We had a relaxing time during our stay in Kure. This rental property was the perfect location to walk or ride bikes to any of the local attractions. The beach was just a short walk as well.
The hosts were very responsive and helpful during our stay. There was an issue with the basement AC and they had a repair service out immediately to fix the issue.
We would definitely stay here again!

We are from Iowa we all had a wonderful time and the views of the ocean are beautiful and could even watch the fireworks from then master bedroom deck. Beautiful home, beautiful place to visit and relax and just be all together.

Another great stay, Memorial Day weekend - weather was less than ideal but the house was perfect! Second time staying, excellent communication with owners. Hope to stay here in future years!

We loved our stay in this beach house. It was a very short walk to the beach and the house had everything we needed for our stay. Bikes, beach toys, a grill, tons of beach chairs etc. Everything was clean, comfortable and just how it was featured on the website. Thanks for a great beach week.

Overall everything was a positive experience. It is close the beach, they offer beach items for use in the garage, everything was clean and pictures represented the unit well. Things went as planned, entering and exiting were smooth as well as checkout. The couches on the main level have lost their support (not very cushy anymore), but I don't mind as they are a leather type material (great for rentals & wiping clean) and they are going to take more of a beating. I would rather have a slightly worn leather type couch in a rental than the squishiest of fabric ones in a beach rental.
The only thing I would like to comment on as a con to our stay was the sleeping comfort (the rooms and layour are great). A previous reviewer commented on how the mattresses, especially the master suite, needed to be replaced and the owners had said "it was handled". I think it was handled by just putting egg crate down or foam. I feel like the current mattress is a memory foam from 2016 that no longer has any memory in it. At one point sleeping on my side, my shoulder was hitting the hard base of the bed, turning over hurt. One side of the bed was in a bit better shape than the other, but they really need to get new mattresses. I think even buying a cheap new regular mattress every couple of years would work better than what is on the bed now.
So hopefully they replace, not just "handle" that issue, but other wise it was a great visit and I really appreciated the cleanliness, the layout, the closeness to the beach and the quiet of the area come 10pm.

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood for relaxing family vacation!
This house was great for our family for a quiet and relaxing vacation. We had adequate space and baths for 6 adults. The kitchen was well-equipped for our family that enjoys cooking while on vacation. The location for quick access to the beach was awesome. All the chairs and umbrellas you need are provided. The full-time neighbors next door were friendly and very accommodating. We did have an issue with the dryer and towels left by the cleaning staff upon arrival, but Susan was very quick to respond and handle. :)
Also, just to mention, my daughter had a small medical emergency the first day where we had to call 911 upon her fainting on the beach. While I hope that no one incurs any emergencies, the emergency responders were awesome. Also, one of Susan's neighbors was kind enough to allow us to use his golf cart to transport my daughter back to the house. So, all that to say, we were in good hands all the way around!

Beautiful Condo and location
We have a great time at Kure Beach and enjoyed our stay a the Kure Me Away condo. The condo was as describe and big enough for our family of 10. Will come back for sure and stay at this property again.

Our family enjoyed staying nice and close to Kure Beach. You could be on the beach in about 2 minutes. The rental was very clean and worked well for the 10 of us. We did a fair amount of cooking in and found the kitchen fairly well stocked. The eating area accommodates 8 so we had to make do. The property manager was great at communicating. Check out directions were clear and easier than other places we have stayed. We would recommend this place and stay here again!

Overall great experience. Very clean. Nice layout great for multigenerational stay and teens loved the "studio" floor to themselves. Very short walk to beach made our free-spirit selves able to come and go as we pleased in different configurations so everyone coyld go on private walks or stay back at house and still stay in touch with everyone in passing. Fully stocked w beach bikes umbrellas and chairs! 3 decks for a water view...you can hear the waves. Couches relatively comfy. Armchair saved trip for post back surgery guest. Could use some more towels for longer stay. Owners very responsive.

This was the second year we've done this trip and it was another great success!!! This home is ranked one of the best in my book!!! We really utilize the kitchen and this kitchen did not disappoint!!

Great Weekend Stay
We were in town for a weekend wedding and this house was perfect for our group of 8! Could have slept more people easily. Although not beach front, the location was still wonderful and has a beautiful ocean view from the top balcony! We walked about 2 blocks between our rental and the wedding location the entire weekend and the walk was even pretty as we admired the different beach homes.
Our only complaint was the extreme discomfort of the bed in the master bedroom which is a biggie!! It needs some SERIOUS attention but I made sure to mention it to the owners so hopefully they’ll take care of that immediately.
As long as that bed is taken care of, I would definitely recommend this home for your stay :)

Place is nice but, needs some upkeep. Bushes grown across steps. Very cold in November. . Dangerous.
Heat controlled by owner. inside is 61 degrees in November. Cold! Sketchy run down house on the corner with barking dogs when you wa Full time neighbor that complains.

I enjoyed the stay, we all did. Some fished, went walking around the area. We were able to walk up to the pier where family was fishing and next day, out to the beach which were only a short walk across the street from the home.
We are older renters so, the steps was a little bit challenging for us. In two of the rooms we saw a bug in each but, there was spray there to be used. The house was great overall, clean, equipped with all the necessities needed to make our trip a pleasant one. We all enjoyed our stay.

The owners were wonderful communicators, and the location of the house was amazing. However, the house needs to be better cleaned for sure. There was a smell coming from the garbage disposal, we saw more than one unfriendly bug in and out of the house, the upstairs bathroom was missing a towel rod. Not related to cleanliness but it would be helpful if the rooms not facing the ocean had curtains installed as the sun is up till past 8pm which affects kids who would need to go to sleep earlier.

Wonderful family vacation
We had a wonderful vacation. The house certainly met our needs for comfort, great beach access and ample space. The street was nice and quiet. We had everything that we needed.

This is the second time we have rented this home. Its a great home for a family stay at the beach. The four bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are far enough apart for some privacy when needed. Quiet neighborhood (which was perfect for us) so don't rent this home for a wild party! Attentive owners that make themselves very available.
