Located in West Jefferson, this charming house for $498 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Our Point of View is a beautiful mountain home located in West Jefferson, NC. Has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Can sleep up to 10 people. Has all the amenities you need to make this your home away from home. Awesome location that is convenient to hiking, rafting, shopping, antiquing,dining and local attractions. Please look at the pictures and videos, and read the reviews. Please look at the photos for some of the nice features. Easy access with paved driveway, with beautiful mountain views and close to the scenic town of West Jefferson which is less than 5 minutes away with dining, shopping, and historic sites. Short trip to Boone and Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy hiking, restaurants, shopping, crafts, site seeing, rafting, biking (Creeper Trail not too far), and specialty shops. Our home has granite counter tops, stainless appliances, gas fireplace, beautiful wood throughout home, large deck and also a lower patio over looking mountains, a stone and wood covered entrance way. Satellite, internet, free wi-fi, home phone, and 5 HDTV's. Full size washer/dryer in laundry room. Recreation room with pool table, board games, and books. A great place to relax with plenty of things to do within a short drive. 5 minutes from downtown West Jefferson shopping. Many other attractions close by including the New River, Churches of the Frescoes, Blowing Rock, Boone, Blue Ridge Parkway and the list goes on :) 9/1/2015 Newly added entirely paved driveway and parking areas. Never have to touch gravel getting to our home! Unlike some other listings we do not charge an admin fee for booking. In order to book our home you must read over the required Rental Agreement we will provide, complete all required information, and return with drivers license verifying your agreement to the stated terms that they are acceptable and will be followed. Please notify us if have any questions on this. We rent to families only with primary renters at least 30 years of age. If date is booked or need different arrival days we have 3 other beautiful homes available in Surfside Beach SC as well listed on the Reaches2Beaches website

4 couples from around the US got together for a crazy 100 mile bike ride !! The accommodations were absolutely fantastic, with veiws to die for right off the deck!!! Deer every moring in the yard, such a wonderful place to stay!!!

Our family spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house. There was plenty of room for our family. The house is well stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed many hours relaxing on the deck enjoying the great views of the mountains. The location was great. It is close to downtown West Jefferson. We enjoyed browsing in the cute shops and there are many great restaurants. We are planning to come back to this house again next year.

Had wanted to go to W Jefferson for years and finally did this trip to the mountains. Rented this property because of its proximity to town while still in a gorgeous, mountain setting. Well-stocked. Clean. Easy to cook meals in but also enjoyed a retirement dinner celebration at Craft Bistro in town. Also, all roads paved/accessible to home. Views and lovely breeze on deck made for many memorable moments. It was 93 at home (central nc) one day and 75 there! Ahhhhhh.

Kathy and Steve have thought of everything you might need or want in a vacation home. It is definitely a "home" and not a "house." We knew that mid November might bring a few weather surprises and we got to enjoy them all from hurricane rains to an inch of snow all in two days! We didn't mind at all because we were all very satisfied cooking, playing games and snoozing. We did get to enjoy the peaceful view several times when the sun broke through and took lots of nice photos. We also were visited by deer each day! This was our second trip to Our Point of View and we are looking forward to visiting again next year! Kathy and Steve, thank you for texting and checking in on us!

Good experience
We had a wonderful week staying here. This cabin is private but close to W Jefferson and easy to access. Kitchen was well stocked, every room was clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Views and easy location
The house is very cozy and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed the back deck with the beautiful views and lovely weather. There were many notes to makes sure you understood the rules and expectations of the owners. Only draw back was that we had 9 people staying and limited seating in the living room and hardly any in the pool table room. However the pool and ping pong tables were a big hit with our teenagers. Thank you again for sharing your home.

Home was PERFECT for our family time back up in West Jefferson. We ranged in age from 27 to 83 and there are rooms that accommodated all! Beautiful views! Easy access in and out of property to all we had planned to do. We will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this Mountain house so much! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the house was clean throughout. We loved that the house is tucked away, yet close enough to to for us to do some shopping and dining in West Jefferson! The golf course close by- Mountain Air- was beautiful and well maintained. Our favorite part of this house was sitting out on the deck watching the sunsets!

A beautiful home with everything for a great trip to the mountains! Lots of Adirondack chairs on the upper deck to enjoy the view. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed playing pool in the evenings after spending the days shopping in the close-by,quaint town of West Jefferson! We'll be back!

What a beautiful home for your group to stay on our vacation! The owners are super nice and responded quickly! The kitchen is well stocked and the view from the deck is fantastic! Our group went tubing nearby and we really enjoyed walking around the town of West Jefferson as well! You will love staying at this lovely home!

Cameras all over the property, felt like we were constantly being watched and unable to have company over for a visit without having the owners calling to tell us that they had to leave. Wonderful Place, Wonderful Hosts
My husband, my sister, my three children, and myself absolutely enjoyed this house! It has everything you need and more. Spectacular views, plenty of space, and a pool table and ping-pong table that your kids will love. We hiked around the house because the views are gorgeous. It’s a short drive to West Jefferson with restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. In town there is a neat playground that my boys enjoyed. Kathy and Steve were very attentive hosts. They answered all questions quickly and gave us all the information we needed. We would love to stay there again. Thank you Kathy and Steve!
