This 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite is the perfect getaway for a small family or group, and sleeps 7. This property features a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and sink, and also a front porch balcony! You will have access to our fully stocked outdoor kitchen/pavilion with plenty of outdoor seating. It has everything your family needs, like a gas grill, wood smoker pit, regular wood pit, 36" flat top griddle, open top grill, and all the pots, pans, utensils and kitchenware you need to cook an amazing outdoor meal for you and your family. There is plenty of seating in our outdoor pavilion with an 80" Smart TV for your entertainment. Forget your Netflix/Hulu login? We have DirecTV! Please remember that you will need sheets, pillowcases and towels. Don't want to bring all your sheets from home? We can provide them for a fee of $10/per bed! Quiet time is 10pm. Pets are allowed in this suite for a $75 fee. However, we do have some guidelines; 35lb maximum, non-aggressive breeds, non-shedding and must have prior approval from the owner. All of our properties are smoke-free. Signs and welcome booklets are available in this property. More information on rules, including a checklist and map will be emailed to you after booking. In 2022, Porter's Tree Haus will have its own private infinity pool on the riverview porch! One of our great features here at VacationFrioRiver is that we offer a complimentary tube shuttle service in our fully air-conditioned modified airport shuttle bus! We will gladly drop your party off at Seven Bluffs Crossing for a 2-3 hour float that-guess what- ends up right on our private riverfront! You'll be back in time for lunch! Last minute plans? Need more guest rooms? We also have smaller cottages and suites if you need some extra beds, just ask! We allow you to park right on the river's edge with your vehicle for tailgating and watching the thousands of folks float right past our private riverfront shore. Guests love our private river access! This keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of River Road, and only 200' away from your room! Expect southern hospitality here; our reviews speak for themselves! We had a great time we came with our three dogs and we spent most of the time in the river, it was pretty convenient to have an outdoor kitchen with gas stove and gas or charcoal grills everywhere, if you love to watch deer and their natural habitat this is the place to go! We're going to miss the sweet dog from the property owner🐶

It's was amazing staying off season, we had the whole place to our selves!

Beautiful and quiet the time of year we rented. Outdoor kitchen made life soooo much easier, excellent river front, loved having Sissy (the dog) and Jaime for company. The craftman’s ship & woodwork that Donny put into the property is an art of its own. The property is beautiful & accommodating, and the pool was an added bonus. My review is less than eloquent as I attempt writing it back in the real world with Chickens and children chasing me for snacks, but It is definitely a vacation I could do all over again!

This resort is really great! Private spot on the river is awesome. The common area is kind of outdoors but covered so it's great for the pandemic environment we are in. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family. My only note would be the room sleeps 7 which is great but it is small so I would only recommend that many people for like a family. Donny was awesome and gave lots of communication before arrival.

Perfect Frio Getaway!!!
We have been coming to the Frio for the last 12 years and this was our first time at Vacation Frio River. Donny and his staff were wonderful. Their river area was great and it was nice to have a shuttle on property to drop us off to tube. We loved our stay here and plan to come back.

New Frio Tradition
PERFECT! Our new tradition for Frio River trips! Donny was great at communicating effectively and quickly to any questions. All of his recommendations were spot on, he made his Home feel like our Home and as if we were one big Family! This property is so versatile and can serve many purposes and needs with so many options to accommodate any type of trip. The accommodations were clean and completely stocked with the usual things that takes an extra tote to bring. Tailgating on the river was so much fun and the swimming pool is a great added space for between floats. It is so nice and convenient to be able to either end a float at the property or start a float at the property and Josh was always awesome in picking us up or dropping us off as well as attending to anything we had questions about! I can’t say enough about the good people and the good place to stay! What I can say is I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Donny and Josh for a great experience at your Home which is now our Home at the Frio!

Family & pet friendly, lots of upgrades being put in place and great river access! Staff helpful and easy to reach. Only draw back - Wish the outdoor kitchen was accessible but the pool was under construction but near completion . It will be a great addition to the property.

Great Location
This property is a wonderful location on the Frio River. The property owner is very helpful and wants his guests to enjoy their time. He was gracious enough to allow our dog to stay with us in the room as well. We had evacuated for a hurricane to stay here. We stayed during the start of their off season, so it was quiet.

Fun Getaway
The manager is real personable. He promptly answers all texts and emails. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

We had an awesome time. The property is beautiful and Donny & Sid's hospitality and customer service are truly great! The Welcome basket with a bottle of Wine and snacks was a super nice surprise. Can't wait to go back. Recommend it 💯�% ☺

Frio River Paradise
A prime spot right on the river! It was very cool we parked our van right on the river and chilled out every day! His place has all the amenities you need and then some! We loved the outdoor kitchen plus our room had a fridge, sink and coffee maker. Very comfortable bed and cold A/C. Donny was a perfect host! We will certainly be back!

As with the first two times I have stayed with Donny, this stay was just as perfect. The new outdoor kitchen/hang out area is awesome and is where we spent alot of our time that wasn't at the river. I could go on and on, but I know you're tired of reading, so I'll sum it up in one word... Perfect.
