Casa De Emdeko is one of the most popular waterfront Condo complexes in Kona; visit just once and, like most of our guests, you'll keep coming back. There is just something magical about Casa de Emdeko - there is a welcoming social atmosphere and you can meet other guests and owners in the evening on the community patio while watching the sunset or bbq'ing and dining oceanfront. Unit #115 is a first floor unit (easy access to everything) and very close to the ocean. This newly refurbished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom is on ground floor - easy access and just steps to the sandy beach area (no ocean access) and saltwater pool, yet still very safe, quiet and private. Master bedroom King Bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress. Queen sofa bed in living room. Unit is Approx 700 square feet. Sorry, unit not suitable for children. MAX OCCUPANCY is 2 Watch the amazing SUNSETS from the Tiki Torch lit patio area. Beautiful Community Gazebo and Gas BBQ's for your use. Washer and dryer in unit, additional laundry facility and dryers on property for larger items or loads, new Refrigerator, Dishwasher, newer range/oven, and new Microwave, new Central Air-conditioning. HD Cable Smart TV (with Hi-Def box) in living room connected to DVD, and smaller flat screen TV in bedroom. Bluetooth speaker, games, books and secure Wifi in unit. I would definitely stay at the casa de emdeko room 115 again. The owners were wonderful and thier condo was just wonderful! Beautiful property and the best place to see the sunset at thier beach or swimming in the salt pool!!

The hosts are extremely responsive and everything you need is on site. The building is beautiful and the courtyard and sand area are perfect. Great place for meeting friends and family.

The location of this place was the best! We loved hearing the ocean at night through the windows. The unit was homey and comfortable. It was also stocked with everything you could possibly every need to be able to cook, personal items, and even items for going on excursions! We also enjoyed having 2 pools and hearing the birds everyday. The only thing was it was hard to get parking at night if you were out late and would need to park outside the gate.

We loved this condo!! Cathie was wonderful. She was so fast in answering our questions and was a very gracious host. The condo was great and had everything we needed, plus some extra things we didn’t expect (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, cooler). We felt very safe and welcome. We loved the location! It was close to our 2 favorite outings: Night snorkeling with the manta rays and hiking to the Captain Cook Monument and snorkeling there.
We will definitely stay there again!

The host has outfitted the place perfectly, even leaving quality snorkeling equipment in multiple sizes. The bed was totally comfortable; I even ordered the same sheets when I got home because they were so rich.
The surf was extra high while I was there, so the salt pool was closed, alas. I look forward to trying it the next time. Nevertheless I swam in the fresh water pool daily, sat by the waves crashing on the rocks where the small "beach" meets the rocks and watched daily, and I slept with windows open to hear the pounding surf. The condo is far enough from the hustle/bustle of the tourist business district, yet convenient for everything you might want. I'll be back. Mahalo. Mahalo mucho.

The condo was very comfortable, nicely laid out, and well-stocked with water recreation equipment, guidebooks, kitchen supplies, washer/drier and dishwasher. The lanai was pleasant and relatively private, and there were great ocean views in the common areas. Check-in was very easy.

It was like being home, away from home. Everything we needed for cooking, eating, cleaning, playing, all there. It was great to walk right out to the pools n group area a few steps from the living room doors. We we very pleased and at peace there. Parking was hit and miss inside the gate, but not really a big deal. Grounds staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived. Would definitely return here in a heartbeat. We stayed a week, then in 2 different hotel type places on Hilo side and kicked ourselves for not just staying the whole 2 weeks at this cozy spot!

The owners of this condo were so accommodating. And the condo was stock with anything your could of imagine needing. The complex is beautiful and would love to return. We felt safe and the saltwater pool was awesome.

We loved the complex, the apartment was perfect for the two of us. The view, the pools, the outdoor seating area, the nighty ceremony at sunset, dinners outside with other guests. We would and will stay here again. Owners came by and introduced themselves. Very responsive.

Hawaii the way it should be
We loved our time at Casa. Great location to launch all of our adventures around the island. Multiple hikes, black sand, green sand and white sand beaches! Staying at casa we felt safe and welcomed and enjoyed it being our place to recharge and relax each day.

Our unit was wonderful, just the right size for the two of us. We felt very secure with the locking gates. The owners were great to work with. We used the grills nightly and really enjoyed the 2 swimming pools and the private beach.

You'll have everything you need
Casa 115 is in the perfect location on the property - just steps away from a pool if you go right or left! It's quiet, but friendly folks gather each night for the ceremony of conch blowing for the sunset. Drinks and food on the shared cabana area are a wonderful way to meet people. The bed in the condo is very comfortable, there are many extras included - books, Smart tv, condiments, beach supplies, etc. that make your stay even better. Wonderful place, and very nice and accommodating hosts! We are coming back next year.
