Enjoy La Jolla and the San Diego area from a lovely residential neighborhood, just four blocks from the golden sand of Windansea Beach. The residence is fully air-conditioned (even though really not needed as so close to the beach that the residence enjoys the cool ocean breezes) ! The residence is located on the second floor of a duplex (upper and lower). All appliances and designer furnishings in this sophisticated contemporary are newer. There is sleeping for four – the Master bedroom has a King bed, the guest bedroom has two full size beds a; all mattresses on beds are Plushtops. The granite countertop kitchen is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances including a gas range. The dining room has a dining table for six and counter seating at the bar. Free Direct TV and Wifi Internet come with the rental. The residence has a full-size washer and dryer . The retreat has exclusive use of the newly installed front yard/patio with dining table, lounge chairs, couch, and BBQ. This is not a shared space. There is also a enclosed area to store beach toys and bikes. The downstairs residence has exclusive use of the back patio. The retreat has off-street parking for one car as well as on street parking and a public lot just a short block away. Parking is free. Housekeeping every other week for monthly stays is included. Additional housekeeping is available. The house is in a great location for enjoying the amenities of La Jolla and the San Diego area. La Jolla is a friendly town for walking. It is just four blocks to the Beach and La Jolla Village businesses, dining, shopping and other activities are within ½ mile of the retreat – town center, museums, restaurants, shops and businesses. A delightful Sunday Farmers Market is a source of fresh produce and unique crafts. The Coggan Aquatic Center with Olympic-size pool and sports complex offering tennis courts, track, baseball fields and basketball courts is located just two blocks east of the home. As an alternative to strolling thru La Jolla, the main public bus line stops within a block of the house and provides transportation throughout La Jolla and south to Pacific Beach, Mission Bay and other San Diego destinations. Beach bikes are also readily available for rental. Come and enjoy the beauty and relaxation provided by our fabulous La Jolla!

The upstairs duplex is just lovely. You can see the Sea, watch the sunset and enjoy watching the birds. The house is thoughtfully filled with whatever you need. And it’s easy walking distance to two beaches, the shopping district and the Sunday farmers market. We loved our two week stay.

Fantastic place in La Jolla - great location and beautiful condo with all of the amenities. We loved the spaciousness of the place. Everything you could possibly need was available. There was a cute patio in the front where we loved to hang out. Also, parking was not a problem. Would definitely stay there again, the next time we are in San Diego!

Beautiful property in a quiet charming neighborhood. Close to beach and restaurants and stores. Everything was clean and functional. Front patio for the upstairs unit was very comfortable. Instructions provided made operating everything very simple.

The unit is in a perfect location to experience the beach, downtown La Jolla, and all of San Diego. The layout is wonderful and patio stunning. The unit is very spacious and the decor is very new. Would recommend to anyone !

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay! Only 4 blocks from the beach. The unit was clean and very well stocked with pot, pans, utensils, towels, etc. Lisa provided very detailed and easy to follow instructions. We have a problem with one of the toilets. The chain in one toilet became disconnected. Lisa asked us to reconnect it ourselves.

The house is located in a perfect location in La Jolla. You can walk to the ocean in 10mins. Great for morning walks & sunsets with some amazing views. There is CVS & Vons in 10 mins walking distance. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby (Try El Pescador for seafood!!) We have a 2 year old girl and she loved walking to the nearby parks.
The house is on the 1st floor. You need to step up like 20 steps just to keep in mind. Lisa made our stay memorable by being very communicative and assisted us to make our stay wonderful.
The house already comes with cleaning products for washing machine, dishwasher etc. The BBQ outside is easy to use and make your life easier when the weather allows. There was complimentary cleaning couple of times during our 2 month stay so we appreciated that as well.
We would definitely recommend this place for friends & families.

Amazing location, close to beach & restaurants. Not too far to downtown La Jolla, close drive to airport. We rented a golf cart - so fun & highly recommend! Great for families with toddlers - had high chair & pack n play! Thanks for a great stay will definitely rebook & recommend! (Also great Wi-Fi for those who have to zoom during their stay - I was able to take my meeting out front in the cute outdoor space). Neighbors are friendly too, we had live music two nights & it was really good! (Not loud & obnoxious, just a guy with his guitar singing a tune). Thanks again

We stayed at this property for 7 nights with our 2 adult children. This condo was ideal for us because it had 2 full bathrooms and a second bedroom with 2 beds. Beds were very comfortable. It also had air conditioning (which many homes in the area do not have).
The condo was very clean and, although we did not do any cooking, had a well stocked kitchen. I'm sure it has any type of pot, pan or utensil that you might need.
The location was excellent;Walking distance to the beach and a short drive to downtown San Diego.
The owner was easy to deal with and answered all of my questions promptly. We all had a great time!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property--it's clean, spacious, bright, and close to everything (including the beach and the restaurants). The kitchen is outstanding, as is the outdoor seating area. The owner is very prompt in responding to inquiries, too. It's a great property. We will definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. Property was spacious well equipped and ideally situated for beaches and for visiting San Diego activities as well as North up to Carlsbad. Lisa was very responsive to any questions we had and worked to ensure that a couple of glitches we had were resolved. We would definitely wish to stay here again if back in the area.

Clean property in nice quiet residential neighborhood but yet easy to get to beaches and shops and restaurants. No hotel parking fees, laundry in unit, 3 nice beds and 2 bathrooms worked very nice for our group of 4 and Lisa was always very quick and prompt helping with questions prior to the booking as well as after we checked in. Thanks for a great stay.

Spacious and very nice apartment that the whole family enjoyed. We spent 3 1/2 weeks there and did not want to leave. Very clean and well furnished. Comfortable beds. Nice outdoor space with Weber grill. Quiet street, and also close to everything in La Jolla. We went for lots of trips, walks, hikes and joined Life Time Fitness (highly recommended). All in all this apartment is a great place to stay in La Jolla.

Great experience at the Beach Barber Tract property. Everything in the property is exactly as pictured and we were pleasantly surprised for some partial ocean views from the kitchen. We hope to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and walking distance into town and to the beach. Lisa was very responsive to all communications and very helpful. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and very comfortable and on a quiet street. It is all very up to date and clean. Lisa recently had Apple TV installed and the outside back area is now used just by the upstairs unit (the downstairs unit has their own outside space in the front). We will definitely be back.

This property looks exactly like the pictures. It is an easy short walk to the beach and to many great restaurants. It came very well stocked and was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. Wifi was great, my husband and my high-schooler had no problems working and being online for school. We came with two cars (my older daughter was moving into an apartment for school) and parking was easy, lots of street parking and a designated space. The owner was very responsive with emails and even called to check in with us a couple of days into our stay to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this property and will book again when we come to visit our daughter.

We stayed at Lisa's property for two months and wish we could've stayed longer. The photos are very accurate and you can see the water and amazing sunsets from the kitchen. The apartment is well equipped for a long stay and is stocked with everything you could want for a beach vacation. The wifi is fast (although the modem is located in the unit below). We didn't have any problems, but Lisa is available to help throughout the stay and provides great communication. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is only a short 5ish minute walk to the beach. We definitely recommend Lisa's place.

This property is immaculate. Unit feels very new, is tastefully decorated and well stocked with towels, dishes, pots etc. that all seemed newer. Unit feels very spacious and larger than its square footage with the most amazingly comfortable beds! The bedroom with 2 beds and attached bath is very good size but the bathroom is pretty small. As one person I managed just fine with very limited counter space especially as there is ample storage below the sink and above the toilet. May be tight for two people though. We only have two negatives and both are out of the owner's control. First is that the backyard space (which is very cute), is shared with downstairs unit. Especially during a pandemic, we are not keen to share space with people we don't know and were disappointed. We were under the impression that we had the backyard space to ourselves and had planned to eat most of our meals there to avoid restaurants. Our mistake for misreading the description. Downstairs unit had a family of 4 who used the backyard quite often which made it more challenging for us, however, the dining area is extremely comfortable with a bit of an ocean view we enjoyed most meals there instead or took a short 10 min walk and had a picnic on the beach. Do recommend taking a wagon to tote chairs, umbrellas, etc. to the beach. Town is also a short walk and even closer there is a 7-11 and some additional restaurants. The neighborhood is residential and quite lovely. We liked that we were out of the busier area but still walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Our second negative was a group of very loud young men in the unit that is caddy-corner to the back of this unit. They were really LOUD on two separate nights until after 11:30 pm. I really wanted to keep windows open to enjoy the delightful breeze but it was quite annoying. We thankfully had perfect weather and never needed the A/C, but were glad it was there just in case. We were able to park in front of the unit every time as there was always a spot open, but were glad we had the option of the spot provided in the alley behind the house just in case. The property manager responded very quickly and communication was excellent. Had a fabulous stay and would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

The Ocean View unit was a beautifully maintained and extensively furnished place to stay. The second floor unit had easy access and private covered parking. The residential neighborhood is quiet and high quality. Although the main purpose was to help a daughter with a local move, we did take time outs to enjoy the short walk to La Jolla's beaches and local shopping/restaurants.
