About this condo rental
Nestled in Edgewater, this charming condo for $433 per night is a great choice for your next break. Welcome to New Smyrna Beach, Florida's most friendly and quaint beach town. Moontide is New Smyrna Beach's best vacation value. Our non smoking 'beach cottage' is located on the Prime Location top (5th) floor of the prestigious 'A' building, which is right on the beach, and features a large 30 foot wide totally private balcony with unobstructed views up and down the entire beach. Our condo is perched right up against the sea wall. You can't get more direct oceanfront than this. It is located on the preferred safe, secure 'no drive' beach. Our 'beach cottage' has been completely renovated, with all new flooring, kitchen cabinets, Kitchen and laundry room appliances, tiled walk in showers, dining room, living room and bedroom furnishings, 60' 'smart' HDTV, all new kitchen flatware. Really, everything is brand new, and absolutely first class top quality. The balcony features numerous seating options to enjoy the beach's sights and sound; Imagine breathtaking painted sunrises, and moonlit evenings as you reflect on the day's memories; walks and bike rides along the beach, sitting out under the beach tent, watching the Dolphin swim along the shore, or the Pelicans drifting along the ever present sea breeze . The balcony and its panoramic views is open to both the master bedroom, which features a beautiful King sized bed, as well as an open living room, which features a 60 inch 'smart' HDTV, and seating for beach gazing. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed, and also has a comfortable 'hide-a-mat' twin bed, as well as a 55' HDTV. There is the capability of free Netflix streaming on all TVs. We also have a free Amazon Fire Stick for expanded viewing options. A fully stocked kitchen allows for eating in, or take advantage of the numerous local restaurants. Owners offer you the use of their selection of beach towels, tents, and umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach cart. Moontide has a heated pool just steps away, private secured covered garage parking, and private tennis courts. There is a brand new washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Free high speed internet WiFi service, and free local and long distance telephone service to U.S, Canada, and P.R.

Despite the terrible mid-November weather (windy, rainy, flooding) we enjoyed our stay and the marvelous view. Couldn't imagine a better place to be stuck inside for a six days.

The location and property exceeded our expectations and was well appointed with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to insure we had a great experience. We have already referred this property to our friends and relatives and hope it is available the next time we travel to NSB.

Mostly what there is to do in NSB is well ..to relax and enjoy the gorgeous beach! Moontide A502 is the place to do exactly that - and there are options. When you first arrive at the condo you’ll see the fabulous ocean views from your own private 5th floor balcony. We found some local coffee at Island Roasters and enjoyed that while watching the sunrise every morning… which, according to me, is a perfect start to any beach day! The building itself is just a few steps from the sand and surf- and every beach accessory you could want is provided. There’s also a heated rooftop pool, a great place for swimming or laying out, and here again it faces the ocean, and the view up there is incredible.. The condo itself is very comfortable, we enjoyed our time here.

Well maintained beach front condominium. Cars prohibited on this stretch of beach which means comfort and security. Many owner provided amenities including chairs, umbrellas, and bikes.

The property is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you could ask for. They provide Plenty of beach items, and you have a front row seat to beautiful New Smyrna Beach. The property owners were very responsive and give detailed instructions to the condo. Enjoy! We hope to return…

Every summer NSB has been our go to and this year our stay at Moontide (A 502) did not disappoint. Great location, amazing beach views and the most enjoyable sunrise. The condo was clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend.

5 stars all the way! This 2 bedroom top floor beachfront condo is tastefully decorated and has a warm cozy feel with up to date appliances, tvs and bathrooms. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped for cooking. The owner provides lots of detailed information and is easily accessible and really wants your stay to go well. And the view is spectacular! We will be returning.

A place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. That’s what my family look for when we search for somewhere to vacation. Bob and Debbie’s place delivers on all counts. As soon as we entered the condo and saw the beautiful view of the beach (literally from one step inside the door) we knew we’d accomplish our 3 R objectives. It only got better from there. We dropped our luggage, grabbed a drink and immediately headed for the expansive balcony. From there you can look way up and down the beach without giving up any privacy from others above, below or to the side.
There is nothing like a place that has everything you need…
-very comfortable furniture with plenty of seating in the living room as well as dining area. Very well decorated (being a history buff my wife’s favorite was Lewis and Clark expedition chair)
-a well outfitted kitchen with a great selection of cookware and nice appliances
-plenty of towels (beach and bath) and extremely comfortable mattresses (a must for me – I don’t sleep well on the road)
-many games you can play inside and out (had great fun with the Boccie ball set and Bananagrams)
with great books and puzzles as well
-free Netflix for the downtime between trips to the beach
-2 beach bikes (that are free to use) and 2 electric bikes (if you’d like to rent them). Between the beach and bike paths inland there are plenty of places to explore.
-a nice large rooftop heated pool that is literally steps away. This was so well heated that we were able to swim even on one of the coolest day we were there (yeah...we were there for record-breaking “low” temps during Christmas ‘22).
-well-equipped exercise room also steps away.
-very secure garage equipped with luggage and grocery carriers to make move in and move out a piece of cake.
Bob and Debbie’s emails before our stay were extremely informative and when I had a question during our stay he responded within an hour via email...and immediately via text/call. Moontide also has a staff that can also help you with anything you need. They were very nice.
All in all...we got our 3 R’s worth and more! Thanks for gracious hospitality Bob and Debbie! We’ll definitely be back.

From the first view of the Moontide condo online and then interacting with Bob/Deb they were amazing with info and totally helpful. The condo is done and decorated to perfection, very comfortable, well appointed every amenity anyone could ask for. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely beachfront condo. Bob and Debbie are excellent hosts. They were very kind, helpful and thoughtful in all of our communications — even tailoring recommendations to our schedule and interests! The comfortable furniture, in-unit laundry and unbeatable view also made for a great stay. While we weren't traveling with children, we think families will appreciate Bob and Debbie's beach gear and the family-friendly atmosphere of the complex.

New Smyrna Beach condo rental- WONDERFUL!
I have used VRBO to rent many properties both nationally and internationally. This is by far the best owner experience I have had. The owners communicated regularly with me prior to my arrival and checked up frequently while we were in the unit. The unit is located right on the beach with wonderful panoramic views from the terrace. It was very clean and well supplied with appropriate cooking and eating items. I highly recommend this unit to those who are thinking about visiting New Smyrna Beach. If possible, I would have given more than a 5-star review.
