Nestled in Indian Rocks Beach, this lovely condo for $291 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Hamilton House is a smaller, more intimate, gulf front property consisting of 23 privately owned vacation rentals and literally steps away from the beach sand! Our unit # 106 is not directly overlooking the beach but offers a partial view of the ocean at much lower prices! The property amenities include Gulf Front heated swimming pool & interior elevator. Plenty of balcony furniture, beach towels/chairs/umbrellas, and children’s beach toys available to our guests! Balcony is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom! This unit offers a full size, fully-equipped kitchen complete with appliances including microwave and dishwasher, stocked drawers and cabinets...everything you need to enjoy dining at home. Free wireless internet access. Cable TV in the living room and master bedroom. TV in the second bedroom does not have cable so please bring your favorite streaming device. Sleeping accommodations include QUEEN beds in both bedrooms. There is a walk-in shower in the master bathroom and a tub shower combo in the second bathroom. This unit has a washer/dryer, central heat and air conditioning. Parking is assigned with 1 covered and 1 uncovered parking space. No trailers, RVs or boats. Hamilton House is a Smoke-Free Vacation Rental. Sorry, No pets.

With some tweaks it could be a decent every year stay for us. The PROS: very responsive owner, super clean, bldg right on beach, actually heated pool, pool is wind blocked (good for Dec-Feb weather), walkable to a few good restaurants, quiet area, provides big beach towels, big porch, 2 coffee maker options (Keurig/ drip). CONS: the mothball musty smell. The first two nights it was so strong that I used Starbucks coffee, the grinder we brought, and put bowls of coffee around the unit just so I could stay in there. Then we finally bought a diffuser and essential oils just to try and hide it. It was enough where someone hugged us after 2 nights there and said that I smelled of mothballs. YIKES. Maybe an ozone machine could get the smell out. If you have neighbors upstairs from this unit, make sure to bring your white noise machines. The people (kids) in 206 were dragging furniture around starting at 7am through bedtime. Made work calls, sleeping in, etc. impossible. It is so loud – and we even brought noise machines (on full volume). The bath (not beach) towels and sheets had so much fabric softener they were tacky to the touch. We had to wash them 4x just so our skin wouldn’t smell like softener. Kitchenware needs updating. No wine glasses. No grater, no strainer. Bring your own egg pan. Most of these (except the ceiling/noises) are an easy fix and given the responsiveness of the owner, I’m sure she will remediate timely.

The condo had everything we needed. I loved having the balcony in the bedroom. It was like a big window to watch the palm trees outside. We went to the beach almost every day. The attendants kept the area very clean and maintained. We like a hard bed so we took the topper off for the week. Perfect sleep. Would love to stay again next year. Good time to stay.

The condo was excellent, just as described in the listing, and photos are true to reality. Still a beautiful view even with a side balcony, wonderful short walk to the beach area, and couch/beds were comfy. It didn’t have as much beach equipment as I was expecting (at least four chairs and an umbrella) only two actual beach chairs, a chair in a bag, and no umbrella. The area is walkable and had lots of good food nearby and so close to Clearwater and St Pete. Would absolutely recommend!!

The room itself was very nicely remodeled, clean with basic cooking utensils, coffeemaker, toaster and beach items. This location, with some great restaurants in walking distance, was perfect for us. The two balconies were roomy with a partial view of ocean as stated. I would have liked a couple of extra kitchen trash bags there, but we managed just fine. The elevator was older but worked fine. No landscaping to speak of, but that didnt matter to us as the rate was very fair. All in all it was a great and affordable place to stay.

This is a sweet apartment with a lovely saltwater pool and a good amount of space with great access to the beach. It could be so good but some of the things that make life on vacation easier and more relaxing are missing. For example, the lack of any extra towels and sheets was frustrating. There is a washer and dryer but they’re really loud and who wants do laundry all week. Also the dryer catches clothes in the door and you have to rip them to remove them. There is a dishwasher but not enough ceramic dishes to wait to run it until it’s full and there was only a gross old sponge for handwashing dishes. Also a warning to people with little kids and anyone concerned about pesticide exposure: we came back to the apartment to a note that said a pest company had come through for treatment that day. We were given no warning that this was happening. I called the owner who said it’s the manager of the building that contracts with the pest company but otherwise couldn’t tell me anything about it. I called the building managers and never heard back. Lastly, the place is loud every evening with music from the restaurant across the street and all of the reviews I read mentioned how wonderful Tony is. Sadly, Tony isn’t the manager anymore but this isn’t clear in the listing. I’m disappointed that vrbo allows reviews to be passed on to the new owner that include praise for the previous owner. It’s very misleading.

The location was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool! So close to the beach! First, night we went out to dinner and returned to the condo to a locked door. We were not give the code to get in the lobby, just our condo. Tried to contact property manager and we’re to told contact on site manager or call a locksmith 🤨. There was no on-site manager that we knew about so, luckily, someone was walking out to his car and told us the code. We were thankful after waiting outside for one and a half hours. There were not enough blankets and/throws. Floors were gritty, I felt like I had to clean my feet before getting into bed. Toilet paper was too thin; McDonald’s had thicker!😆

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hamilton House. The location on the beach was superb giving us the option for both a pool or the beach. The unit was impeccably clean and the furnishings and beds were comfortable. We will definitely return.

The Hamilton House Condos are in a great location. We have stayed in this building 3 times now, but first stay in #106. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. The owner was easily accessed and helpful if we had any questions. Check in and out was very smooth. Thanks Tony!

Perfect beach location. Beach chairs were not usable. Bath mats are needed in both bathrooms. We didn't use the pool as it was packed with children so it was never quiet.

This condo was perfect for my family but of three. Had plenty of kitchen necessities, so we could cook most of our meals. Bedrooms were a good size with plenty of room. The host was great to work with and responded immediately to our needs. We loved just walking downstairs and right onto the beach!

Unit was very nice and equipped with anything one would need. Terrific location, within walking distance to several great restaurants. I’ve been coming to IRB for over 35 years, but this is my first experience with Hamilton House. It did not disappoint. I’ll be returning!!!

Outstanding from original booking to the departure! We originally booked for January but a couple of weeks before we had to postpone. Tony was very understanding and allowed us to take another week that was available. The condo was very clean and super comfy! The bed was really comfortable which is not always the case when renting. We had Cable TV too so we could watch our beloved 76ers win their first 2 playoff games! The veranda was large and the view to the left is spectacular! Beach chairs and towels were provided which is a huge plus as well. I just can’t say enough about Tony. He was wonderful to deal with. We will definitely be returning.

Great experience. Condo was clean, spacious, and in a great location. Owner had everything you’d need to know in a binder. Restaurants directly across the street, even a little fruit market -they had delicious fruit. Publix grocery store about 1.5 miles away. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary items. Washer and dryer was added bonus and everyone was very friendly in the complex.

Had a fantastic stay in Indian Rocks Beach for the Christmas holiday. The condo was exactly as described. It was very inviting, clean, comfortable and made for a very pleasant and enjoyable vacation. You definitely got that "beachy" vibe the minute you walked into the condo. The location of this property is great! The private beach entrance was really convenient and made going to the beach stress free. There are so many restaurants, surf shops, ice cream and coffee shops all within walking distance, there is is really no need to drive anywhere. Tony was quick to answer the few questions we had before our arrival and he provided all of the information we needed for our stay. I am sure he would have addressed any issues we had in a timely manner during our stay but honestly we didn't have any at all. We would definitely stay here again!
