location
grand hotel in terms of size and spacious grounds. don’t know why the developer couldn’t have spent his money wisely and used proper architects and materials to have hit the mark. very poor design and layout. room was comfortable though very very noisy.

The A/C unit didn’t work very well and the shower door or fram leaked all over the floor and made a mess.

The grounds and room where beautiful.
The finishing in our bathroom needed attending to.
Sound proifing would help comfort.
They only provided decaf coffee in the room, so I had to leave my room for a decent cup of coffee.
The WiFi wasn't suitable for work, so was lucky that we had our of mini as back up.

This hotel was nicer than we were expecting. The view/surroundings are beautiful. Most of the staff was friendly and accommodating. My room had been booked by someone local, for a 6 night stay. After the first night, I checked booking and found a better deal. They agreed to let me check out and check back in at the booking.com rate. That was kind of them. But after that, I felt that the front desk staff that helped with that were annoyed with me the rest of our stay and just kind of tolerated us. I’m not overly sensitive, but maybe that was my imagination? Anyway, just a bit of arrogance from front desk. Everyone else was great, and people were constantly cleaning, whether needed or not. Buffet breakfast was great - lots of choices. Would stay again.
Internet was terrible - almost non-existent. Would have been an issue for us, but we had local SIM cards, so had our own data. When mentioned to reception the problem with internet, the reply was: “We’re not having any problem with it here.”

Apparently there's good parking on site, breakfast was ok.
WiFi was terrible, there was loud live music on all night so we didn't sleep a wink.

Facilities & gardens
Small (std double) bed, slow service
Breakfast.
Food at restaurant taking excessively long to arrive.
Albeit during covid but eerily quiet
Wifi virtually non existent
Hotel only 2yrs old but lots of marks on walls & damaged areas. Not sure if shonky build or poorly maintained.
Paid a discounted Genius rate but still felt overpriced. In my opinion worth closer to $90/nyt then my review would have been a lot better. I expected 5* hotel service & facilities at the price I paid.
Have to forgive they are likely lower in staff due to covid quiet times

Location superb
everything was as per expectation
