Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life on this secluded 9 acre bush block with a winter stream and dam. Property includes: - Bedroom 1 with 1 x QB - Bedroom 2 with 1 x QB - Bedroom 3 with 2 x SB - Bedroom 4 with 2 x SB (walk through to get to main bathroom) - 2 x bathrooms, one accessible from the outside - 1 x hot outdoor shower - Open plan living area with wood fire (wood provided) - Kitchen with fridge, microwave, electric oven and hotplates - Separate bar fridge - Indoor and outdoor dining tables both seat 8 people - Living room with Smart TV and Bluetooth stereo - Split-system heating and cooling in living area - Free Wi-Fi - Iron and ironing board - Gas BBQ - Linen is provided and is included in the cost, including sheets, doonas with covers, pillows with pillow cases, as well as tea towels and bath mat. BYO bath towels, face washers and hand towels. - Parking for 4 cars So if you want to kick or hit a ball with the kids, walk the surrounding bush tracks or simply sit on the deck and watch the wildlife, you can! The property is a 10 minute drive to Dunsborough and to Smiths Beach with other southwest attractions easily accessible. Number of guests is strictly limited to 8 people. Any number over this is breaching the short stay conditions. This is a no-smoking property. Strictly no parties, weddings or large group gatherings. The property will not be rented to Leavers. Any breaches of these conditions may result in the loss of your bond.

The accommodation was not accurately portrayed on the website
In order to go to the one indoor toilet you had to go through a bedroom.
This was very difficult at night and should have been disclosed on the website, especially considering the high cost of the stay. We will not be returning here

Overall it wasn't bad staying here. But a few things that annoyed us that others may want to be aware of.
- The layout is super weird. You have to walk through a bedroom in order to get to the inside bathroom, and 1 of the bedrooms is external. So if you have 2 families with young kids, this is not ideal. (Also one of the kids rooms opens directly to the outdoors with no way to lock it with a key from the inside, so again not great for young kids).
- One bedroom has blinds or curtains AT ALL.
- A few issues with cleanliness, e.g. what seemed like dog hairs in one of the beds. I asked for new sheets & pillowcases for that bed, and was told there was no spare linen available, and that we should just put them in the washing machine or vacuum the sheets.
- We booked in July, for a stay in December and had to pay the full amount (over $2,500) upfront. This just seemed a bit mean.
Apart from these initial issues, it was a nice place to stay with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The location is good, 10min from many attractions.

Perfect «not so little » spot to escape the city life, great outdoor for the kids to explore and have fun (thanks for the zip line too) , all the wildlife came to introduce themselves , close distance to all kind of activities if you wish to have any.
The house was spacious, clean, tidy and the kitchen was well furnished (always welcome when you have kids)

Hosts were great with communication. The house was spotless and well accommodated our group. Lovely outdoor area for kids to play.

We stayed with 4 kids aged between 11 and 16. All of us loved being there. There are lots of things to do closeby, if you wish to. You could also stay right there and enjoy the surroundings.
Each of our kids found spaces to enjoy on the property. The birds are amazing. The house is perfect. It has all that you could want. It was peaceful and fun. A beautiful place to spend time together.

Perfect location, close to all must do's Down South. While still giving that remote, country feeling of being away from all the craziness and bustling holiday crowd that is so common this time of year (Jan). Great for kids and relaxing for adults. Highly recommend and will return to this location agin.

This property was perfect for my 3 teenagers and I. All had a bedroom to themselves. It is close to everything pretty much 10 mins from Dunsborough, Yallingup and smiths beach and beautiful and quiet compared to the craziness of Dunsborough at this time of year. The hosts are great good communication and very easy checkin

Our family of four (parents with our two boys of primary school age) enjoyed our stay at this property. The block is large, with a tree house and zip line for the kids to play in, and plenty of space to kick a ball or bash around on their bikes. The boys also enjoyed exploring the property.
The house itself was lovely inside - clean and tidy when we arrived. It's nice to have linen and towels provided also. We were a bit cold in the evenings despite the warm days so the wood fire and reverse cycle heater were welcome. I think it could get quite warm inside in the summer so it's worth noting that there is air-conditioning, and I saw a pedestal fan in one bedroom too. I think you could comfortably stay here as two families, or two couples. We enjoyed having a bbq dinner each night, looking out over the property as the kangaroos came to visit. The kangaroos were the highlight for our 5yo.
Owners were very responsive to questions.
Would consider staying again!

Perfect place for a rural getaway with a vast property to explore with the kids. The treehouse and rope swings were a hit as were the creek and fire pits. Comfortable beds and everything we needed.

A gem hidden amongst the trees. Immaculate property with all you need to relax. Kids loved the tree swing and zip line. Will definitely be back in the future.

Perfect Family space / stay
As busy as the Yallingup area can be in peak season this stay was the perfect quiet place to escape to after long days on the beach. I highly recommend this to any family wanting a spacious, clean and comfortable location to escape the crowds while still being close to all the features of the region you travel to experience. I will definitely be returning to this stay.

Great bush getaway for kids and the rest of the family
Was private and had everything that you needed to have a quintessential Aussie bush experience. The kids loved the flying fox and the dam.

Delaros
Our family enjoyed our stay at Delaros bush retreat. Clean, well equipped home and very tidy outdoor area. Zip line was a hit for all. Lots of room for the kids to run, and even had a couple of kangaroo friends stop past. Would highly recommend. Communication with the owner was excellent too.

Perfect family getaway
Delaros Bush Retreat is a perfect family getaway Down South. The residence is newly constructed and well presented with the open-plan living providing a simple but fun family environment. The surrounding private bush-land provides plenty of space for the kids to explore and create their own adventures - and the flying-fox is a massive hit with kids! The location is outstanding, close to all of our favourite venues in the region.
