Beautiful 1 bedroom ground floor condo on the scenic Ali'i Drive less than a mile from town. Full kitchen, brand new Queen Novaform 14 inch gel memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Condo complex pool on the ocean with a BBQ pavilion. Private lanai, Air conditioning, assigned parking spot, 32 inch TV, WiFi, and beach gear. Everything you need for a great Hawaii vacation! The Space: Come enjoy our relaxing 1 bedroom, newly remolded, fully stocked condo in Kona Shores, a cute older condo complex on the scenic Ali'i Drive less than a mile from town. 1 brand new Queen memory foam bed, 1 Queen sofa sleeper, and kitchen table all comfortably accommodate 4 people. New air conditioning unit in living room quickly cools the whole place now that we opened up the wall to the bedroom for a spacious feeling. Ground floor unit on Ali'i drive gives you easy access to the assigned parking spot to make coming and going a breeze. Our condo is fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms for 4 people with everything you will need. We also provide beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for you to use while you enjoy your stay with us. The oceanfront pool is amazing to sit and watch the sunset. Green flash coffee is located next door and town is less than a mile walking distance. Guest access: While staying at our condo you have access to the shared ocean front condo pool, BBQ area which is shared but can also be reserved, and a coin operated laundry facility. The keys are in a lock box and one assigned parking space is provided conveniently located outside back lanai door. Kona Shores is as older complex but well maintained. Please no smoking inside the condo. Interaction with guests: We want you to feel at home during your stay at our condo and the lock box for keys allows you to come and go without the worry of losing keys. We live about 15 minutes up the hill. We are a phone call away for any questions, recommendations, or maintenance needs.

Lovely pool and commons area, but the condo is dark, dank and musty. It is 20 feet from busy Ali’i Drive, so it is quite noisy. Not what we expected from a VRBO rental, ie: rusty fridge, smelly rug and no bar of soap in the bathroom.

Older property with very thin walls. Wasn’t clear that unit barely 10 feet from the 24/7 traffic on major road. That was disappointing. Adequate place but like most places here, overpriced for what you get. Bed is very comfortable and owner is so very responsive!!

Our family and I had a few rentals at Kona Shores. It was a great location, not overly crowded, and our host was very friendly making sure we had everything we needed even during a busy holiday weekend. Would definitely recommend!

We only stayed 1 night; so for our purposes - the unit was ideal. A short walk from the unit was the oceanfront pool. This was pretty impressive. The entire complex was well maintained and secure. The unit itself was well stocked and roomy enough for the 4 of us for the night. Make sure you book an excursion to see the Manta Rays at night. It was the highlight of our 3 week Hawaiian vacation.

The place is at a great location for visiting in the Kailua-Kona area. Everything is close by. The pool is spectacular. The place is OK for 2 people, but for more than 2, it would be crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Communicating with Tiffany was very efficient. Laundromat was very clean. So were the bbq area and swimming pool area. Our unit is very clean. AC work perfect. Had everything we needed for cooking, going to the beach and games for everyone to enjoy. Bed was very comfortable and so were the sofa pull out. Price was very affordable and I even have my cousin who plans on renting this unit. Guest parking is close to the pavilion and pool. At the pavilion there are benches to sit on. Bathroom, and a bbq fire pit and a sink with a nice counter. Then further towards the pool is a court area for smoking and relaxing. Then lastly is the pool area. Beautiful view of the ocean. Go and book a stay here and see all the beautiful sunset and sunrise . I know I will when I return to Hawaii .

The pictures don't do it justice. This place is really cute and very clean. Everything you need is there, from beach towels and toys to cooking items and sunscreen. If you forgot something - it's there. Parking is steps away from the door. The pool isn't anything fancy, but it's nice and is right on the shore, so you can swim and watch the sunset.
