My sister and I recently purchased a true treasure in Southern Shores. Twins Inn, a spacious 7 bedroom, 6 bath, 2 half-bath home has it all! Make this your 2nd home for a week (or two) and you'll never want to leave. You will enjoy relaxing on one of several decks, swimming in your private pool and unwinding in the hot tub. The kids will love the play set. This beautiful house is close to an uncrowded beach on a quiet, dead end street. There is no road to cross to get to the ocean and you can walk to the beach in under 4 minutes. Southern Shores is a great place for a family vacation. There are community sidewalks for biking, jogging or walking. Many shops and restaurants close by. Twins Inn, at over 4,400 square feet, is the perfect setting to make family memories. There is a huge fenced yard and the property is surrounded by trees. Adults will enjoy the climb up to the crow’s nest for horizon views of the ocean. There are two living areas to enjoy—a sunroom on the second level and a huge great room with vaulted ceiling on the third level. This is a Friday-to-Friday rental. We had the best trip at Twins Inn! You couldn’t ask for a more perfect house than this one. The house has everything you need and more! The location is wonderful - on a quiet a street with a short walk to the beach. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool after the beach. We also loved hanging in the crow’s nest to watch the nightly stars or in the morning with your coffee. I really can’t say enough good things about this house and the owner. We look forward to staying here again! Thank you so much!

We were very impressed with the Twins. It made such an enjoyable stay. We loved being close to the ocean and yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.

The Twins Inn was perfect! Neta was a pleasure to work with and was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. The place is huge and easily accommodated our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children under the age of 6. Kitchen is fully stocked. Outdoor shed has plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool toys, etc. The pool and hot tub kept everyone entertained when we weren’t at the beach. The beach is an extremely short walk away with an access point right at the end of the street. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. Excited for the next visit to twins inn!

Large, clean, beach house with everything you need. We enjoyed the pool, we walked to the ocean every day with our 4 small grandchildren, family, We used the provided wagons, chairs and beach carts every day.

The property was as described in every way. Plenty of room on multiple floors, with lots of comfortable seating. The outdoor areas are wonderful and it’s a very short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this property for your family!

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for from a vacation rental. The additional living area on the second floor was the perfect place for the kids to hangout, and the kitchen had everything you could want to cook for everyone. Tucked in a quiet street, and just a short walk to the beach. Would recommend to anyone, especially people vacationing with multiple families!

This property was amazing and perfect for our family of 14!! The beach was just a short walk away and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Plenty of space for everyone and we couldn’t have loved our stay more. Great hosts answered our questions and were so kind. Thank you for this wonderful time!!!

The Twins In. Is absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! Everything about it is wonderful. Some other reviews have mentioned that you don’t need to pack anything for the beach or pool and they weren’t kidding! Tons of sand toys and pool toys plus chairs and beach carts. The kitchen is well stocked as well. I can’t recommend this house enough. Would definitely book again!

It is much larger than it appears. We loved the floor plan. Large bedrooms and convenient 1/2 baths where some floor plans wouldn’t have had them. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the crows nest.

Best stocked house
We have been renting on the Outer Banks for 20+ years. This is by far the best stocked house we have ever had. The closet with pool and beach toys and chairs was so nice to use. It is much larger than it appears. We loved the floor plan. Large bedrooms and convenient 1/2 baths where some floor plans wouldn’t have had them. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the crows nest.

Family Reunion
We stayed at Twins Inn for a family reunion with my siblings. The house was beautiful with everything we needed. We all loved the house and the surroundings.

Neta’s beach house was a perfect spot for our family and friends, we had more space than we needed! The house was equipped with all the kitchen supplies we needed and all of the bedrooms had bathroom suites which was awesome. The patios and rooftop deck were the perfect hang spots. The weather was too chilly for the pool but we made good use of the swing set with the kids! The beach was steps from the house. We also loved being so close to downtown Duck; we rented bikes and rode down the bike path every day for some ice cream and to play the park! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Simply PERFECT
The house was a perfect layout for our family reunion! A large kitchen and living area provided plenty of room for our party of 12 to comfortably eat (and play).
Bedrooms were all very lovely. As the first to arrive, we had the first choice of rooms, and it was a difficult one because they were all so nice.
The house was clean and very well stocked with plenty of plates, cookware and utensils. Two refrigerators and two dishwashers were extremely helpful and a nice touch!
The house was an easy walk to the beach and to the town of Duck.
I can highly recommend this place and thank you for giving us a wonderful Outer Banks experience.

Twins Inn is a beautiful and spacious house nestle among shades of live oaks in Southern Shores. We had an amazing 4 night stay. The house was perfect for our couples reunion. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for dining. The beds were comfortable. Everyone in our group agreed on how great the house was. It was a wonderful place to stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It was spotlessly clean. Very easy to find an access. The beach was a very short walk down the road. And the beach itself was very quiet as it’s only accessed by privately owned homes. The owner was wonderful to communicate with. The house itself is huge, so much bigger than it looks in the pictures! We didn’t need to bring any beach stuff at all! They had multiple beach wagons a huge tub full of beach toys about eight boogie boards lots of chairs and more! If you book this property you will truly not be disappointed. The location is also fantastic. Just north of Kitty Hawk and just south of duck. You get the best of both worlds!

Best rental experience ever!
There were 14 in our party and this property had everything listed in the description PLUS ALL we needed to enjoy our stay except food and clothes. It was spacious, bright and nicely decorated. The two living rooms were a hit for our young and old. Large backyard and decks were awesome and being close to beach, shopping and eateries were a bonus. We look forward to returning!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It was spotlessly clean. Very easy to find an access. The beach was a very short walk down the road. And the beach itself was very quiet as it’s only accessed by privately owned homes. The owner was wonderful to communicate with. The house itself is huge, so much bigger than it looks in the pictures! We didn’t need to bring any beach stuff at all! They had multiple beach wagons a huge tub full of beach toys about eight boogie boards lots of chairs and more! If you book this property you will truly not be disappointed. The location is also fantastic. Just north of Kitty Hawk and just south of duck. You get the best of both worlds!

Twins Inn provides fabulous lodging! So many "pluses" to mention: location, beach access, house layout, well appointed kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and ample parking (we had four cars), just to name a few. The owner is responsive and helpful - she's a real gem!

Property Exceeded our Expectations - Perfect Outer Banks Vacation
Thank you, we had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. We did a lot of research to find the perfect home for our vacation with my parents and three young children, and this property exceeded expectations. The house had everything needed (e.g., puzzles, toys, large beach carts, beach chairs/umbrellas, lots of sand toys, boogie boards, playset in the backyard, outdoor shower). It had plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked (e.g., spices, oils, utensils, two toasters, two dishwashers, two fridges, two trash cans). It is on a quiet, residential, dead-end street, so the short walk to the beach (~5 minutes with young children walking) was ideal with no traffic and large beach carts to easily tow all our gear. The communication with the owner could not have been better. We hope to be back soon.

We loved our stay at Twins Inn! There were 12 in our extended family group. The house had the perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. We could all spend time together on the main floor without feeling crowded, and we loved the well stocked large kitchen area.

The huge beautiful yard and pool made for an excellent easy spot to cool down, talk, and play when we didn't want to pack for the beach. My 3 year old daughter learned to swim with a floatie in this pool, which makes it an extra special memory.
Also, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners in person when we checked in. Neta is incredibly friendly and generous, even asking about tennis and giving us passes to park at the court nearby.
We spent several evenings after the kids were asleep stargazing from the crow's nest, and saw many shooting stars larger than anything I'd personally seen before--even as someone who went out of his way as a kid/teen to watch meteor showers in the Shenandoah Valley.
The home is walking distance from the beautiful town of Duck - we walked up on a Saturday to grab Duck Donuts for my daughter's birthday instead of fighting the tourist traffic, and it was a great trip.

Perfect family stay
We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. We had 4 generations staying at the house from 1.5 years old to 90. They had everything you’d need to cook a masterpiece and for the young ones to be safe and have fun. They had all kinds of pool and beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts. Basically everything you need to have a great trip and with a short walk to the beach. It’s a quiet street and the beach wasn’t busy either. We’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and hope to come back someday.
