They can go crabbing at the Bay on 24th Street (August only). Or drive them to miniature golfing, ice cream parlors, the Beach Haven amusement park with water slides. Or rent bicycles, a Kayak, a crabbing boat, jet ski’s…you name it. The beauty of the North End of Surf City is not just the nice architecture (mix of old charming cottages with big expansive new architecture) which makes for wonderful romantic strolls with the family, but also that there is so much within walking distance. This part of the Island is the shortest walking distance from the Bay to the Ocean (just 3 short blocks) and only two slow 2-lane roads to cross for safe access.
