Welcome to the Highland House! This beautiful 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the south end of St. Simons Island and is just 1 mile to the beach and the St. Simons Pier Village Area. From the moment you walk in the front door, you will feel as though you are at your home away from home. The primary suite features a queen size bed with a quaint en suite primary bath and a wonderful walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms which have a queen-size bed in one bedroom and two twin-size beds in the other guest bedroom share a hall bathroom with a bathtub. Out the back door, guests will find an oversized back porch with tons of room to grill on the new gas grill, enjoy meals at the dining table for six or just to relax after a long day at the beach. The fully-fenced back yard offers tons of privacy. This wonderful home is sure to make your visit to St. Simons Island one to remember and leave you wanting to come back! Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $30/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours! Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (7 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted. We loved our stay at Highland House. The house was immaculate, the location was central to everything we did. If we come back to St. Simons, we would definately rent this house again.

We love Saint Simons Island and have returned for our annual family vacation for nearly 15 years. This property enhanced our 2023 getaway. The management company and VRBO made finding this property, check in and check out seamless. The management company was very responsive to our every need. The home was spotless, just as advertised. There were even a few extras we did not anticipate, like real ground coffee for our first few mornings, very nice dish-ware (Royal Daulton), well over a hundred DVD’s and much more. Plenty of sheets and comforters for the comfy beds, plenty of towels and face cloths. Each room is tastefully decorated. Lots of hot water and great water pressure for our after beach day showers. We were well pleased. Thank you!

This house is everything it said it would be! The house was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you'll need for a stay filled with peace and relaxation! It was a great location to island hop between Saint Simons and Jekyll. The house is close to restaurants and shopping, including a grocery store that's not even five minutes away. Just what we needed and definitely would rebook this house again!!

We loved our stay here! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, as we did some cooking as well as eating out. Everything was comfortable, but we especially enjoyed eating meals at the table on the back patio and reading in the light-filled living room. The property management team was very helpful and prompt in responding to our questions. The location was perfect for easily accessing the beach, Pier Village, and the shops at Redfern Village. We had a wonderful time!

The house suited our needs very well. Great location and quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the large refrigerator with the ice maker, the new washer and dryer, and the beautiful large walk-in shower in the main bedroom suite. Our vacation was very enjoyable!

The only issue we had was our things being moved when we were out of the house. I would had preferred if the owner was going to be at the house during our stay that they would have texted or called first.

The house was immaculate. Very well equipped kitchen with all the necessary equipment. It was nice having 2 full bathrooms with plush towels and shampoo, conditioner dispensers. The house was cozy and nicely decorated. We had access to the full house and back yard. The bonus TV room has surround sound and an extensive collection of DVD's.
Great location close to restaurants, shops and the beach.
It was nice to be able to hose off sand with the garden hose set up by the front door.

Came there for a girlfriend’s getaway and it was that and more. All the beds were comfortable. Lol I know because I took a nap in all of them. The location was great and we will return 🥰

Fantastic Higland House
This is a well decorated home and great location. Only a few minutes ride to the beach, Lighthouse, groocery store and restaurants. The Kitchen was very well equipped. Only needs tall 16-20 oz glasses. We loved the blue color coordination throughout the house. Lots of extra linen. And we were blown away by the huge first aid kit in the master bathroom area. Wow!! It actually came in handy for a cut.
The internet was spotty and the TV cable did not work in the main area. The realtor attempted to fix it throughout our stay but was unable to get it. The den was a life saver.
We would highly recommend this home and would stay there again if in the area.

This house had everything you need for a great beach visit. It is an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked to do any cooking you'd like. It is very clean and comfortable. I hope to stay again soon!

The extra room was great for our Pastor to retrieve and study alone; outdoors was an awesome place to relax! the kitchen was everything we needed to prepare meals. This is a wonderful vacation home enjoyed every minute will rent again.

Visiting SSI is always a wonderful family experience. This was our first time at Highland House, and it was a great place to stay. There were 6 of us ranging from 3 to 66, and we all had a blast! The house has plenty of room for family meals and fun. Three TVs were plenty and loved by all as were the board games and overall time away. The house is in a good middle, quiet location. Neighbors are very friendly, and well…we just wanted to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!
