Cute place, hadn't been cleaned upon our arrival. Contacted host and they arranged for cleaning. Doors and windows did not work properly, ceiling fans were noisy, bedding smelled musty, towels felt damp, and the smoke detector went off at 2:30 AM.

Nothing fancy but very comfortable and thoughtfully done. The bed was wonderful! Loved being able to walk to the beach with supplied beach chairs. Would return.

All was as advertised and very enjoyable. Owner committed to replacing aging oven and fridge after we raised it. Everything is in working order albeit entrance door and some windows are probably also ripe for repair or replacement.

The home was perfect for what we needed for our two night stay in Hana. The home was clean and comfortable. Little amenities available for guests (body boards, beach chairs, etc) were really a nice touch. Owners were incredibly responsive— much appreciated. Would absolutely stay again.

We flew in from NYC the day we arrived to the property. Upon arrival in the late evening, property was unclean. Sheets and blankets were disheveled and not washed. Used towels remained in the bathroom. Trash can in the kitchen was not emptied. Neither hosts responded to numerous phone calls of mine. Their responses through text were delayed. They stated there was a mixup with the cleaning schedule, which is not an excuse to not notify the guests and to not clean the property.
The bed outside the bedroom is right near a gigantic window that opens to the porch which was not displayed on any of the images on the property home page. There were no curtains either.

A good, clean, one bedroom place to stay in Hana, with a second bed in the sitting area. The bay and ocean is within walking distance. The bathroom has been updated.

This was our first trip to Maui and we were here to celebrate.oir 40th wedding anniversary. Wanting to see as.much as we could we decided that a stay in Hana would make sense and allow some time to rest rather than trying to fit everything into one road trip. We made the right choice. The house was centrally.located.in Hana and had everything we required. Very clean and comfortable for a couple or a small family. We are not sure when we will be back but we would definitely stay here again. Mahola!

We were so thankful that we didn't have to turn around and drive the road to Hana back the same day. We loved sleeping with the windows open. The kids loved the ping pong table.

We ended our long day after an exciting day on the road to Hana. We were to exhausted to enjoy any amenities like the ping pong table. The bed was extremely comfortable!! Hopefully, next time we can stay longer!!

Had an Awesome time in Hana !!! It was nice not having to Rush back, in the Dark, to our cruise ship. The location is perfect and near everything you need. Would definitely recommend Fishers Hana Bay Hale to anyone looking to stay in Hana !!!! Thanks Again for opening your home !!!!

My family really enjoyed this property in Hana! It was a great property in the heart of Hana, and adequately suited our needs for 2 nights. Our only mishap was that I thought the property was partially air conditioned, but there wasn't any on site. It was quite warm at night but there were several fans which helped. My mother (in her 60's) wasn't very comfortable but we made it work.
The property grounds were beautiful, and the ping pong table was a nice bonus. I'd recommend this spot in Hana :)

Helpful and communicative host. Provided sufficient information beforehand for us to prepare well. Thanks!

This was a great place to stay in Hana. Location is central. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was exactly as pictured on the listing. No unwelcome
surprises. Everything was very comfortable. Would happily book here again. There’s no air conditioning so be prepared for it to be warm in the house. But fans were provided which helped a lot.

The house is accurately described. Very clean and comfortable. The lack of AC was not a problem as the air movement was very good from the many windows, sliding doors and fans. It was perfect for an overnight stay in Hana that allowed us to visit the area leisurely.

Great spot to break up the Hana Hwy drive. Lots of space for a one bedroom. Plenty of amenities.

Great location for accessing south shore. Loved out stay. Main floor great advantage

Just what we wanted to see the east of the island and not have to rush back. So much to see and do on the road to Hana so helped make this more memorable. Lovely to chat with the housekeeper, plenty of Aloha spirit and genuine welcome, gave us some great tips! Listing is accurate reflection of the property.

It was wonderful to have a place to relax in after the drive to Hana before we returned home to our timeshare.

Great property with lots of amenities, but no air conditioning, so do not plan on being inside the house in the afternoons.

Everything was exactly as expected. Thank you for a lovely getaway.
My only critique would be darker bedroom curtains for sleeping in. 😊

Great cozy spot in Hana amongst a tropical rainforest. The sound of birds chirping and the lush greenery was peaceful and relaxing. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a well-stocked space and felt very homey.
Note that you have to take the stairs to the 2nd floor, so be careful with heavy luggage! And as there is no AC, it can get very hot/humid in the house - especially being on the 2nd floor. Running all the fans helped, but it was a little hard to sleep.

Just as described, very clean, convenient and relaxing. We happened to be there during a hot spell so it was a bit uncomfortable without AC, otherwise all was good.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and comfortable.

Lovely little place right at the center of Hana. We stayed two nights. Space was clean and well stocked. This was a great launching point for visiting beaches and the National park!

This spot was so beautiful and the house is crafted with a refreshingly unique and fun layout. We decided to stay in Hana one night to spread out our trip to this side of the island and that was definitely the way to do it rather than a day trip. Even two nights would have been nice. Hana is a sleepy town but there is still so much to see and do on this side of the island. Our host was helpful as well.

We would absolutely recommend this stay to friends and family looking for a true remote and off-the-grid experience in the small but wildly adventurous town of Hana. We adored the property inside and out. It was spacious and quaint at the same time. With no AC, it forced beautiful natural lighting and soothing noises of the crashing waves from the ocean nearby and the beautiful singsongs of birds into our experience. Having to keep the windows open for airflow allowed a few little lizards on the ceiling of the home (to be expected in a desolate forest location of Hawaii) and although it felt exposed and unsecured with open doors/windows, it did not feel unsafe.

We’ve stayed here 2 years in a row and enjoyed every minute of it!

The house was pleasant enough for the family to have a place to lay our heads on our Road to Hana trek. We really just wanted a place in/near Hana that provided us a kitchen and a midway stopping place. We really enjoyed the Road to Hana and it was a highlight of our trip. What we didn't like about this stay, was the tenant downstairs seemed to be a chain smoker who light up every hour and the second hand smoke came straight up through our open windows. Without air conditioning, we really had no choice but to have the windows open. So with two asthmatics in my family, we had a hard time breathing, so we had to check out early. I highly recommend the hike to the Red Sand Beach and we would have done the Black Sand Beach, but a reservation was required and they close early (6pm). The sunrise view from the front balcony was pleasant, although just peek a boo views of the ocean.

It was perfect for our group, walking distance from Hana, large enough for 4 adults, lots of books and games. The ping pong table was a plus

This island rental is modest. It's the 2nd floor unit above another rental with a separate entrance. It's very clean. It has one bedroom with one bath. There is however a double bed right next to a sliding door leading to the screened porch that locks but no secondary lock available. There is no A/C; therefore the 2nd floor door and all of the windows (screened in) accessible on the balcony are necessarily open. (We did close the door however.) The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The TV is small with poor reception, not really enjoyable. I appreciate having a clean place to rest but it's modest and anticipate "island living".

We stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed the relaxing feel of this cottage. It was again a great way to end our stay in Maui.

Very well stocked for supplies no air conditioning but with the ocean breezes it was perfect. Easy entrance to property. Place a bit dated but for the area it was great.
