El sitio es maravilloso, la posada muy acogedora, la habitación amplia y súper limpio todo, pero por sobre todo eso, la atención de Gema y Jose, vaya par de anfitriones increíbles.

La decoración, la comodidad, los dueños muy amables tanto José como Gema, la ubicación para ver lugares de interés.
Yo pondría una cafetera tipo nexpresso ya que echamos un poco en falta eso

Lo más especial, sin duda, el trato. Los anfitriones cuidan todo al detalle, tanto a nivel personal como de las instalaciones. Lugar muy acogedor y limpísimo. Se trata de una posada ubicada en un lugar apartado de ensueño, con excelentes vistas. A pesar de tratarse de un lugar apartado, no hay problema en llegar a cualquier sitio. El desayuno es increíble, todo cuidado al detalle. Muchas gracias por todo, volveremos sin duda!

The location was beautiful and super calm. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We asked if we could have breakfast earlier than the usual hours. They made sure to leave coffee, pastries, and other things in the dining room for us to choose from in the morning. They also gave us great recommendations about the area.

A convenient distance to Santander ready for our ferry home the following day. Close to the little bay which we visited before driving to Santander and close to Santillana.
The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the wail of a cow at dawn the following morning as though it was in a lot of pain/being killed. It woke us both up.

Friendly welcome and service despite our limited Spanish language. peaceful location. very clean and maintained.
Uncovered walk to breakfast facilities which might be unwelcome in heavy rain - but very minor concern.

We stayed at la Posada for one night on our way to Los Picos. Right from the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the host and shown around the place. La Posada is a beautiful building with a lovely combination of wood (beams) and stone, full of flowers and colours. The room was impeccable, with beautiful wooden shutters and two-piece front door. The breakfast served was of good quality, with a choice of sweet pastries, bread, cheese, hams and yoghurt, as well as fruit, orange juice and coffee/tea. The hosts were always smiling and very helpful. José recommended an amazing restaurant in Suances where we had the best seafood and fish in our lives. Couldn't recommend more! ¡Gracias!

The building is beautiful, the personnel really polite and nice and the location is perfect.
There was a kind of emergency light in the room and I couldn't rest perfectly well.

Breakfast was served only between 9.30 and 10.30 so we did not get to eat it - as too late to get started with our day. Disappointed about the timing.
Owners and managers spoke no English, so my request to check in at 3pm was denied, then when we called them from the road to check on what time to come, with our mediocre Spanish, we understood we didn't have a room - which was actually not the case - we did have a room. But it was stressful. Also, the owners and managers were nowhere to be found when we needed to check out at 8am, so could not pay for our room and can only presume they collected payment through Booking.com
