Nestled in Kitty Hawk, this attractive cottage for $432 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Lemonade Cottage is a classic 1935 oceanfront beach bungalow that has been lovingly saved and restored to her original beauty. You MUST see to appreciate. The beach and ocean are literally in your back yard . . . just walk down the porch steps and you're there. You don't get any closer than this!! Lemonade cottage features an open living area with high vaulted ceiling, true tongue-and-groove paneling, rustic hardwood floors, lots of natural light, and panoramic ocean views from covered and uncovered porches and decks. The living room featuring comfy seating, a large flat screen TV and ceiling fan are there when you're ready for a break from your backyard beach. Adjoining the living area is the dining room with an antique dining table, church pew seating, and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the dolphins play in the surf and the sun rise on the Atlantic . . . you'll never want to get out of your PJ's. The well equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher . . . and just about everything you need to prepare your "fresh catch" and entertain. Extending the living area is a huge wrap-around covered porch for when you're in need of shade . . . or oceanfront sundeck when you want to catch some rays. Enjoy evening cocktails sitting in an Adirondack overlooking the ocean. Ahhhh! Lemonade cottage offers three bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably (4 adults, 2 kids) with two oceanfront queen bedrooms plus a twin bunk room. Don't let the one bathroom concern you as you'll want to take all your showers outdoors in the private, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. The cottage also features a large laundry room with washer, dryer, extra storage area and has central air conditioning. Lemonade is situated in Kitty Hawk within a short drive to many local restaurants, shopping and attractions and walking distance to Ocean Boulevard Bistro & Martini Bar and Art's Place (a true "diner & dive" known for the best burger on the beach!). Enjoy spectacular shelling, surf fishing, sun bathing, surfing, swimming, kayaking, biking . . . and so much more. Your family will remember the memories you make at Lemonade for generations to come! * Please note you must be 27 years old to rent this cottage. * Cottage accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. * Linens are not included. Therefore, you will need to bring sheets and pillow cases (2 queen, and 2 single beds). All of the beds have quilts and pillows. You will also need to bring bath, hand, wash, dish and beach towels. HOWEVER, if you do not wish to bring your own there are several companies that rent linens and will deliver and pick them up directly to and from the cottage. *This is a NON-SMOKING cottage. * Up to 2 pets are considered. Must be fully house trained. No puppies under a year. Please provide breed, sex and age when requesting to book.

What an amazing Thanksgiving week at Lemonade Cottage! We love coming back each year to relax with the ocean in our backyard. We had many dolphin sightings and made it to Pea Island to see thousands of Swans and White Pelicans! Our trip to the Elizabethan Gardens Christmas lights was magical! Kim and Mark are the best hosts and the recent renovations on the house are amazing! Thanks for a great week! We'll be back next year!

This is such a cozy warm cottage. We have stayed at Lemonade Cottage several times. It is very clean and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We saw so many dolphins! The hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely come again!

We hope heaven will be as comfortable and convenient as Lemonade Cottage...its 1930's charm has been retained but modern adaptations to the bathroom and kitchen provide state-of-the-art efficiency. Best of all is the view -- suddenly your life is guided by the tide table and the weather forecast. This is the best cottage at OBX we've Ever stayed in, and we've been vacationing there for 50+ years.

Cozy, comfortable and sweet cottage just steps from the beach and ocean! Two of the bedrooms directly overlook ocean. There is a well equipped kitchen and a delightful wrap around porch! My family loved our stay at Lemonade Cottage!

Beautifully restored cottage with all modern amenities. Owners thought of everything. They were quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our arrival. And kept us informed about the arrival of Tropical storm Ophelia. Thoroughly enjoyed our week. Looking forward to renting again.

A great place to rest and relax and enjoy sunrises and long walks on the beach. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the adults or our GSP, Grace! The cottage met all our expectations and the owners made us feel at home. Thanks for a much needed vacation!

The beach is literally your backyard in this cottage. Two decks:one covered and one not, so you can move in and out of the sun. Very nicely decorated in vintage beach cottage style. Close to restaurants. A perfect location.

This is an amazing location and and awesome home to stay in. The owners go way above and beyond for the people they rent to. I could not ever ask for a better vacation. Nice bunk room for 2 kids though. The 2 other bed rooms are pretty small but I thought if there were some wall shelves that would help with all the stuff us girls like to bring on vacation. It worked though.No other houses to block your view of the beautiful ocean was great sitting on the newly built wrap around deck . The deck has complete shade if you prefer and the very front deck facing the ocean has all sun. Highly recommended.

Been coming to Kitty Hawk over 30 years, first time beachfront. Absolutely perfect, everything we needed was there and new deck was incredible. Kim and Mark were excellent hosts and made sure everything was right for us, and that we felt like valuable and welcome guests.

Loved every minute of our stay! Nothing beats the beach as your backyard, yet close enough for walking distance to restaurants. And for eating in, the kitchen and views are wonderful too! We love coming here year after year!

Property is a small, somewhat rustic beachside home which was just what we were looking for. Managers were communicative, but not overbearing. They let us know that the house was ready to occupy prior to the designated 4:00 check in time. Property was located in an area where it was easy to find decent restaurants as well as nearby grocery store and fish market. Morning sunrise over the ocean was spectacular. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.

Three years of trying to get a reservation only to be delayed by covid, but finally everything worked. Could not be happier with Kim for her communication, her help. Definitely hope to return next year.

This cottage is full of character and each detail did not go unnoticed! It was a perfect location (centrally located) for us to explore the outer banks in both directions. It was very clean and the owners are communicative and helpful. We had an excellent stay!

This was such a delightful place to stay! Absolutely loved the charm of the old Outer Banks cottage. Beautiful blend of old and new with views that can’t be beat!
Everything was clean, organized, wonderfully decorated and easy to use. Mark & Kim have really done a fantastic job providing everything you’d need.

This property was a quaint, homey cottage getaway with incredible ocean views from every room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which provided us with one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in years!

Enjoyed the Lemonade Cottage, even more when I cleaned the dining and bedroom window (took minutes with a paper towel). No fault of the owner, just mother nature doing her thing but gave a clear view of the ocean. A relaxing, step back in time in a 1930 cottage with all the comforts of today.

Another great stay; cut short by a hurricane; but the days we were there great. Mark and Kim swung by to give us an update on the work being done on the beach to replenishment and offered options; but we did not have a problem with the work. It was very interesting to watch.
