NEW AC NOW AVAILABLE! This newly renovated cabin is bright and airy, with a captivating view of Lake Arrowhead and its surrounding area. The great room, master bedroom and decks look out onto the lake, surrounding pine forest, and golden desert off in the distance; a truly unique Southern California landscape. Golden Lake View is an A-frame cabin with skylights, exposed beams and a wood-burning stone fireplace. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Each bed has fresh cotton sheets and duvets to make your stay more comfortable. During 4th of July you can enjoy a partial view of the fireworks from the deck. The home also has various entertainment features such as a Foosball table and Microsoft Xbox. It is a short drive to the lake, nature paths and great shopping at "The Village." The more adventurous can hike down to the lake in 20 to 30 minutes. Experience the soothing effects of the sunlight filtering through the trees from the deck and enjoy the tranquility of the forest while you relax in this mountain escape. Winter Considerations Lake Arrowhead receives much less snow than Running Springs or Big Bear, but it does snow - so if you book during winter months, please check weather & road conditions. It can be sunny and warm below yet snowing in the mountains. Guests are responsible for clearing snow if it snows during their stay. The closest ski and tubing areas are in Running Springs (15 to 20 minutes away). Snow Drift Snow Tubing Park is very fun & low commitment at $10 an hour. Big Bear is about 30 minutes away and has several skiing and snow play areas.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, and had the most amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The living area and kitchen have a lovely view of the trees and the lake, which makes breakfast a fantastic experience. The house heating system works well and the fireplace helps as well. The house is also only about 8 min drive from the Village. Overall, it was a 10/10.

My stay at Cedar Hill was pleasant, the Cabin itself was beautiful and well taken care of. The view from the Patio was amazing. The only complaint was the fact that I was super warned that the neighbors are very picky and would call the police if we were noisy. We are definitely not noisy people but almost felt like we had to cut the cake and sing Happy Birthday in the outside patio while using our indoor voices to avoid the “echo” but if you are looking for peace, quiet and a nice view this place will not disappoint.

The travel to the home is pretty difficult but not a deal breaker because of the amazing view. We were a little disappointed with the 10am check out time and the reluctant 3pm check in time. The amount of paperwork required seemed excessive and digital signing would be appreciated. The bedrooms were nice and distant from each other, which was great, however the matresses were not very comfortable. Overall, we had a nice time and appreciate the home despite some minor issues.

We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the deck in the morning, so beautiful with the view of lake arrowhead. Each room had its own bathroom which was also a huge plus!

Cabin was pretty clean , and had a good location. Best part was seating in the balcony in the evening, relax and enjoy the views. But, air conditioner was not working. Regardless of fans on the first floor , since there was no window treatment to block the sun , first floor was pretty hot in the morning and afternoon.
Our other frustration was the lake pass that we thought will give us free access to the lake.We found out that was expired. New owner never renewed it . They could have at least remove it, but they didn’t .Also, we found out that adults have to pay to get to the lake , even with the pass. We could not get to the Lake Arrowhead at all because of this situation , and had to go to Gregory Lake for kids to use the water park . That costed us extra charge and lot of extra driving.
Also, roads to get to the cabin are very narrow with sharp turns , and are confusing.
It was pretty good overall, but it’s not worth for us to go back there .
With that price , there are other places.

Beware of excessive fines
I booked this stay for a birthday weekend for 8 guests. An additional guest stopped by for dinner. As a result of having a 4th car in the driveway for 30 minutes I received a $2,000 fine from County of San Bernardino. I received 18+ missed calls from the property manager, however my phone was on silent and our dinner was interrupted by a security guard telling us to move our cars immediately down the hill. About 3 weeks later I received an email from Cedar Hill stating that I was responsible for paying a $2,000 parking citation. The property manager appealed the fine and unfortunately this was not granted and I was stuck paying the $2,000 fine in full. If I had known that those 3 days would have cost more than $4k I would have booked a luxurious house that allowed for 4 cars. Lesson learned. Word to future vacationers - the next unsuspecting tenant who receives a violation will get stuck with a $3,000 fine.

Had a wonderful two night stay at the Cedar Hills cabin. The family enjoyed lounging around on the deck or in front of the TV and fireplace. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location a short drive from the village.

Booking this property was a great idea. We would stay here again. Ideally located with awesome view and what was great was that from parking, you don't have to do stairs (just a couple of steps) to the main door that leads you to the living room. Lots of rooms and bathrooms with full kitchen appliances and loved how this was dog friendly. This was a very comfortable, well equipped house for our stay. Heating was great, lots of blankets and pillows, many sitting options inside and on the decks. The drive to the village and other areas for food and hiking was really convenient. Communication with the property manager was excellent, very prompt. We did have to wait ~20mins to be given check in instructions due to a delay on their end. It was a little inconvenient because I had called and messaged multiple people asking if check in instructions was sent. Just a little stressful because signal on my phone was cutting in and out and we were travelling with a baby. Other then that everything went very smoothly. I would book here again.

This was the perfect Lake Arrowhead getaway for my family. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The view of the lake was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft with games and a foosball table. This was a lovely gat away with my family of 5. The home is comfortable and unpretentious. I haven't been to this area in many years and forgot how the road up Rt. 18 is a bit windy and twisty. We experienced the first snow and it was harrowing to get back home. So, be prepared, as the roads are narrow. As far as the house, it had a beautiful view and all the basic amenities.

Above and Beyond Customer Service
I can tell you that it was an great home and that we enjoyed the view but honestly, that is just the tip of what I experienced. We found the home to be very peaceful and we thought that the speakers were a nice touch as we put on some music as background noise. Let me get into after we left, the most important thing was left behind, a teddy bear! Apparently Martha, the housekeeper was so thoughtful that before we even called, she let Sylvia, who is her manager, know about it and set it aside. Monica contacted Sylvia and it was just amazing how well coordinated everyone was. Thank you so much for helping return something so important! I can't wait to use one of your homes again.

Nothing but lies and very rude. The property was a death trap. We went to lake arrowhead and the day we were about to go to the cabin the said we can’t go to the lake. They charged me a extra deposit and kept it for a month. Like I said worst vacation ever. Never using them again.

The pros: loved the view of the lake, the balconies, the fact that we could bring our dog. The property itself was very nice.
The cons: Advertised as having lake rights, "restrictions due to COVID". We found out from from the locals that the association had changed that no rentals were allowed on the Lake unless accompanied by owner over three months ago. That was a big factor for us renting a property with "Lake Rights", and obviously if its a VRBO we would not have the owner with us. I feel the management company should have known this. We visited during a heat wave and brought several fans with us which were helpful, the home itself did not have adequate fans to cool down during this time, it still stayed in the high 80's sometimes 90's inside.
There was trash inside the cans when we arrived, which I sent photos to management as to not get charged. Not having a TV in the master, or having local channels on the main TV, was kind of a bummer. If my husband wanted to catch up with the daily/local news he had to go to a separate bedroom which was odd.
Management is very strict on check in...when we arrived the cleaners were just finishing up, an hour before check in and it was very "as per protocal" that we were to wait to get the green light before giving us the code, which would have been another hour waiting had we not arrived as the cleaners were finishing.
In spite of the cons we did have a relaxing retreat considering the times that we are in.
