About this house rental
Situated in Granby, this charming house for $792 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to the Mountain House at Granby Ranch! This home is nestled on the east mountain of Ski Granby Ranch. This true ski-in ski-out home is located directly on the main ski hill accessing the Quick Draw Express chairlift. One of the only houses in the rental program with ski-in/ski-out access to the main base area meaning easier access to ski rentals, lift tickets, ski school, Granby Ranch Grill, and the base lodge and its amenities. The Mountain House was designed and furnished with vacationers in mind. With 5 bedrooms plus a loft, the sleeping capacity is 14-16 depending on the mix of adults and children. The house is perfect for multiple families, extended family vacations, or for families that like to spread out and enjoy extra space. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture, luxurious linens and towels, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, hardwood floors, dining table that extends to seat 12, three separate living levels for privacy and space, office area in the loft, 4 flat screen TVs, a gas fireplace, game table with pool/air hockey, Xbox One and games, train table and accessories, 2 pack and play portable cribs, 2 high chairs, and stools for the bathrooms, outdoor deck with gas grill, books, movies, games, and toys. There is a heated, locked ski valet on the front porch for ski/winter equipment, and golf clubs. The views of the mountains are spectacular from every side of the house. As guests of the Mountain House you will also have access to Ranch Hall at the base of Granby Ranch. There you can enjoy an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, restrooms, and changing facilities. Granby Ranch has instituted a new policy for renters using the pool and hot tub at the base lodge beginning May 1st, 2021. Renters are required to pay $10 per person per day for access to Ranch Hall. Payment is made at Ranch Hall with a credit card and renters will be given a guest pass that is good for that entire day. Ski Granby Ranch is the perfect ski resort specializing in families learning to ski and offers short lift lines, non-crowded runs, and peace of mind that your children are always close by, yet big enough to have all types of ski terrain and attract mountain bike national events. Ski Granby Ranch offers night skiing most Friday and Saturday nights. Granby Ranch not only offers exceptional winter activities. Being a year round resort, it offers golfing at Headwaters Golf Course with 18 holes incorporating mountains, wetlands, trees and meadows. Adjacent to the golf course, Granby Ranch offers private fly fishing access or you can enjoy Colorado catch and release fishing just a few miles up the Fraser River. During the summer, Granby Ranch turns into a mountain biking mecca, with trails for beginner, intermediate, and advanced downhill mountain bikers with bike rental on property. Outside of the many resort amenities you are only 15 minutes to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and YMCA Camp of the Rockies with horseback riding and zip line. Grand Lake to the north is the snowmobiling capital of Colorado. Granby Ranch is close to white water rafting, kayaking and fishing on the Upper Colorado River and Winter Park is 20 minutes away for big mountain skiing, summer concerts and craft fairs. This was the most well-outfitted and well arranged home I have stayed in. It was easy for 16 of us to be comfortable and the kitchen was generously furnished with equipment and dinnerware. The house is attractive, well-situated, nicely furnished. The hosts were very responsive. We couldn't have asked for more.

It was a spontaneous decision to head to Granby for the weekend! We found the perfect house to share with friends and family! Perfect location! Quiet. Right on the mountain. Spacious, comfortable, clean, kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy! Nice balcony off the kitchen to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine! The owners/property managers were attentive, communicative and gracious! The stars at night were magnificent! A perfect place for our getaway during the summer. This house would also be perfect during ski season! It was a great weekend! Everyone had the best time! We will be back!

We brought our extended family together in Granby Ranch, after not all being together in at least 15 years! It was one of the most heart warming, healing, bonding things we've been able to do in so long after several years of loss and hardship amongst our family. Thank you!

We had a great time at this amazing home. The location for ski in /ski out was great. The house was plenty big for 3 families to share. It was clean and very well stocked with everything you would need and more. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay another night. We will be back next time we are in the area. Owners were great to work with and very friendly.

Our family of sixteen, eight adults and eight children, were very comfortable in this house. The owners provided everything you could need for a variety of ages. The beds were comfortable and there were even a couple of extra mattresses which we used for the kids. There were a variety of activities available downstairs. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was by far the most well stocked one that we've encountered. I appreciated that they provided an inventory of kitchen items with their information. The kitchen table was huge and could seat lots of people by pulling up the extra bench. This was truly a ski in and out property. The kids enjoyed being able to take a break and eat lunch at the house. There was a nice big heated ski closet which we appreciated. When we had a couple of questions the owners were easy to contact by phone and they were very helpful and courteous! We hope to be able to stay in this home again!!!

We had a wonderful stay here. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 plus my dad. The place was clean and well-stocked with items like trash bags, toilet paper, and kitchen items. We loved the location for skiing. Some houses looked like you’d have to walk along the street to get home. This one you can walk out the basement door and just walk past one backyard and you’re on the slope. (Just a note—you come out on a blue slope. If you’re new to skiing, you may want to drive to the base to start instead of trying to ski right down the blue slope the house is located next to). We had an amazing time and highly recommend this house and location!

Wow, wow, wow! Been going to granby for several yrs and stayed in several different houses/condos. This property is by far the best we have ever stayed at! We had 10 people and had tons of room! A true ski in/ski out property just steps away from the slope! Property owners great to work with!! We will for sure be back!!

The home had everything the 12 of us needed for a weekend stay. The home was awesome, the location great for a mountain golf outing, and convenience to stores (City Market, etc) was great., and the kitchen was great for making meals for 12. The homeowners were easy to communicate with and immediately responded to any question or comment we had. If the scale was 10, this home would be an eleven.

They had sound machines in every room - such a nice touch. We LOVED the big kitchen table for all our meals together and games in the evening. The main living area was very open so everyone could be together. It is literally right off the main ski run and so convenient. We were able to come and go and eat all our meals at the house. Beds and bedding were very comfortable throughout the home. The washer and dryer was nice to have and they have everything needed in the kitchen - spices, baggies, trash bags, etc. The owners always responded immediately. The only thing we didn't like was the master bed and bathroom didn't have a door and the shower was completely see through. I would suggest maybe a pocket door or even a curtain between the two rooms. Other than that it was AMAZING and we will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with us!

the property was great. Spacious, well appointed and the rec. center was adequate. The workout facility was old but functional and the kids loved the heated pool. the staff was very friendly. The drive in from the highway was longer than we anticipated and made any trips outside the area difficult.

The house was exactly as described- it is a beautiful house in an amazing location and the owners have created a wonderful space for families of all ages to gather. It is well stocked with ample space for everyone and they have made every effort to provide anything a family would need for down time when you are not outdoors - puzzles, movies, game table…

The house was exactly as described- it is a beautiful house in an amazing location and the owners have created a wonderful space for families of all ages to gather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 2 families and 4 kids ranging in 8-15. The kiddos enjoyed the games and pool table downstairs and the adults enjoyed the upstairs kitchen / living area. It was nice for the kids to have their own space. We could not have asked for a better skiing location. It was such a convenient home to the slopes. We literally skied from the back door to the slopes and back. It was great for a quick bathroom break or lunch. We will definitely stay again!
