About this cottage rental
Nestled in Nisswa, this charming cottage for $554 per night is a great option for your next break. Located on Lower Cullen Lake in Northern Minnesota, this property has two + bedrooms that can sleep 6+ people and was completely remodeled in 2014! We are under 3 hours from the twin cities, offering a private and quiet get away, but also close to the action—should YOU decide you want to participate! We’re 10 minutes from Brainerd international raceway, and Pirate's Cove mini golf and go carts. 5 minutes from several golf courses, 2 minutes from shopping and a walk out the front door to fish or swim! Nisswa MN is THE destination. We are 2 miles from the center of town so you can walk, bike or drive to town! Lots of shopping, places to eat and the home of Stonehouse Coffee and Roastery! You’ll have the best cup of coffee ever with a scone they make daily—if you like coffee, you won’t leave without buying a pound of their coffee they roast on premise! Don’t miss Wednesday afternoons in town when the turtle races begin at 2:00! Didn’t catch your own turtle—not a problem, they’ll have one for you to rent, and name it “Eddie”, we’ve won many races with turtles we’ve dubbed with that name! Romance, relaxation or family fun, this is the place for you. Many honeymoons have been celebrated here as well as 4th of July family fun—which of course, happens all summer long! Public water access on Lower Cullen will allow you to bring your boat and park it at the private dock. Don’t own a boat? Not a problem! Dave’s Sportland in Nisswa has all types of boats and jet ski’s available for rent. The master bedroom has a full sized bed and a bathroom attached. The guest bedroom also features a full sized bed. The backroom has a queen sized pull out couch. There is also a bunk house, that will accommodate up to three additional people. Satellite TV and wireless internet connection are available. Basketball court and putting green on property.

Lovely Lake Vacation
This property was a dream. Loved the clear lake and sandy beach. Fun times had with swimming and bonfires. The view from the deck and living room was beautiful. Great place to catch sunsets as we heard the loons. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Well stocked kitchen. There was AC, though we didn’t need it. Would for sure rent this property again. Thanks for all the great memories!

Nicely equipped cottage, comfortable furniture, enjoyed the fireplace. Kids loved the beach and we all enjoyed having a loon so close to the dock. Fishing for pan fish from the boat was fun for everyone, catching one after another. Very nice lot and trees and the bunkhouse was a nice bonus.

Lower Cullen Lake was clear and actually warm! The back yard was flat, nice and area was quiet. We enjoyed the sunsets each night and bonfires near the lake. The beds were amazingly comfortable! The fridge and stove were huge but we used the outside grill for most of our cooking. We enjoyed daily walks along the road and shopping in Nisswa which is very close! Big Axe brewing company was fun as well.
Easily recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a clean, quiet getaway with easy access to town amenities and water recreation!

Adorable lake cottage in town
We bounced over after staying at Grandview for a few days. Love the location of this home on the lake near the enchanted channel. The hospitality touches in the home were very special and unlike any other place I’ve stayed!

Beautiful cabin on peaceful lake
This cabin is absolutely perfect!! The yard is great for playing games and running into the water. The lake is very shallow with a soft bottom so it’s wonderful for wading in. The cabin itself is so cute and a perfect home base after a day on the lake or in Nisswa. Would definitely come again!!

Sisters weekend getaway
Really cute cabin perfect for our sisters weekend getaway. Right on the lake front with Fall colors starting to change. So pretty! The fireplace lakeside living room was our favorite hangout. Had a glitch with TV but we just rented movies instead which was perfect. Mary was easy to work with and attentive to any questions. Great place!

We loved our stay at this cottage. The property is absolutely beautiful. The lake is great for swimming and fishing. We would definitely stay here again.

Cottage Fun
This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. If our kids weren't fishing or swimming they were in the back putting on the green or shooting hoops. The property is nicely maintained with plenty of shade for the hot days. The beach and swimming area had nice sand and was very kid friendly. The cottage location on the lake was great because you are very close to the channel connecting Lower Cullen Lake to Middle Cullen Lake which was great for more kayaking opportunities. Middle Cullen Lake was great for sunrise paddles! This cottage is only 2.5 miles away from Nisswa and 10 minutes away from Gull Lake. Overall this cottage really is charming and it was a fun place to stay and play.

Perfect little cottage for a weekend away!
We had a great time at the cottage. Lovely lakefront with amazing sunset views. Only issue we had were the doors, most of them did not close including the bathrooms.
Other than that small detail I’d definitely return for another weekend away!

Terrific cottage and location!
Lovely cottage with quite a bit of room. Lovely back living room overlooking the lake. Very accommodating owner who really took care of having what we would need (towels etc.). Kindly left us s'more fixings. Very comfortable foam mattresses.

This cottage had everything we could have wanted. Beautiful lake views, calm sandy beach for the kids to play in, spacious yard, putting green, basketball hoop, beautiful deck and firepit. Inside was cute and comfortable. Excellent stay, we would definitely stay here again!
