I had a very enjoyable stay at Quail's Nest during perhaps the coldest week of the year. The cabin was warm and quaint having everything I needed for a stay during which I hiked DeSoto State Park, which is close by. I would definitely return in the future!

If you are looking for seclusion then this is not the place. Beautiful cabin but very small (less than 600ft) no privacy inside or out. Could hear every time husband used the bathroom. Can see and hear at least 4 other cabins from the front and back porch. Hot tub was outdated. No head rests and one of the knobs was broken. Also no extra blankets just a sheet and thin comforter on the bed. Hot water was a little “iffy”. Worked for my shower but not my husbands. We only stayed for two days and would have probably been unhappy if we had stayed longer than that. Also not a lot of things to drive to quickly other than a dollar general.

Beautiful cabin--a little on the pricey side--but still worth it. Convenient to beautiful trails. Only one place to eat nearby, but was a great meal. Only real complaint is I had a question and the person who answered the phone seemed bothered to have to help me.

The property was well cared for, clean, well furnished and cozy. The kitchen had a combo Keurig pod and pot coffee maker, it was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glassware etc. It was in a very quiet and peaceful setting.

We were VERY comfortable with our stay in this cabin for our mothers day weekend trip my dad sent us on! first time with no children or husbands and we couldn't have asked for a better place and location!!

clean but needs a few things, dead trees on lot pieces falling on truck, no smoke detector in home for safety and fees for small getaway could be lil more reasonable and instructions where things are located and last gps takes you past the location to a rock lot.. has great potential thanks for the stay... oh another 2 night stay min with availiabilty late int he afternoon @ 4 isnt fair... be definitely more reasonable on times cuz theres not a full 2 night 3 day stay thanks....

The Cabin was charming. It's close enough to town to run get things. There are several things to do in the area or you can just stay in and get some peace and quiet. Host was very helpful and very nice.

We liked the location but the cabin was not cleaned well at all, the floors were cruddy and sticky. The dryer took very long to dry clothes and it ruined some of our clothes. The hot water was limited, ran out quickly.

Our family had a wonderful time at Mentone Cabins. The cabin was clean and included all of the amenities we needed. The management also contacted us to make sure that we had all that we needed. It was even decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed every minute of our time there! The roads leading to it are scenic and it is located in a quiet little town only about 45 minutes from Chattanooga. It was the perfect getaway for a family of three. Would definitely recommend!

Pictures do not do this quaint rental justice. We did not want to leave. Owners have thought of everything to have waiting for you. Perfect location to all sight seeing adventures and short drive to town. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great 3 night getaway for our anniversary. The cabin is very convenient to Desoto Falls and trails, as well as Desoto Park and Little River Canyon Falls. It's quiet and peaceful and just what we needed!

The property was everything as described. It was exactly what we wanted. This was our first VRBO experience & it was a good one. Devin was easy to work with. The hiking was fabulous, the falls were disappointing due to the drought. We will just have to go back! Mentone was disappointing, nothing there. We went to enjoy the changing leaves & they were beautiful.

We loved the little cabin. It had everything we needed and decorated really cute! I guess the only negative I would have is the beds. I feel like the mattresses could have been better and needed heavier bedding. The bedspread was too light weight to not have another blanket. Other than that it was great!
