn’t get in. This was very misleading as the front desk told us none of their indoor pools are heated. 2. Phoenix Properties needs to find a better emergency action plan to enforce, as there were two emergency situations that occurred during our stay and they were both an absolute cluster, especially when staying on the 25th floor. The emergency system went off for a missing child and no one was aware of the emergency and people were evacuating their rooms. The second time, the fire department arrived for a potential fire on a lower floor. There was no emergency notification to upper floors accept the hallways reacted as if there was a fire by closing the elevator vestibule access doors and you could hear a slight siren in the hallways from a lower floor. In the event of a fire, the elevators can not be used and to force people the fear of having to go down 25 flights of stairs without even knowing what is going on, is absolutely ridiculous, especially with small children and elderly people. The company should invest in an emergency system notification for emergencies that don’t include, evacuating the building, such as a missing child. Please do better.

Overall this is a great location, but whoever is getting paid to come in and clean does the minimum. Our feet were black on the bottom from the lack of mopping within seconds of taking our shoes off. Other than that easy fix, we loved it! It was equipped with more kitchen tools than most which made cooking an easy task. Great location, easy check in process, communication was great, and the listing was very accurate. Would stay there again in the future!

The condo was clean and in a good location. We overall enjoyed our stay however communication with property management was NON existent. I tried several times to send messages through VRBO messaging with no reply. I finally had to call VRBO when they gave me a number to property management. Once I got someone on the phone I was told they do not use VRBO messaging to communicate. I thought this was absorbed since I am paying for all VRBO fees to go through their booking service I should be able to communicate through it as well. I was told from property management I most communicate through email and a number they will be texting me from.
Once down there we ended up having a leak under the kitchen sink and maintenance came up saying it was causing issues with the unit below us. We ended up having to cut the water supply off and could not use the sink until the following day. The maintenance guys also said he wasn't sure who took care of that for our unit. I tried to contact the property management to notify them of what was going on and to find out when maintenance would be in our condo to fix it. I called the number given to me and left a message. I also sent a text and got no response from property management.
All in all we had a great trip but if I was the owner of this condo I would look into who is responsible for getting back to guest who book through VRBO.

The condo was beautifully decorated, and comfy beds. Great view from the 25th floor. Plenty of room for all of us even with two babies. The only drawback was a refrigerator that was leaking when we arrived and co tinier to leak on the floor a lot. Told the owner, and a maintenance man came by. He however really had no idea on the problem because it kept happening and he thought the problem was because the ice maker was freezing up…not the problem. . Also water leaked out of the ceiling exhaust fan in the master bathroom and from the bottom of the toilet. We did love the beautiful area, but not the mess.

The complex itself was great and the kids really enjoyed the lazy river. The condo was very nicely decorated and very spacious but needs some general maintenance work. My in laws shared the 2 queen bedroom and one bed was so loud due to a broken box spring that they ended up spending the week on the couch bed. One of the bathroom drains was clogged and thankfully my husband was able to fix it. The master bath shower had mold all around the door so I bought spray bleach at the store to clean it. In the kitchen the wet bar sink was clogged and the fridge would randomly leak and get the whole kitchen floor wet. Im pretty sure the agitator in the washer is broken so clothes don’t come very clean. I addressed most of these issues with the management company and the only thing taken care of was a burnt out lightbulb the first day so that was very disappointing. I know all condo rentals are stocked different but in this one be prepared to supply your own seasonings/cooking oils and all paper goods, the condo is not stocked with much. On the positive side the beds were comfortable, ac worked great and the ice machine was a plus.

Would stay again
We stayed in June, which we NEVER go to beach during summer months. The condo was as it states. Great location. Lazy river and walk-in pool was the best. Short walk to beach. Furnishings were suffice. Overall we would stay again. Things I didn’t like. During this time of year you are practically laying on top of each other on beach and pool area. We walked down the beach just a bit to try and get where it wasn’t so crowded. The last night my granddaughter wanted to try out the jet tub, it didn’t work, but we also didn’t give them time to address it because we were checking out next morning. Their pots and pans were cheap. Like dollar store cheap except maybe 1. But to their defense, 98% of condos skimp on the pots and pans and go for a high dollar Kerig when that money could be spent on better pots and pans. All the dishes BUT the plates and glasses were just placed anywhere with no rule or reason. I wound up putting all the utensils we used in one drawer so I would know where they were and didn’t have to look. But again, most condos are like that. Going this time of year, the elevator was slow because of all the ppl. But over-all none of these things would prevent me from staying here again.

Condo was perfect! Plenty of room and lots of extras. Elevator wait was never a problem and plenty of parking at any time. Pools were amazing and lots of fun. The views from the 25th floor were great too. Looking forward to coming back next year.

This was THE MOST AMAZING place we've ever stayed. 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms made everyone feel comfortable and we had plenty of room. The pools were incredible & the beach was super clean. Can't wait to come back next year!

- Sheets: the sheets are a low-grade polyester/cotton blend. If we went again, we'd bring more comfortable sheets.

- Toilet Paper and Trash Bags: Each bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper. And, there were only two trash bags. You will likely run out of these things, so bring extra.
Overall, beautiful view, a great layout, a bit of mold, and a fun week.

Great location. 25th floor let’s you see so much, especially sunrise and sunset from the roomy balcony. Plenty of room for all 4 of us needing separate beds with 4 regular beds in the 3 bedrooms. Just make sure to bring your own paper towels, dishwasher soap, toilet paper etc, as you only get 1. Very nice trip, would definitely stay here again!

Get away with friends
Great location. 25th floor let’s you see so much, especially sunrise and sunset from the roomy balcony. Plenty of room for all 4 of us needing separate beds with 4 regular beds in the 3 bedrooms. The only issue I had is that when we entered the unit it smelled musty. Like the cleaning company mopped with dirty water. Also there were no steak knives so if you plan to grill steaks bring you own steak knives. Other than that this is a beautifully decorated, spacious condo.
