About this house rental
Nestled in Matlacha Isles, this lovely house for $311 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Please come and enjoy our 2BR / 2BA 1410 Sq ft. POOL home located in the quaint fishing village of Matlacha. Matlacha is located in SW Florida just east of Pine Island. The area affords the water enthusiast with endless opportunities. The town has many art galleries and unique shops, many of which have the work of local artists. There are also restaurants and bars with daily live music. The home is located just 30 minutes from Fort Myers International Airport and only a few minutes from a modern grocery store, chain restaurants and shopping. Either Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel Island can be reached by car in about 40 minutes. If you have a boat, Sanibel or Cayo Costa are about 40 minutes. Matlacha Pass has some of the best inshore fishing in SW Fl. We presently live in the North but have very helpful property managers only a few miles away. Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 10 AM. There may be some flexibility depending on the schedule.

My husband and I escaped the north for 10 beautiful days to this lovely home in Matlacha, Florida. Just over the bridge from charming Pine Island, there were lots of places to eat and convenient to most anything else you’d need. The house is just darling and has everything you could need for the stay. The pool, deck, and lanai were truly lovely. The owners were very responsive to any questions we may have had. We definitely will return!

We arrived super early in the morning and they had the lights on for us, very welcoming! The house was very clean and comfortable. Two ensuites were a very nice treat. The pool and boat lift were the icing on top!! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a worry free vacation!

The property is great! It is clean and the pool was wonderful. My family rents houses every year in the Cape Coral area during the holidays so we have stayed in several. I would stay here again. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly.

Loved our stay here. The house is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Owners are responsive and helpful. Neighborhood is quiet. The little produce market nearby has great smoothies and Cuban sandwiches.

Beautifully decorated house, a pool and a canal full of fish! what else could you want. Minutes to fine restaurants and shopping. Don't miss the DEK bar, maybe a little primitive but best PIZZA ever..Landlord very responsive....great stop in a great area...Nice pool, good TV 'S...plenty of dining space.SAFE CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED

We loved, loved, loved this place! Matlacha is a quaint little town, and the neighourhood where the house is located is nice and quiet. The house itself is spacious and has all the necessary amenities at your disposal. We really enjoyed the local restaurants Micelli's and Bert's Bar & Grill. Paul and Petra were graceful and responsive hosts. We highly recommend this place to other people and will definitely come back.

Matlacha is a wonderful, quirky little town that marries
flower-child vibe with a down-to-earth angler’s paradise.
This lovely home made exploring it a dream! Very comfortable beds and couches,
the most attentive hosts imaginable, and a yummy heated pool
for relaxing, all contribute. There’s no close beach without a drive, but a sunset cruise on the canals, a warm, mineral springs an hour away, and the freshest fish
you’ll ever grill, make it a very, special, one-of-a-kind vacation! Thank you,

We enjoyed our month in this beautiful home. The area has everything you would want. Lots of wonderful restaurants and places you can buy fresh seafood to fix yourself. Matlacha is a quirky little artsy town to explore. Love everything about the house and area.

We loved our stay at the Blue Lagoon!
Our family stayed at the Blue Lagoon for the holidays. The house is warm and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and the house was extremely clean. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful dishes, glasses, and cookware. By far the best rental we've ever rented with VRBO. Enjoyed sitting outside by the pool. The patio and dock area are well landscaped with great outdoor furniture and cushions. Great neighborhood with a grocery store about a mile down the road. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this rental. Thank you!!!!

Matlacha Get Away
Overall, this was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Fish were jumping and the temperatures in Matlacha were in the 70-80's all week. It was nice to have a place with a pool and a dock to increase our viewing of the tranquil neighborhood and canal life. Loved being close to the local restaurants and art galleries of Matlacha as well as local necessities like Publix and other stores. Loved the fun colors and decorations.

Perfect vacation home
Had a lovely relaxing vacation at The Blue Lagoon. The house is well equipped, everything you could possibly need and a great location. Restaurants, art galleries and stores all very close by. The house is very comfortable, would highly recommend this property.
