Located at the end of a dead-end street of a few houses, the cottage is on four acres surrounded by woods. Just down the street is the Mast Landing public boat launch on Lake Wentworth. Winnipesaukee is minutes away. Play fetch with your pup or just relax by the fire pit with your favorite refreshment while enjoying the moment. A charming, well stocked home with all the creature comforts you want including Wi-Fi. Outdoor dining on the deck with gas grill, warm & cozy sunroom, electric fireplace for year-round ambiance, kitchen essentials, towels & linens, comfortable beds, and 3 TV's. Great yard for the kids and dog to play. Cornhole, bocci, badminton, marshmallow roasting sticks, and camp firewood are on site to assist with having quality family time together making memories. We have been offering our cottage for rent for many years and have hundreds of satisfied guests that have enjoyed the cottage in summer, fall, and winter. Many guests are repeat and feel the cottage is truly theirs when they come back time and time again.

From the moment I opened the door and walked in, I experienced joy and relaxation! From the personal welcome sign in the sun room, to the soft music and lighting, I instantly felt at home. The beds were comfortable, the layout was spacious and open, and the outdoor space was amazing for relaxing and entertaining! I highly recommend this fabulous location! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

We loved our stay in Wolfboro; house was clean and adorable. Owners so attentive to any request before our visit. Had a corn hole set for us to play.

Took my husband and 2 dogs up to the cottage for his birthday. We had a great relaxing weekend. Everything we could possibly need was in the cottage. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful house and we had a fabulous family vacation! The house has plenty of space inside and out for our family of 4 and 2 big dogs. It's light and airy and close to everything the lake and town have to offer but with privacy for eating on the deck, playing in the yard, and enjoying a fire. The house is well equipped and has everything you need for a home away from home. I so appreciated all of the little extras, the mirror in the closet for hair and makeup, the well-stocked linens and towels, dog bowls and beds, and local links and suggestions for things to do no matter the weather. Julie and Tom were welcoming hosts, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and letting us know when something on the property would be occurring but not at all intrusive. All in all, this is a great house and we look forward to coming back to experience a different season!

It was incredibly welcoming when we arrived-- music was playing, fireplace was on, welcome sign, fresh flowers, cookies for us and water in the dog bowl. Julie and Tom are truly excellent hosts who are thoughtful about details. They explained the area to us, and helped us find places to store our boat with trailer and canoes. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to do-- we hiked, biked, sailed and canoed. All in all it was a terrific week. We highly recommend the area and the cottage!

Comfortable Cottage in the Woods
Staying at Cottage on High was lovely. The hosts clearly work hard to make guests comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The decor is charming, all systems worked great (hot water, heat), and the location is great. It's a short walk to the rail trail and lakes as well as downtown Wolfeboro. Julie, our host, checked in with us and made sure all was well. If you want a cheerful, quiet place that's close to amenities this is it.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was clean, had all that we needed. Towels, sheets plentiful. Everything worked. AC when it was needed. It was quiet, the neighbors were sweet. The property was large for our big dog. He loved it!

They thought of EVERYTHING!
What a welcome! When I arrived there was a nice message waiting for me, along with cut flowers, fresh-baked brownies, and a bowl of water for my dogs. That was only the start. Everything in the house is well thought out and wonderful quality. The pictures are great, but the actual cottage is even better. The home is at the end (top) of a street, so no cars go past. Beyond the property is a wooded area. At the bottom of the hill is the Cotton Valley Rail Trail and Crescent Lake. Great location. Wonderful spot!

Love staying at this cottage...it's never long enough! Comfortable, well decorated, beautiful gardens.. everything you could need even for our pups.

The cottage was super clean, well stocked and lovely!
I had a wonderful experience at the Cottage. Julie was super accommodating, friendly and helpful, and made our trip a delight. Winston (dog) was thrilled with all the doggie accommodations, and looks forward to returning. Clean, comfortable and even smelled delicious! Julie also left me some yummy baked goods. Overall, delightful visit!

Nice cottage
I spent the weekend here with some friends and it was a good time. Julie was great to deal with and the cottage had a nice layout and great yard. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the neighbors. Their dogs barked constantly and kids kept driving in circles infront of the house on ATVs for hours and even drove into the driveway a couple of times. Fortunately there is a gate at the end of the driveway you can close for some privacy. Overall we had a great time!

A Fun week in Wolfeboro!
The house and property are very spacious, neat, clean and fairly private. We had a good time with our dog Kalli. It is close to the trail for walking and/or biking. I highly recommend this cottage!

Beautiful, cozy perfectly situated cottage in lovely Wolfeboro! Felt like home!!!
Our stay in Wolfeboro was definitely made unforgettable by this beautiful cottage. Its so cozy, charming and fully suited for all our needs- kitchen appliances, linens, bath towels, beach towels, comfy beds, lovely details and decor, etc, etc! We were even greeted by a lovely surprise of treats upon our arrival! Julie and Tom are excellent hosts, they kept in touch throughout our stay offering to help with anything we needed.
The cottage is also set on an amazing & secluded piece of land, surrounded by lush trees- a cottage in the woods, just a short walk to a lovely lake- wow! Walking distance to town and yummy restaurants.
Our evenings by the firepit and porch were also unforgettable.
Highly recommended !!! We didn't want to leave!!! Thanks Julie & Tom!

Julie even had dog beds waiting for our boxers! The gated yard was perfect for the dogs. Our two oldest kids could take their bikes to the bike path to ride, and we all put in at the docks with our canoe/kayak. We walked into town for ice cream, spent our days at the beach and just had such a great week. We certainly hope to be back!

The house is exactly one mile to downtown via the rail trail and 1.2 miles to Albee beach via the rail trail. We used the trail everyday. Everything that you need is within a 1/2-1 mile distance.
This location is great for day trips to Meredith, Gunstock, Alton and everything that Conway has to offer as well as Portsmouth. Of course Wolfeboro has plenty to offer too.

The cottage is in a private setting that looks out to the woods. It was so peaceful sitting on the sofa looking out the picture window into the woods. Beds were comfortable. We felt right at home and welcomed by owners. Owners provided good communication from the inquiry till check-in and during our stay. The location is good because it is close to town, yet private. Loved the clawfoot bathtub. That was a real treat. We hope to be back to the cottage and the lovely Wolfeboro area again soon.

The "Cottage on High Street" is a lovely get-away for the vacationer who wants the comforts of home in a cozy, immaculate, and beautifully decorated cottage. This unique cottage reflects the owners' care and talents in wanting to make their tenants feel welcome - rare in today's world. We only wish we could have brought our son as he would have loved it! This well appointed cottage and yard surrounded by woods have a positive atmosphere that makes one feel relaxed and on vacation! It is near Winnipesaukee Lake and Wentworth Lake, both having beautiful public beaches. Within walking distance is the rail trail for biking and walking. There are numerous places for kayaking and hiking, and outstanding restaurants for hungry appetites. Nearby are a variety of shops and antique stores. We regretted the week went so quickly and hope we can return in the near future. This cottage would be ideal in any season!
