Our 500 sq. ft.* STUDIO* Modernized Alaskan Homesteaders style GUEST CABIN provides everything you’ll need at an affordable price and the Mountain View’s are unbeatable! ••If your in need of more accommodations for your party you may be interested in renting the main cabin. https://www.vrbo.com/842740 unitId=1390679#datepicker The CABIN is set up in the Alaskan Homesteaders cabin style, one large room with a-joining bathroom. There is one 3 piece in door bathroom w/stand up shower, sink and toilet. A full size stackable washer and dryer, (something the old Alaskan homesteaders wished they’d had!) 1 queen bed, a queen futon and twin rollaway. We offer a nice kitchen with microwave, gas cook stove, full size fridge w/freezer, Keurig/coffee pods, dishes, pots & pans, linens, towels, We have Directv & Wireless Internet. Summer visitors will have a fire pit/1 bundle of wood, an outdoor gas grill and a patio area with seating for 4. Scott and I live on the property so we are available to answer any questions you may have while staying at the Cabin. We enjoy interacting with our guests but know how to respect our guests privacy also.

Enjoyed our stay! Owners were great. Communicated with us on or check in day to ask when we were going to arrive. When we replied we would be arriving late they offered to make up the futon so it would be ready when we arrived. Great to walk in late and have everything ready. Very clean and comfortable place to stay.

We loved our stay at The Copper Cabin in Cantwell, Alaska. It was perfect for our visit to Denali National Park. The property is about 25 miles south of the park, which was nice because the area outside the NP is crowded and busy. The Copper Cabin was sparkling clean with every amenity you could think of. The bed was cozy and comfortable, the wifi worked well, there was TV with Netflix, and great hot water. A lot of love and care has gone into this property and it shows. They even provided some snacks, great coffee, and a fully equipped and immaculate kitchen. The property owner was attentive and easy to communicate with. The property is easy to locate too. We loved our stay and hated to leave!

Cabin was very clean. It had everything you would ever need and a whole lot more! We were able to use the gas grill a couple of times. Vivian was great to communicate with and was very responsive. It was nice to be that close to Denali without being around all the crowds while trying to relax for the evening. Also there is a great BBQ food truck right in Cantwell that is open wed thru sun. We had the ribs and they were great.We would definitely stay again!

We loved this cabin! Perfect size for two of us. Very clean with modern conveniences. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows, well-stocked kitchen, great view with outdoor patio, spacious bathroom, comfortable recliner and couch...Highly recommend!

The cabin had everything one might imagine and then some. A kitchen better equipped that mine at home, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Especially appreciated were the detailed instructions and the tags applied to drawers and cabinets, indicating content and use—an effective time saver. We could not have asked for more, the comfort provided made our brief stay in Cantwell special and memorable.
On top of that, the incredible story of survival experienced by Vivian and Scott, vividly narrated in three gripping issues of a local magazine, available to the guests. I must read for everyone who opts for this wonderful accommodation.
With no doubts I would try to reserve it again should I visit Denali again in the future.

Quiet Cantwell Cabin
My family stayed here for a couple nights and we absolutely enjoyed our experience! The location is easy to fine, friendly hosts, large enough for my family of four, and a nice cooking space! If you’re looking for a little getaway, this is the place to go!

Scott and Vivian were wonderful hosts. The cabin was spotless and all amenities were thoughtfully curated. It is a short drive from the location to Denali and the view of the mountains from the cabin are gorgeous.

The property is very thoughtfully and well-stocked. We had everything we needed, dishes, washer/dryer, blowdryer, blankets, movies, games, really everything. It's comfortable, warm (it was mighty windy when we were there) and cozy. We enjoyed a campfire at night and slept in soundly in the morning. Vivian and Scott are thoughtful hosts. Be sure to ask them about their survival story, it's a captivating one!

Denali vicinity
This apartment was quite cozy with everything we needed plus a few extras. Vivian greeted us upon arrival to show us the apartment. She had toiletries available as well as laundry and kitchen supplies. It was nice to be close to Denali without all the hustle and bustle near the tourist stores.

Fantastic Stay
Had a Wonderful time at Cantwell Cottage. Vivian and Scott were Amazing hosts. The Cottage was Sparkling Clean , had all the essential that you could possibly need for your stay there . The view of the mountain range from the front was Spectacular ! A short drive to Danali National Park , this was a perfect spot . Would Highly recommend this Cottage....did I mention how Clean everything was

Oasis in the Wilderness
After a long day of driving up from Seward to Cantwell this home was a welcome respite. Impeccably clean and well appointed. Vivian's attention to detail is no less than 5 star. Linen quality on par with some of the finest hotels we've stayed at around the country. A sign of excellent hospitality is in the details and this home is filled with surprises that kept our family of 4 comfortable. Our sons (13 and 11) raved over the strength of the Wifi, the movie selection and the comfy futon. We loved all the "extras" shampoo, coffee and fixins, french press or regular coffee maker, electric kettle for hotwater with oatmeal and other tasty breakfast options on site - just to name a few! We brought our own food up from Anchorage but the token small bites were such a nice touch. The full washer and dryer with soap was a dream having been on the road 2 weeks with teen/tween boys! Vivian introduced us to the bear spray if we decided to take a "neighborhood walk." The home is an easy drive into Denali for day trips. We had dinner in Healy and then back to Cantwell for the night. Quiet, clean, private, restful, and close to Denali without the "tourist" feel of the immediate Denali area. We felt a little like locals staying out here - even if for 2 nights. Thank you for your hospitality!

This is a great place to stay when visiting Denali! The cottage is stocked with everything you could want. After hiking in Denali it is the perfect place to come back and relax on the patio, grill some dinner and enjoy the incredible view of the mountains!

Cantwell Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at the Cantwell Cottage, and highly recommend it. The cottage had lots of little extras that made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything you could want, from spices, syrup, oatmeal, waffle mix and a waffle maker, to a full size fridge/freezer and microwave. In the bathroom, soap and shampoo were supplied, as well as a tub of toiletries in case you forgot something (razor, toothbrush, etc.). We appreciated the hooks in the living room and pegs in the bathroom, and put them all to use.
The cottage was about a 35 minute drive to Denali National Park.
Vivian was responsive to any issues, including getting some ice cubes freezing for us before we got there.
If we ever come back to Alaska and go to Denali, we would definitely stay here again!

Cantwell Cabin for Exploring Denali
Vivian and Scott’s place proved to be perfect for our family of four. The cabin is neat as a pin and everything is provided for cooking. Very comfortable base for visiting Denali.

Wonderful place to stay!
This is a wonderful place to stay to see Denali and the park! Vivian and Kaeleen keep the house super stocked with little conveniences, which is very important when the nearest store is over 30 minutes away. It's quiet, clean, beautiful and picturesque, and anything you forgot is right there. We saw a double rainbow and cloudless views of Denali (RARE!) from their home or just minutes away. It is a bit of a drive to the park and Healy where most of the activities are, but the views and all make it totally worth it. Kaeleen was so kind and called us to let us know about the rare clear views of the mountain so we wouldn't miss it. Be sure to read their magazine articles with their story of when Scott got lost - a real page turner! They do have good WIFI and the nice new washer and dryer were so helpful when you come back muddy from your adventures.

A Gem South of Denali
This was a lovely cottage - about a 30 minute drive to Denali. The most fully provisioned place I've ever stayed; clean and tidy and easy to find things. We were only there 3 days but they were some of the best of the trip!

Such a quiet and private little home away from home.. loved this place! Very clean and homey, had everything you need to cook with even a slowcooker, beautiful mountain views, and a quick 25 minute drive to denali national park. Also, the hosts were wonderful, so sweet, checking in on us that we were ok and asking if we needed anything. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with vivian, the owner, and she was just such an awesome lady, so kind and her survival story is amazing, make sure you read it. I also spoke with her daughter who was also so great and helpful. This is a perfect cabin with amazing hosts and we will definitely be returning!
