About this condo rental
Situated in Fernandina Beach, this lovely condo for $417 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our condo is located in Fernandina Shores condominium complex on the North End of the island. The North End is less crowded so you are guaranteed a front row spot on the beach. It is 200 steps door to sand. It is about a 10 minute walk to Main Beach where there is a playground for children, putt putt, skate park, basketball court, restaurants, and lifeguards. Historic Fort Clinch is within a mile of the condo. It is a great spot to catch a view of the lighthouse, wildlife, take a jog, or go on a bicycle ride. Fort Clinch is one of the most well preserved forts in the United States and includes tours and, on the first weekend of the month, live reenactments. We have renovated the entire condo. The large living area has a 65” Ultra HD Smart TV including DirecTV. The master bedroom and 1 of 2 spare bedrooms incudes a 43” 4k Ultra HD TV. The master includes DirecTV as well. Wifi is included as well as keyless entry so you do not need to worry about keeping up with a key while relaxing at the beach or pool. We have installed a whole home water softening system. You are able to drink water from the sink so you no longer need bottled water thereby decreasing your footprint on the earth. Your hair and skin feel great! We just installed new decking on the back porch as well as installing an outdoor shower. Just down the road on 14th street is a fishing dock and a kayak/boat launch. The condo complex has boat/RV parking with advanced notice. Egans Creek Greenway Trail is within a mile of the condo and offers miles of bike trails and untouched nature appeal. Don't forget the Historic Downtown area of Fernandina Beach, which is 3 miles from the condo. It has many restaurants, shops, pubs and much more. You could spend days here without seeing everything. There is a ferry service from here if you choose to see Cumberland Island for the day. Soggy Bottoms offers all you need for a relaxing family vacation. The pool and tennis courts, which are 30 yards from the back door are available for your use. We have beach chairs, toys and a few rafts for your use. The condo is very quiet so NO PARTIES and be respectful. We have owned this property for almost 20 years. We have worked very hard so please treat it like you would treat your own home. Not only was this place updated and clean, it also accommodated 2 families and my young grandchildren. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and also close the venue we were attending! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We had a great stay. Easy walk to the beach, which was never too crowded and beautiful! Condo was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the wagon, beach toys and beach chairs. Our only note- the steps were a bit steep for our 2 & 5 year old- wish there was a baby gate for evenings for safety. Thank you!

The condo was great! Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Very short walk to the beach where we rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Short drive to downtown where we ate dinner and shopped. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again. We had six ladies and were very comfortable and felt very safe. The pool was conveniently located near the unit.

This property is close to the beach, clean and in a great neighborhood. We had an issue with the door and the neighbor came right over to help us. We loved having the back door with shower. We went over memorial weekend and it wasn't crowded. The owners had a book of places to eat, things to do and rent. With their reviews and we loved that. Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.

My daughter and her husband and four children ranging from 3 months to 7 years stayed and had plenty of room. We came over for dinner with a well stocked kitchen to use and plenty of room for everyone at the table or bar. The beach access is visible from where the car is parked and an easy two block walk. The street is not busy and the kids were able to ride their bikes with few cars coming by. The back fenced in porch was great for storage and well stocked with all kinds of beach things. A convenient water hose and additional faucet/shower for washing off the sand. We would gladly choose this location again.

This trip consisted of Nana, Granddaddy, Moma, Daddy, 3 yr old and one yr old. And this was the perfect place. There were beach toys there for the kids so much less to pack for us. We forgot the kids tear free soap but were pleasantly surprised with finding some there. And the outside shower on that back porch was clutch!
It is clean and we'll furnished. It's two blocks from the beach. Which for me is better than being in a high rise on the beach. And it's convenient to a lot of things on the island.
The owner was also supper helpful pre-trip with quest about the island.
I highly recommend staying here, especially if you have kids.

Great location easy walk to the beach which is not over populated and 2.5 miles from downtown. The house was so clean and had everything we needed and more beach chairs, tent, toys, and boards. Owners are very responsive and have some great recommendations. We have never been to the area and enjoyed our stay. A very nice family vacation spot. Love to return in the future!

Perfect relaxing family getaway
We had a great experience. This was out first time to Amelia Island and we will be back. Ashley was very responsive and gave great recommendations. The food was excellent. The walk to the trip was short and easy even with multiple kids. Keyless entry was great. Plenty of beach chairs, wagon, coolers, boogie boards etc. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels for multiple people. Excellent appliances. Comfy beds. Only recommendation would be a full length mirror and a lightweight vacuum for sand/little messes. This is a wonderful property. Thank you.

The welcome booklet listing all the places to eat and the environment of each was very helpful! The house was immaculately cleaned and the beds were super comfortable and the design of the entire place was wonderful. 2 blocks from the beach!!! I cannot say enough positive things about this place! Definitely on my list of best places I have stayed at so far! Amelia Island is wonderful and we cannot wait to come back!

This was our family’s first time at Fernandina Beach and it did not disappoint! This property was truly home away from home! Very well equipped with all the necessities to have a great vacation! Property owner was extremely pleasant to work with and made sure we had the best stay possible! One of our favorite vacations by far! You won’t be disappointed! We will be back very soon!

This was the first time I use VRBO, so I was just a little frightened, but the owner and this property was wonderful. The owner contacted me within minutes any time I had a question. The property was very clean and very very close to the beach. I saw a review about the distance of the property stating it was extremely close to beach and they were correct. The property had extra chairs for the beach and a little buggy for the very short trip.(We never used the buggy, its that close) Besides being close to beach you are maybe 2 minutes from Fort Clinch and maybe 5 minutes from a Publix, Winn Dixie and a Walmart that is trapped in 1990.(it is very small) Also 5 mintues away is the wharf, great shopping wonderful food. Plus inside the condo the owner has book telling good places to eat. Our recommendation is two places, Cucina South(Italian) and Bobs Steak and Chop House, makes me hungry thinking about them, you will need reservation.Would I stay here again????? YES!!! Any day of the week and during any time. If there was 6 stars I would give it 6. Cannot wait to rent again at this spot.

We stayed with our four kids, the location was great! The place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Easy walk to the beach, quick drive to Fort Clinch and many area restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

I felt like we were staying at a friend's house, it was so well appointed we had everything we didn't even know we needed. While we were at Amelia Island, there was a cold snap but the condo was so spacious we had plenty of room to hang out! Before we got there we were a little sad that this spot isn't right on the beach but it's such a short walk to a beautiful beach, we didn't feel like we missed out at all. We also found a short walking trail through the wooded area on the other side of the property. Overall Amelia Island was such a quaint little getaway, we will definitely return!
