Misleading, reckless property description. Does not sleep 20. Not suitable for kids, families or girls weekend. Backyard is not useable. No grass, just un-kept weeds, no landscape, not mowed, filthy back door entrance, scary-graffiti- filled neighborhood with broken windows, boarded up windows on apartments. Open windows with sheets used as torn, 1/2 curtain on buildings next door. Backyard has huge rotten, old tree stumps, old door or shelving strewn out on a work bench. Cracked concrete path to unpainted, dirty entrances. NO motion light or out door lights of ANY kind in front. Sketchy area of town. Spiral staircase fits max of 200# person. It’s treacherous with faulty wooden steps. ‘Garden level’ is a dungeon-like, uneven floor, very old , low ceiling basement, painted white. Bathrooms are not updated, broken shower door trim, dirty, rusty moldy grout. Door handles fell off. Window A/C faulty, Oven, oven drawers, K drawers are all dirty.
Truck ransacked the 1st night. Took pics of home and ransacked truck, and sent to VRBO & mgr. No recourse, wanted to move, asked for refund for 1 night to pay for hotel. Refused. Owner and VRBO no help. Avoid both.
Do not ignore the real reviews. Obviously many have walked in and walked out. There is a reason there is NO refund policy. It’s sub-par & in a very dangeraous neighborhood.

Great spot to use as home base for a concert or Twins game. All kinds of stuff to do right out the front door.

The hosts were super responsive and the neighborhood is great. Plenty of room for our family of 8. The kitchen could use some more equipment and there is some work to be done in the place.

The backyard was a dump and the oven didn't work. Pretty poor conditions considering families were going to be staying there. In addition, the house was divided and split into two with an additional family staying there, which wasn't described in the order offer

I stayed here with my two teen daughters and my 1yo daughter with a friend of mine for a girls trip! We definitely enjoyed the space and each getting a bedroom. The location seemed great for what we all did over the weekend. I would definitely choose this option over hotel stays for our next trip!

Great property with all the amenities necessary. As described and the host was very communicative. Late checkout wasn’t available but they let us keep our bags at the property which was a huge help. A little bit older and loud but that’s a given with houses with character. Would recommend for any large groups!

We planned a couple day trip to the Mall of America. This location was perfect and we loved the fact that the local shops were within walking distance to go grab a cup of coffee at the many different coffee shops or yummy pizza from Black Sheep (a must). There was plenty of room for our family of 5.! Rachael was also wonderful and always quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your home.

Location! Location! Location!
We planned a couple day trip to the Mall of America. This location was perfect and we loved the fact that the local shops were within walking distance to go grab a cup of coffee at the many different coffee shops or yummy pizza from Black Sheep (a must). There was plenty of room for our family of 5.! Rachael was also wonderful and always quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great place for big groups
Great property with all the amenities necessary. As described and the host was very communicative. Late checkout wasn’t available but they let us keep our bags at the property which was a huge help. A little bit older and loud but that’s a given with houses with character. Would recommend for any large groups!

We didn't stay. We drove home. Rental had not been cleaned since last renters. Owner was kind and responsive but we didn't want to stay after we saw the place. Still looking for a refund

Our group consisted of 2 couples. The layout of the property allowed us both parking spaces right behind the property and each couple had their own floor. Our friends stayed on the main floor which had 3 bedroom areas and a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Our friends said that the bedroom that they stayed in was very comfortable. We stayed in the basement area which also had it's own kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room. As we stayed in February it was a little chilly but Rachael provided 2 heaters that made the basement comfortable. We also found the bed very comfortable. The location was great! In the area we went to the Up Down a couple of times. Our main goal of our 5 day vacation was to go to many restaurants. The house was only 15 minutes away from downtown. I was worried about "rush hour" traffic but we had 7:30PM reservations for Manny on a Tuesday and it was so quick to get to! We also went to MOA and the casino which were a little further away but still very easy to get to. We watched some of the DVDs & played the board games that were available. The bathrooms also had shampoo/conditioner/body wash available in case you forgot. Also some coffee and other little things were available for guests as well. The automatic key entries were great to have since we had multiple parties and didn't have to organize getting everyone in & out. If you're planning on staying in the basement section this is only accessible by stairs which may limit who could access this section, although we didn't have a problem. Also there is an upstairs portion to the house that people occupy, but all the doors into your section of the house have keypad locks so you feel very secure. The couple that were in the main part said that they weren't bothered by the people upstairs. Rachael was very responsive to e-mails and made the check-in/check-out process very easy. It was a great stay! Thank you!

Respite for our family
This was a lovely home to stay in and accommodated our family very comfortably. Restaurants were a walk away and easy to access. Thank you so much to our hosts for making this an easy place to land while we were in Minneapolis!

I was looking for a place near our daughter' school so we could walk to her graduation ceremony. Rachael place was perfect not only from location perspective but also from accommodations and coziness :). Very spacious and clean - recommend it.

The careful attention to detail across the board means you will be perfectly comfy, happy, and well-cared for. Rachael's house is a truly exceptional home away from home. Highly recommend, Bright ans Clean
Highly recommend. Perfect place to stay for my work trip. Rachel is a kind generous and friendly Hostess and great conversationalist. Her home is bright, very clean, and well-appointed while chock-full of Minneapolis charm. Rooms are cute and cozy with comfy beds and tons of natural light. It was the quiet respite I needed at the end of my long days. Perfect spot for groups on family or work trips. Adorable. Would definitely book again! Thanks Rachael
