The studio villa is located on the beach in the Villas de Cortez complex, which is situated next door to it’s sister property, the Palmas De Cortez Hotel. You can utilize any of the amenities of the Hotel including the nine hole golf course, spa, tennis courts, charter boat fishing, ATV rentals, kayaking or jet skiing, for a fee. The villa features a fully equipped kitchen, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, blender, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven. Brand new tiled walk in and glass enclosed shower. The location is great, the unit is over decorated but comfortable. Be careful about your ATV outside overnight, they can disappear. But most importantly the owner did not pay the power bill and it was cut in the middle of out stay and with a baby to move was a real pain. On the phone the owner seemed more concerned about why the power went off than out well being. Won't stay in that unit again. There are several other more comfortable.

This property is well described and accurately represented. What we couldn’t anticipate from the pictures is how incredibly gorgeous the view was from the deck. Scattered fishing boats moored, and hills in the distance, the sound of the waves, and beautiful colorful ground of various bougainvilleas. Several nights the full moon hit the water and i wish I could share the amazing pics! It was a great pleasure hanging out in the pool area with plenty of chase lounges in the early AM to bring in the day. Janice was very accommodating and very swift in her responses. My only complaint was that time went too fast!!

Relaxing stay at this quiet resort. We didn’t really use the property amenities much as we toured the area most of the days we were there. Otherwise the unit had everything you would need. We’re told we had to supply our own toilet paper and dish soap which was kinda odd for the price paid. Got there and there were 3 bottles of dish soap and multiple rolls of TP ?? Cleaning fee was extra as well. Super easy communication with friendly host and property management.

The property was awesome- the pool & swim up bar were great, and can't complain about being right next to the beach! My only complaint was that I found a few bugs in the room, but otherwise enjoyed it very much.

The hotel was sold out so the front desk suggested the villas . Private pool for villa guests. Place was awesome and super clean. Very nice staff. Not once was I disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great location. Walking distance to town and we are in our 70s. The studio condo is perfect for two and the bed was great. The property manager, Pedro, supplied us with an umbrella for the deck which made it perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Stayed here before and hope to again.

Most gorgeous view! We loved waking up to the most beautiful sunrises ever. The relaxing sound of the Sea of Cortez is the best. All the amenities you could need in the kitchen plus a grill outside is available to use as well. Can rent kayaks and enjoy time out in the water. We will definitely be coming back. Great nearby restaurants, bars and souvenir shops too plus the friendliest people everywhere we went.

Loved our stay!
Los Barriles is a quaint little town with many gringos. Lots of great restaurants and bars along the beach. It was extremely windy while we were there so we spent a lot of time watching the kite surfers. Our morning beach walks were so wonderful and got our day off on the right foot. Part of Our pool was being tiled so we used one in the hotel next door. Very nice hotel and you can use all of the amenities. This condo is the best location by far. We had trouble watching movies due to the internet speed in the evening so plan something else to do. There are cards and games in the unit which we enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again. Great host, great property management. Top notch! Thanks for renting to us!

Great condo, clean, convenient location, property management was quick & responsive when the wrong key codes were given. My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress. I would definitely love to stay there again!

Great place to stay for a week. Wifi was solid. Place was clean. Everything worked fine. 2 Min walk to get the 4 wheeler. Perfect.

Great place. Liked the furniture layout as compared to other units. Some deficiencies, but made temporary repairs. We reported to manager. Overall a great unit, that we would rent again.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Villas. The villa we stayed in was very clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with appliances etc. Beautiful view and amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and cozy
If you like the condo/ownership feel vs the hustle-bustle of hotel living, this is your place. Set next door to the hotel, so you have all that available without having to walk through it every time you go to the condo. Grocery store is almost within walking distance and a full kitchen awaits

Condo is well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed using the pool/restaurants at the hotel, but also liked using the small kitchen to prepare simple meals.
