Please join us in the much anticipated opening of one of the first newly completed houses after Hurricane Ian. There has been much buzz around the Island about the “Jefferson Street House” and we can see why! From the custom tiled porches (with amazing gulf views), craftsman trim throughout, beautifully tiled baths, custom kitchen, elevator and newly refinished pool with large paver deck, you will love being one of the first lucky families to stay at “The Jefferson Street House”. This beautiful house was just completed in April 2024 and will be available as a model home (for the builder) until the end of November. After which time, the proud owners will be staying for 2 months and preparing it with every possible amenity that one could want for their beach vacation house. The top floor will have a plush King Size Bed, small desk space, Smart TV, private deck with amazing gulf views, large ensuite master bath with a huge walk in custom shower and duo vanity. The top floor is completed with a laundry room and elevator access. The middle floor has a custom tiled full hall bath with shower / tub combo, a bedroom with a king bed and smart TV and a bedroom with two twin beds. Large kitchen with center Island outfitted for the most discerning chef. Dining area and living room with smart TV and elevator access. This floor also boasts a custom tiled deck (with gulf views), outside dining table (for 6) and outside steps to the pool deck. The ground floor has parking for 3 (one in a covered car port) and two in the driveways, a locked guest closet – outfitted with beach chairs and provides a safe place for guests to store beach bikes, coolers, and anything else that you bring for the beach. Large, covered lanai will have comfortable outside furniture, fun lighting and smart TV, and a huge pool patio that will have sun loungers, cornhole boards, tables and chairs. Inside you will find a dry entry foyer with elevator access. The Jefferson Street house is located just a few houses away from the beach and about a mile to “downtown”. It is an easy walk or bike ride to get to the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars by Times Square, but also provides a quiet beach to enjoy. With every detail thought through with our guests’ comfort in mind and all brand new appliances and furnishings, this is the “it” house on Fort Myers Beach. Smoking - not allowed

This home was/is absolutely beautiful. Owners really have taken care of the property. I personally think it's the best home on the block. The pool and jacuzzi were an extra bonus, so refreshing after a day at the beach, which is minutes away. Owners were so quick to response and handled a small billing issues, it was professionally handled (and it was a Sunday)we were so impressed with their attention to making sure everything was great. We are definitely booking this home again in the future. Thank you again Sea Gypsy for sharing your home. FANTASTIC .. :)

Good location
Nice place, short walk to beach and about a six block walk to the Tram to go to Times Square. Pool and hot tub were great.
Bed and couches were extremely uncomfortable. Stayed for two weeks and bought a mattress topper and my back is in so much pain. Cleaning before hand and as bad. Found things from the previous occupants lying on the carpet which if it had been vacuumed would not have been there along with other things. Hot tub guy does not know how to take care of a hot tub. He puts so much chlorine in your skin hurts after getting out.
For these reasons we would not stay again

Trip with Parents
Everyone had a lovely time. The house, albeit on the smaller side, is split up nicely for two couples. A great setup for gathering as a group, but when you prefer privacy, it's situated nicely for that as well. Very nicely arranged for a short getaway.

We had an issue with the A/C but the property manager did everything to make things right and it was fixed quickly! House is super cute. Everything you need. Pool was a little cool, but it did rain. Great location. Thank you for opening your home!

The property is what the pictures show. There were a couple maintenance issues that were resolved. The negative about the property is that the furnishings are ‘tired.’ It could be a nice rental with some TLC!

Family Beach Reunion
What a pleasant stay! So many extra unexpected things that made our stay amazing! It was so cozy, enough room for our family to stop by for dinner and pool was great! We loved having coffee & filters upon arrival, enough TP, laundry/dishwash detergent and seasonings in the kitchen! The only things we wish were better were the soft soap was watered down badly at the sinks, the bbq just needs to be replaced and the screen fixed by the pool.

We were surprised that the pool really was heated. It is a lovely house, comfortable, well equipped kitchen. Multiple tvs, we got to binge watch star trek. Beach access is 2 blocks away. I believe the house is set up for wheelchair access.

Nice beach home
We had a very nice stay. The cute beach home is just steps from the beach access. It is located in a 1950's typical beach community with older homes that are gradually being renovated to bright colored adorable beach houses. Many are vacation rentals. This made for an interesting walk around the neighborhood.
The only complaint we had was the gas can for the grill ran out of gas and the replacement can was also empty. Some maintenance needs to be done. The outdoor speakers were not working and looks like they have not been working as there were notes to not turn it on. Some of the pool toys were deflated and old. These needed to be removed and/or replaced.
The place was clean and comfortable. We felt very safe in this quiet neighborhood. Just needed a little attention to details. Otherwise great place and we would return.

great house.
this was a great home in a great location. short walk to beach but not to restaurants. The pool should have been cleaned before the arrival of new guests and not afterwards. I know this is a pet friendly home but they jets were not working due the filter was full of dog hair. We told the pool guy that and after he changed filter, it worked great. There was also some dog hair on furniture and blankets. The outdoor speaker did not work and there was a note on it from previous guests but was not working. We were looking forward to outside music. The air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived but was fixed quickly, broken thermostat. Overall, it was a great home and we would rent again.

Cleanliness
I'm not an overly picky person and I travel with my service dog and understand dogs shed but there was a pile on dog hair in the living room and around the pool that was easily swept up. It just seemed like the cleaning job was rushed.

Roar on the Shore Getaway
My husband and I traveled to FMB for the boat races last weekend and didn't want to stay in a hotel. This was our first Vrbo and we loved it. The house is adorable and was exactly as described online. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you need other than your own food. There are towels, linens, an iron, hairdryer, washer and dryer, and outdoor grill and TV...all for your convenience. The pool was an added bonus and got a lot of use. They don't list the address, you have to book first in order to get it, but you won't be disappointed by the location. We will definitely book again when we visit FMB in the future. Aloha!

House was great, clean and pool very relaxing. Nicely done, and had every you needed except sauce pans and a pool umbrella. Would rent again.

House and pool were smaller than they appeared online.
Washer was “out of order”.
Sea Gypsy needs to pay their cleaning help some of the $150 they charge clients, so they don’t need to beg for tips.

Very clean home that's close to everything!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and was in a great location. We enjoyed many evenings grilling out by the pool. Will stay here again!
