Bedroom 1 has one king and one queen bed, bedroom 2 has 1 queen and 1 full. Queen size blowup on request. 3 full rooms bathrooms , and an open walk-through bedroom / sitting room . Plenty of spacious closets , washer and dryer for our guests convenience . Fully functional kitchen with Plenty of cooking and dining utensils .3 large flatscreen TVs with fire stick including Sports & movie channels .This home also has a wraparound covered porch and an outdoor fire pit for campfires . This property is located walking distance from beautiful Grand Marais. There are plenty of activities and shopping for every type of visitor In Grand Marais. Hiking ,fishing ,boating ,shopping , Beautiful beaches ,pictured rocks , ATVs and snowmobiling are just a few things that can be had in Grand Marais. Fall color tours, waterfalls , pictured Rocks. We do not allow pets or smoking on this property . Guests must move their trash to the onsite container upon leaving.

We had a great time in Grand Marais. Our house was big and comfortable! The beds are very comfortable for a good night sleep! The kitchen has everything you need and there are plenty of sitting spaces. I would say you would enjoy this house if you rent it! Nice to be so close to town.

Overall, we had a good stay at this property, though with a couple of hiccups.
Things I would want future guests to know:
*bring chairs and small table if you want to use porch
*bring extra tp
*bring towels, listing says provided but small print says no
*know that the owner does watch through cameras out front
Not that it matters but id recommend taking down seasonal decor but overall the property was very clean.
Lastly, We booked this property for a last minute trip with family, about 3 weeks beforehand.
When we pulled into the property with my sister's family we had 3 cars. After unloading the vehicles and sitting down to relax I started receiving messages from the owner that felt very accusatory about us having so many cars and way more people than I told them about. It very much felt he was coming at me, apparently he is watching you in the driveway area. I never noticed anything that said over 6 people was addtl fee, and I can't understand what it is for. But we had to pay another fee for having 7. Then we're asked for it continuously until I processed the payment online. We were very quiet and not trying to scam anyone.
Then the neighbor came and yelled at us for gettting the grass in front dusty driving the ATv down the road, while they drove early morning to late nights super loud and obnoxiously.
I can see why it would be a great place for snowmobilers

Always love Grand Marais but the house and the location just made it a little more special. Very clean, good location and as always Grand Marais charm.

Good spot for snowmobiling!
Nice clean rental. We could not park our large snowmobile trailer in the driveway. Luckily we found a storage facility down the road which was no big deal.

The house was very nice and met every expectation we had. Plenty of room bedrooms are nice and bathrooms were great. Kitchen is well equipped and living room is very comfy. Plenty of parking for trailers. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thanks Dave.

Snowmobile trip
Awesome place to stay if you’re riding in the Grand Marais area. Close to food, fuel and trails. Very easy communication with owner of the property, nice guy.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Grand Marais. The log home was very clean and nice with plenty of room. Our host was very prompt about questions before our arrival. The only missing thing I would change is to have a few chairs out on that beautiful wrap around porch to enjoy it.

What a town!
Beautiful home with all of the amenities! Short walk to the AMAZING town of Grand Marais! Perfect town for catching a sunset over Lake Superior, going to the beach, or venturing off to the countless places to see in The UP! Definitely would come back and stay here again!

Perfect getaway!
The house was perfect! Convenient location, clean, clean, clean and the most comfortable mattress’ ever! Dave could not have been more friendly or responsive. Absolutely everything we needed!

UP Vacation
The house was pleasant and clean. Very easy to cook with pots & pans as well as the grill since few restaurants were open due to COVID. Delightful house for a relaxing vacation!

Property was lovely. Whole family had a great time. Everyone commented on how much they liked the place we were staying. Great location to the Eastern side of Picture Rocks National Lakeshore. Looking forward to a return trip

Winter Wonderland
We had an amazing time last week at this beautiful cabin on the outskirts of Grand Marais! Perfect location and size for our group of 6, very spacious and accommodating!

Good place but the up stairs room we could not keep warm easy and the heat went back down to 50 when we were out sledding. Waa one of the more expensive choices and if the heat were to be enhanced Its a perfect place to stay. Great town its in but be sure to respect the neighbors as not everyone gets along I gather.

Beautiful cabin/location
Very nice, clean comfy cabin. Location was awesome for snowmobiling, food, gas etc. I have zero complaints. The homeowner was awesome to work with. We will definitely be returning to stay at this home.

Snowmobiling Trip with friends
My wife and I always travel with another couple when we come here and have stayed in several places. This one tops them all. Loved having the garage come in and get out of our gear as well as the wonderful kitchen to prepare our own food. We will definitely come back to this place.
