Overall happy with our stay. There was a hiccup with check in…the email from VRBO gave check in instructions and I didn’t see the message through VRBO that was sent by the property manager that had the actual check in information. So check your messages if you stay here for the accurate information. BUT owners were super quick to respond and this little mishap has no negative effect on my rating. Just wanted to make mention. We were all happy with the house. The children enjoyed the books and toys that were available in one of the bedrooms. My only “complaint” is the old house smell. It took a bit to get used to. I also think the carpet throughout has seen better days and may contribute to the smell. All in all I would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home!

My family and I were traveling to Yellowstone, WY. We stayed at the cottage on our way through and on our way back. The cottage was completely adequate for our needs. Very clean, tidy, comfortable and welcoming. Our host Alex was very responsive this being key in a great stay.

It worked for what we needed for a family wedding at the Idaho Falls temple. Air conditioning was only fair and not enough hit water for everyone to take hot showers.

Good value for money. Garage is used for storage, but enough parking outside garage.

This house was so cute, and immediately felt like home. We loved our stay and we were surprised at how much space there was for our family of 6.
Management was very responsive to communication and helpful.

This is a charming historic home. It’s spacious and comfortable. I appreciated that all the air conditioners were on when we arrived in 95 degree heat. The walk along Riverside Park is lovely!

This was a charming old home. It was actually nicer than expected. We stayed for the 4th of July fireworks and chose to walk the 2 miles back to the house rather than sit in traffic. Well maintained place. Thank you!

My family enjoyed a short vacation in Idaho Falls. The property is in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The host was super responsive. One of the window Air conditioners was not working. The host had it replaced within 30 minutes of hearing of the problem. The house is really charming with a big yard and a propane barbeque that we made good use of. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

This was the best vacation we have had so far and we are excited to come back! There were some dirty dishes in the cupboard, other than that the home was nicely clean. Having a washer and dryer was pretty handy!
Thank you so much!

My family stayed here as part of a small getaway to do some shopping. The property was as listed. It was clean and had everything we needed and wanted. Close to downtown and shopping. Neighborhood was cute. The sound of the train made me miss my hometown. My kids loved the upstairs! The Littles enjoyed the toy closet! If we need another getaway we will definitely be staying here again.

The size of the house fit the needs of our group, traveling with two young children and grandparents.
But the house is lacking in cleanliness and upkeep details.
As my son played around the house his feet became black from the floors.
I was excited for this house because it offered space for us to hang out during nap time and the evenings but the details of comfort were missing as the couches need to be replaced and blinds fixed for privacy, which was disappointing.
The kitchen has everything needed to make meals, a detail we were grateful for so we didn’t eat out for all meals.
The toy closet is a detail my son really enjoyed!

Wonderful place and great hospitality. Clear entry and simple checkout procedures were provided and we didn’t have trouble finding the place. The rooms are spacious, well kept and clean. The owner responded promptly to text messages and questions. The house is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to the downtown Idaho Falls city park which has a path along both sides of the river. We enjoyed walking along both sides of the falls and saw a fisherman land a four foot long sturgeon. We also checked out the university located in Idaho Falls. We had a great time and loved the house. Thanks so much for a wonderful place to stay!

The house is in a great location, close to historic downtown and the river walk, a real plus! Owner communicated well and answered all needs. Place is dated, but in a nice historic area. The house is old, but cute. Could use some updating, with furniture and bathrooms, comfy and ample space.
Outside area could use cleaning up, lots of debris, new table and chairs, as the yard is a nice place to relax.
I would surely stay again, if they update it a bit.

We stayed here twice during our road trip. Once for two nights on our way to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Missoula, MT and Glacier and then again for one night on our way back down to catch our flight back home out of Salt Lake City. Pictures on VRBO are a little deceiving and the inside of the house had a very musty (old) smell. Exterior of the house needs to be repaired and repainted. The living room furniture was well worn and probably needs to be replaced soon. Kitchen was dated but had most everything we needed to cook a few meals. Coffee maker worked (barely) on the first trip but not at all on the second visit. The weather was unusually hot and it would have been nice to have the ceiling fan in the living room work. Should probably look at the breaker that the main floor window air conditioner is plugged in to. The breaker tripped every time a lamp was turned on in the living room. Flooring throughout the main floor was uneven from room to room-could be a real trip hazard. Beds were comfortable, though. I would say this property is adequate, but no real wow factor. Would be good for a large family (there are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths) who don’t really care about amenities but need a large space.

Great House for Large Traveling Group
We rented this property on the way to and from our vacation destination as it marks the halfway point of a long drive. Three adults, 3 teens, and a toddler. House is in a great location, super clean, has all the needed amenities. Host was easy to get a hold of for questions. Would definitely recommend!

National Park Pit Stop
Flew in to Idaho Falls and needed a place to accommodate two famalies.. Convienient to downtown, which had great restaurants and a few awesome parks plus the waterfalls. Clean and better value than multiple hotel rooms.

Overnight after vacation to be close to airport
My family loved having one last night together before everyone flew/drove back to their homes. The side yard with the bocce balls was a fun thing to do. Not much kitchen cookware and tableware supplies to do much cooking/serving so we ended up with pizza. Overall it was good.

The property was adequate for our needs. Not the best neighborhood but we didn’t feel unsafe. Could use some help with kitchen items. All the pans were warped and old. There wasn’t enough silverware for all in our party to eat and there were no kitchen dishrags. Overall our stay was good though.

the cottage was very quaint and felt like home, easy to sit and visit at the kitchen table or in the living room. we were only there for the night and left the next morning , but it was a relaxing little place.
