Adorable cottage. Decorated in a beach theme. Nice and light. Just remodeled kitchen, lots more storage space and remodeled bathroom. White walls and beach pictures through out. Paddle fans in two lower bedrooms and also in living room cathedral ceiling. Cute covered front deck great for those summer nights. Fresh paint. Off street parking 2 cars. You have a gas grill provided for your use. Super yard for your enjoyment. Lots of space for yard games. We just added an outside open shower. Hot and cold water. Great to rinse off all the salt and sand from your day at the beach before you go up to the deck for a nice cocktail to relax. Quiet neighborhood. You can walk to 5 family friendly restaurants. The Cliff walk is such a beautiful walk around the back yards of the mansions with the beautiful ocean and First beach right at your side. You can get to the Cliff Walk from walking right from the cottage. So convenient. Another great area to walk within 5 mins by car from the cottage is Sachusett Point. It's a nature preserve with wonderful trails and picturesque stands for viewing the rocks thru telescopes. You will also run into the deer and many more wild life creatures that live there. You can walk to First beach within 3 mins. and up over hill to Second Beach in about 10 mins. Location, location. Keywords: Beachy, Immaculate, Fresh Paint

Lovely meticulously clean beach themed cottage walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Gracious hosts made stay pleasant and comfortable.

Our family had the most wonderful week in this adorable, clean and charming cottage. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed the space with our family of 5. Our teenagers loved the loft and we enjoyed using the grill and dining on the private porch. The kitchen had everything we needed and the common area was comfortable and cozy. Our worries about hurricane Henri were allayed by Dave and Beth who went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, comfortable and in the know about the track of the storm. I can't say enough about how wonderful Dave and Beth were to us the entire stay. They were so kind and considerate, always there to help but also respectful of our privacy. They did everything they could to ensure we had a great week and we really enjoyed getting to know them. They take great pride in this cottage and it shows. Thank you Dave and Beth for such a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Surfer's Paradise had it all. Quiet neighborhood but a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The cottage was just perfect; well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, outdoor games and lawn, outdoor seating and gas grill. Beth and Dave were wonderful hosts. I know where we're staying next time we go to the Newport area.

Perfect Vacation Spot
We had so much fun! Cottage is so cute and cozy and super clean. So close to beach and Newport. Owners were great - very hospitable! Super Great time - would definitely go back!!

The property itself was in a great location within short walking distance to both first and second beaches. We easily found a morning running route close by which was great! Inside the property was clean and spacious. It met all needs including a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer set-up. We so enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back soon.

Great little cottage. Spent the week with my kids. Well equipped kitchen with walking access to 1st beach. Owners are onsite if you need anything and are 2 of the nicest people you’ll ever meet

Just as Amazing the 2nd time around
Beth and Dave were extremely accommodating just the same as our first visit several years ago. The house was perfect add on for the second half of our beach crew. The house was very clean and in the absolute best location for 1st and 2nd beach. Would highly recommend staying with them and look forward to staying with them again.

Wonderful Summer Vacation!
My family and I stayed at Beth & Dave's property this summer, July 2019. The premises were extremely clean, stocked, and obviously well cared for. The property is a short walk to First Beach, which is beautiful and not overcrowded. If you want to enjoy the Newport area, you can get to the Cliff Walk by walking down the beach. A 10-minute drive will take you to downtown Newport.
I cannot say enough about Beth & Dave, the owners. They were always available, kind, accommodating, and generous with their time toward us. They greeted us when we arrived to begin our vacation and gave us directions throughout our stay as to where to go in the Newport area. They clearly love the Newport area and want their guests to enjoy their time, too.
My family and I have stayed at many properties over the past 10 years. None of them were as nice as what we experienced this summer at Beth & Dave's property.

Impressions after our second stay at Surfer's Paradise
We love staying at Surfers' Paradise. The cottage is immaculate, well air conditioned and easy to use. My kids can play in the yard and I don't have to worry about where they are. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to so many fun activities.
But the best part of Surfers' Paradise is Beth and Dave. They are kind, thoughtful and straightforward. You might not get to know them during a stay, but if you do, they are a joy to have as friends. I hope we are able to return to see them every year for our vacation.

As a Naval war College student I can tell you that I felt safe and secured staying at 32 Ellery Avenue.... right next to the Beaches....

more outdoor space than we realized
We had a great week at Surfer's paradise with our daughters and my parents. Great location made walking to the beach so easy. Our girls loved to ride their bikes on the blacktop and had fantastic fun playing hide and seek outside, playing ball and enjoying the large grassy lawn. Beth and Dave were kind, helpful and great hosts!

Perfect Family vacation!
This cottage is super clean and so cute! The photos online do not do it justice, it’s even better in person!! Everything in walking distance, outdoor deck space in case of rain, and the owners are absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing first family vacation here and cannot wait to return again!

Perfect cottage for a busy family!
We had an amazing stay at Beth and Dave’s cottage. The location provides ideal acess to everything ie beach, resturants, cliff walk, shopping. Dave and Beth are amazing hosts. They are so eager to make sure you have a great vacation! We loved staying there and will definitely be back!!

Absolutely an Awesome Gem!
Stumbled upon this cottage due to last-minute hotel availability--a blessing in disguise! Stayed here for two weeks while working at the Naval Base. Perfectly located with access to the beach(es), restaurants, and activities, it was better than any hotel could have offered in the area for the same seasonal price; so, my family came along too as there was plenty of space and beds. We enjoyed the morning walks near the water and afternoon bike rides. It even has a grill which made my stay all the more worthwhile.
The owners are "WICKED" awesome, very accommodating and making sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was full of all extras needed to make us feel at home for the two week stay. The online pictures do this place no justice. Immaculately clean with WiFi, we hope to be back here again and would stay at the same cottage!

Another great stay
Second year staying in one of Beth and Dave's property, this year we moved over to the slightly larger unit with a loft since there were 5 of us. The cottage was as described and had everything we needed. Location is great walking distance to 1st beach and the cliff walk. We went 4th of July week this year and a lot more people than last year both at the beach and in town which makes parking anywhere tough. Great fireworks over the harbor and very festive everywhere. Would recommend staying at either of these cottages.

Surfer's Paradise
This was a return trip after a few years' away, and everything was as relaxed and enjoyable as it was before. This was an 'empty nester' trip so the smaller cottage was just right for us. Beth and Dave were their usual helpful and friendly selves. You feel at home for your stay, and not tourist stop. Best possible location too. 5 stars.

Love it!
We have rented from Beth & Dave for two years and only have great things to say about them and their cottages.
They are meticulous about keeping up their property right down to the little details.
Their property is in a perfect location, close to 1st Beach and town which is great for our family as they like to run back and forth throughout the day!
I highly recommend the area and this wonderful rental property!!!
