The location is on the out skirts of town - at night the roads are dark and winding. The mattress needs replacing because it beginning to taco's in the middle. Oven heats up very slow, shower curtain and liner is way to long and needs to be hemmed.
This is a 2nd story garage apartment, so if you are over 5'10" you may want to reconsider bc the ceiling in the bathroom is short. It was very clean and well supplied, water pressure is good. The owner should put some shims of some sort under the desk to keep the drawer closed, due to the slanting of the floor.
These are the reasons we gave it 3 stars.

Great stay in a quaint neighborhood. Hosts were very friendly and Beauregard (the family dog) was the best! Loved giving him plenty of belly rubs.

My husband and I had auch a wonderful time at this adorable private hideaway. The property and accommodation were perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back to Asheville, and staying here again!

This place was exactly as it was listed. Cozy and well stocked. My husband and I were visiting our son and his family in Asheville. It was so nice to be able to come back to this cozy little spot in the country every evening and enjoy the sunsets over the mountains. The price is amazing and the place was very comfortable. We hope to be able to book with William and Vichie' again. They were so welcoming and kind. If you are looking for a small, cozy spot with beautiful views, then this is the place for you.

We stopped in Asheville for the night on our way to South Carolina. The place was great. The owners where there if you needed them but gave us our space. Would highly recommend.

If you want peace and quiet after a long day of hiking or site seeing, this place is for you. It is in the country with beautiful views of the mountains in the distant. The house is small but perfect for a couple. Very clean. The kitchen was well arranged with pots, pans, utensils and dinnerware. The owners responded quickly to any questions or requests.

Thank you for a wonderful place to relax and unwind. I enjoyed birdwatching every morning as I sipped my coffee and the peaceful evenings. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft, which made for great sleep. The kitchen was well equipped for a simple meal in the evening and the reclining couch was super after a day filled with hiking to watch TV. I would stay again if I were in the area again. Super easy to get to.

This is a cozy apartment on a quiet road tucked up on a hill; so peaceful. My husband and I had a great time getting away and visiting our son and his partner, and being able to come back to this lovely spot and chill out. William and Viche are very helpful, and I appreciate their patience with us when we were fixing a payment issue. Thank you again! God Bless.

We loved the more rural location and quietness of the road we stayed on. Our little bungalow had more than enough for my husband and I to enjoy 4 very peaceful nights here. Will and Visché were very considerate of all our needs.

A cozy, comfortable, exceptionally clean and well cared for apartment with a great view of the mountains and sky when standing in the owner’s front yard; 15 minutes from Asheville. It’s small but fully equipped kitchen, well organized rooms, and very comfortable bed. The owners are easy to access and responsive.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary in seclusion. This was the perfect spot. Outdoor seating with tiki lights on the porch was a wonderful touch for late night conversations. Everything we needed was within the residence. The host were great and were available to interact when desired, but stayed to themselves when that was desired as well. They offered great suggestions for restaurants and hosted a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again.

Home Away From Home
My husband and I came to came to Candler after attending our grandson's wedding in Nashville, as we wanted to ride our Harley trike through the Blue Ridge mountains. We found the VRBO just as advertised. It was very clean, quiet and inviting. The owners were very helpful with making arrangements for parking for our truck, trailer and trike. The VRBO was relaxing and felt like home. The area is beautiful with much to do.

GREAT SETTING
VICHE' WAS WONDERFUL & AVAILABLE IF NEEDED. THE ACCOMMODATIONS WERE EXCELLENT IN PROVIDING ALL THE NEEDED AMNENITIES. QUIET SETTING AT THE END OF A ROAD. EXCELLENT ACCESS TO ASHEV ILLE'S DOWNTOWN AND OTHER SITES.

The bed was comfortable and we LOVED how quiet it was at night! The only comment I would make is, for us, the lighting was a bit lacking. Maybe we're just getting old, but it was a bit dim, especially in the kitchen area. Overall, this is a nice place to stay.
