We brought our three screen zombies here and had a great “unplugged” week together. The beach is such a short walk from the house, and the beach equipment provided by the owner made it extra fun. When not at the beach we enjoyed playing croquet in the backyard and sitting out on the large screened porch. We would definitely stay here again.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at your home! She had not seen the ocean in 10 years and this was the perfect getaway! My mother has some mobility issues so the one level layout of your home was great for her. We cooked some marvelous meals thanks to the kitchen. Fantastic proximity to beach access. Will recommend this property to others. Thank you again for everything!

We have been vacationing on the Isle of Palms for more than a decade. Usually, we do a week in the summer with the kids and other families. This fall it was just me and the wife. This property is absolutely amazing value, in a great location, with fantastic owner. Fair warning, if you’re looking for a brand new mega mansion, which are plentiful in this town, this is not it. This is a true beach home. However, it is so well maintained and well stocked that you would think it was a 5 star resort. When I say well maintained, I mean you can tell it was freshly painted, everything worked properly, and you can see the owners put a lot of thought into its care and upkeep. When I say well stocked, I mean there wasn’t an appliance, kitchen gadget, pot, pan, utensil that was not provided. If you need them, there are multiple slow cookers. Waffle makers. Several different kinds of coffee makers (instant like a Keurig and drip). Every condiment you could think of was in the drawers. Beach chairs, puzzles, umbrellas, an outdoor shower, internet, large screen tvs., the list goes on . The highlight of the property is the proximity to the beach and the awesome screened porch. You cannot go wrong staying herein.

We had a pleasant stay in this charming older home with updated features. We had a problem with the air conditioning the first couple of days and the host Betty was immediately on it! She got the problem corrected the minute we contacted her and was most gracious in offering to extend our stay for our trouble. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is super nice and in a great location. We hope to come back next summer.

Family of 5, stayed for a week. We love IOP, this was our first time staying somewhere other than Wild Dunes. We pretty much spent all our time either on the wonderful screened porch, or out on the beach, which was uncrowded even in July. The beach access was just across the street, so a very short walk. Perfect size house for our family, updated and very nicely appointed, pretty landscaping and great deck outside to hose off the sand. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.

This house was a perfect location to the beach and it’s one level which I was very happy with. The screened in porch is a bonus, perfect for family game nights. The kitchen is very very well equipped-more than you could ask for. This is a well kept house with nice landscaping. We definitely would rent again.

Betty's house is so beautiful, and the porch is fabulous! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied with everything anyone could want or need, and the living area is big with very comfortable and well maintained furniture. Betty has done a great job updating the house and bathrooms with tile and granite, and the beach chairs, umbrella, wagons, and beach toys were greatly appreciated and in good condition. My daughter, grandson, and I loved this house and location to the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we felt it was our own private paradise since there were very few people anywhere near us. It seemed to me that this is a neighborhood of more full time residents rather than rentals because the beach was never crowded, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I give this house and area the highest rating possible in every way and will definitely stay here when we come back to the Isle of Palms.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. My husband & I and our two daughters & their husbands all had plenty of room. Betty has a fully equipped kitchen, she has everything you need to prepare meals & eat in! Our favorite part was the beautiful large screened in porch where we all enjoyed the comfortable breeze & coffee every morning! The location was absolutely perfect, the beach access is probably 100 yard walk from her property; and having all the beach supplies there was Super convenient! We will be back sometime in the future. Isle of Palms beaches are incredibly clean & very quiet. Thanks Betty for sharing your house!

The host Betty was wonderful and answered all our questions promptly. The home is charming , very clean, plenty of space, and equipped with beach supplies for the short walk to the gorgeous beach. It was so nice to be able to make our breakfast together in the morning and have space to stretch out while we rested and relaxed. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were spacious and everything we needed for our meal prep was right at our fingertips. We are excited to book here again in the future

We would definitely book this property again. This house was the perfect size for myself, husband and 4 year old. (Although a few extra guests also would have easily been accommodated.) The full kitchen was great for making meals and there is a grocery store 4 minutes away. I really enjoyed sitting on the screened in patio during a few rainy moments. We had a great experience!

The perfect vacation house for us on our favorite island! I’m hard to impress with cleanliness, and I was 110% satisfied with the cleanliness for my kids to be running around and crawling around on the floor! Great sunroom, perfect outdoor yard for kids, and it was so handy having beach equipment because we definitely didn’t have room to pack it! Beds are super comfy, and I was able to make meals in the kitchen with no issue because it was stocked so great. having a washer and dryer is a massive bonus for us also!
