Your hosts live here on the main floor above you, 365 days of the year and are here to make sure that your stay in the Big Island is all that you could hope for it to be. And yet you have all the privacy, your own dedicated entrance, as your own home within the home. We are thrilled to be able to share our spectacular views and wonderful climate.. Hawaii "Transient Accommodations Tax", ID Number : TA-028-975-3088-01 is monthly remitted to the State. Are you concerned about the virus? Be assured that we are too. Our standard operating procedure is to thoroughly clean the studio after every booking. Besides washing and wiping down with disinfectants, we use an ozone generator known to kill moulds and viruses. So be welcome and assured that we at Hilltop Haven have done our part. Very modern and as we like to say better than the Hilton at a fraction of the cost. We want you to be able to experience Hawaii and the Big Island to its fullest without spending a great amount on your lodging. And yet you will love your accommodations so much you may not want to leave. Secure and peaceful, a common comment is about the attention to detail. That and the great sleeps our guests have. Fully wifi equipped! Stay a week or more and get a 10% discount, 15% for a month. The property offered most of what we needed for a three week stay. We enjoy grilling and cooking our evening meal at home. The weather was not ideal for outdoor time...something that can't be controlled😁. We still had a nice and relaxing stay😁.

Dale and his property were just amazing. Beautiful location, all facilities my daughter and I could ask for. All ready to move in. Check in was seamless. Beautiful view of the mountain, quiet neighborhood and central location to all the things we wanted to do.

Great place to stay. Loved that it had all the amenities one needed - definitely appreciated the washer and dryer especially after being in the water or hiking all day. Loved the food choices in this little town and of course, the market! Hosts were very communicative and helpful.

My stay was wonderful. I would recommend this place. It seems like everything is new. It is a short distance from downtown. The only complaint was that the TV controls seemed difficult to operate.

Had everything I needed and a lot of little touches that were really thoughtful. For example, I appreciated the strategically placed nightlights since it’s so dark there at night. Check in and out was a breeze, very friendly hosts :)

This was our 2nd visit at Hilltop Haven. This VRBO is a great starting point to make day trips to various locations on the Big Island. The room is cozy and has a functional propane fireplace if needed. The beaches are a short drive down the hill for fun in the sun. Waimea is a wonderful town with markets that have local meat, fruit and vegetables. Shopping at the grocery store is secondary. We will book again when we are able to visit.

Such a gem. Clean, well stocked stock. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the beach toys. The location is great and the yard and view was amazing. I had a great meditation in the morning outside. Highly recommend!

This property has an unparalleled view of Mauna Kea along with the expanse of Mauna Loa and Hualalai, all visible from the picture window of the studio as well as the large manicured lawn. On top of that, the studio is extremely comfortable and roomy and well designed and constructed. Dale is an awesome host and communicated well with us to ensure that our stay was a smooth one. The property is a gem in Waimea and we are thrilled that we picked Hilltop Haven!

It is an efficiency studio-like room, perfect for when you want to be out all day and come back to crash. It has a modern kitchenette and a really nice bathroom with a great shower! The setting is beautiful, pastoral, with dramatic vistas of Mauna Kea. Dale the owner is accommodating. The location is convenient for Waimea town. I would love to stay there again.

Dale and Patsy have a wonderful cozy haven to stay in Waimea. The view out the large picture window of Mauna Kea was beautiful, and a full size refrigerator and a washer/dryer were nice additions not found at other rentals. We would definitely try and stay again when in Waimea.

We have children on the island who live right outside of Waimea so this was super convenient. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay.

Dale and Patsy's place is a cozy, clean, quiet and centrally located property in Waimea, Big Island of Hawaii. There is a large private ranch (Parker Ranch) in the front and fantastic views of Mauna Kea and the observatories in the back. It is quiet, peaceful but close to good restaurants and cafes. Most importantly, both South Kona and Hilo are about 1.5 hours away by car, so a great location to be in. And Dale is a great host, very helpful, always there if you need anything, and a great person to talk to. All in all, you cannot do better than staying here! Thanks Dale and Patsy!

Everything was very comfortable. The bed, the sitting area, and the well-equipped kitchen. The hosts, Dale and Patsy, were quite welcoming. A convenient and pleasant place to stay for our time exploring Kamuela.
