About this villa rental

Located in Lower Matecumbe Key, this attractive villa for $370 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Centrally located at MM 75.5 in beautiful Islamorad, you are only minutes from boat ramps , great restaurants, beaches, shopping, fishing, diving, snorkeling, bike riding, etc. We provide bikes, kayaks and you can snorkel right from our dock. There are some resident iguanas in our mangroves and with luck you will see a manatee or great white heron. Pelicans, cormorants and gulls are common. We have a private beach where you can chill out and relax and shady outdoor spaces to enjoy. We offer live Xfinity streaming TV very in both the living room and bedroom and complimentary Netflix. Key Largo is less than an hour drive north and Key West is no more than a 2 hour drive south. We have two first floor villas available. There is one Queen bedroom and we provide an EZ-Bed or Aerobed Queen for setup in the Living if there are 4 guests. Villages of Islamorada,. Great location we used this rental for a wedding and it was literally in middle of everything. You can kayak right off the back of the property and it’s a great for this purpose. Since we are avid kayakers we loved this option. The unit was the garden villa in the back and it is the smaller of the units but it’s lovely and it was clean. You can snorkel off right off the dock which is amazing to see all the sea life. We seen sand sharks, colorful fish and eels. The hammock was wonderful for star gazing and and afternoon naps. We fished from the dock which made our vacation really peaceful. We saw iguanas and smaller lizards and beautiful birds. This is an amazing piece of property which will take you away from everything the sunsets are amazing from the dock and the tiki hut was just adorable. We met the host and he was wonderful and helpful of where to go. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to relax and unwind.

This is a beautiful property where you feel like you get away from it all. The snorkeling by the dock is amazing and the tiki hut is really nice for relaxing and getting a break from the sun.

Great location and so much to offer description doesn’t cover it all. We took our 23ft worldcat boat the dock and facilities are just amazing. Sunset heaven The patio and dock plus pier are just perfect kayaks , fishing gear and more, Hamock sand garden chair and sun beds just everything with a well kept yard with your own personal space and BBQ with gas and a spare when we stayed, BBQ was spotless clean . The apartment t was a good size, everything you need to cook Sunday lunch or thanksgiving dinner or just reheat the night before, full size dinning table and then two great sofas with a full tv entertainment and wifinetwork. Full size shower and bathroom with more room you can get all the kids in and yourself and it’s all one leval and safe Ample parking and close to a couple of great restraints , petrol station, raw bar , it’s got the lot and then 10 mins up the road you have the town center. ACU and fans in the rooms very effective. This place is a gem and very good value for money. We looked at this several times and never booked, so glad we did , top tip if your taking your boat , launch and store the trailer at Seabird marina, good value simple boat ramp with no drama and they sell bait only a 12 min boat drive and 8 mins in the car. My family stayed here for our son's high school graduation trip. It was our first time visiting the Keys so we didn't know what to expect. This was a great place to stay! From the private dock we saw parrot fish, a moray eel, multiple nurse sharks, a puffer fish, two manatees, and a lot of other marine life. The sunsets were beautiful from the dock. Drinking morning coffee on the patio or in the Tiki hut will definitely get your day started off right. The villa was clean and met all of our expectations. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sue’s Promise. The location was fantastic, the house and grounds were well kept and well appointed and the pier/dock was exceptional. We spent a LOT of time lounging and fishing off the pier and caught numerous fish. We saw a manatee, an eel a nurse shark and numerous species of fish all from the end of the pier. Our 7 day stay was near perfect, the exception being one day of rain :) ! We were the only guests there. The property is lovely, quiet and quite private. It is very much away from the hustle of the commercial sector of Islamorada, which is what we wanted. We took advantage of the bikes to bike to "Robbies" and into the shopping area. We also snorkeled and kayaked off the private jetty. The location was ideal for day trips NE to the reef at Key Largo and S.W to Key West. Terry and Charles were great hosts.

The lagoon area is perfect for a 17’ or less bay boat. The end of the dock could probably accommodate a 30’ cc. Owners are outstanding and the rental was clean.

Beautiful accommodations and great hosts. We will return! Jetty over the gulf with our own private tiki hut. Grounds are very well kept with lots of water toys; kayaks, floaties and noodles. A memorable trip!

We had an amazing stay at the Garden Villa. The property is absolutely stunning and filled with wild life. We saw so many types of fish, eels, lobster, sharks and even manatees! We did a lot of fishing from the dock and caught dozens of fish. Charlie and Terry are terrific hosts and were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go around town. I can’t wait to return!

This property hit all the buttons. The Garden Villa and property was amazing. We caught fish off the dock and cooked them for dinner... can't beat fresh fish for a meal. Sunsets were beautiful. We saw iguanas,morray eels ,sharks and barracudas.and a variety of other fish. Being at the mid point of the Keys you can find many things to explore and plenty of restaurants in either direction. Thank for everything Charlie and Terry !

My wife and I were beyond satisfied with the garden villa and overall property. The furnishings, living spaces and patio were as described. The air conditioning was more than adequate, and provided quick cooling relief when we would return from our day on the water when we turned the temp down after arriving back to the villa. The kitchen was well appointed and the washer dryer combo was a bonus to have! The grill was clean, the tiki hut provided excellent cover from the Florida sun, and the dock was perfect for our 22’ center console boat. The dock could easily accommodate a boat up to 25’. Our hosts Charles and Terry took the time to greet us after our arrival and quickly responded to any questions we had during our week long stay. Water access is easy for swimming near and around the dock, with amazing schools of fish and other sea life on view 24/7. We had 2 additional guests our first 2 nights and the air mattress they slept on was super comfortable for them. . We do look forward to returning to this lovely property in the future!

We loved everything about our stay. We used the kayaks and fishing poles. Didn’t catch anything but saw lots of fish. Food was amazing in Islamorada.

the place is excellent, private, clean ,comfortable the access to the water leaves much to be desired , there is no beach or a safe way to enter the water or use the kayaks, the back patio for the garden unit needs attention including the barbacue.

We stayed in the Garden Villa. The property was beautiful! The private deck was perfect for taking in sunrises & sunsets every day. The fish, birds, and iguanas were so much fun to watch. The Villa itself was all we needed to enjoy a quiet week away. Although simple (small bathroom & queen size bed), we knew this when booking the property & it was not an issue for us. We had access to Netflix for nighttime relaxing & good WiFi. There were 4-5 bikes and 4 kayaks, all for visitors use. We had our own patio & grill for cooking in. The Publix grocery store was a short drive into town. We were less than 5 min from Bud & Mary’s Marina and loved watching the boats coming in. We saw nurse sharks and a manatee there too! The location of Sue’s Promise is on the south side of Islamorada, away from traffic. We enjoyed driving to the nearby state parks for more views of the Atlantic side, Long Key was our favorite. We enjoyed The Florida Boy Bar & Grill just about 10 min south for amazing mahi-mahi & tuna Reuben sandwiches. We also enjoyed Lorelei’s, for a better view and another wonderful mahi sandwich. It was the perfect place to spend on our relaxing vacation!
