Great place, very kind host

Beautiful location with stunning view to the sea. The host was truly very friendly and kind, we appreciated his help greatly. Highly recommend this place to anyone, we will probably come back next year aswell.

The shower was surprisingly small, my husband couldn't turn around in it, which was a bit odd. Also the shower head could be replaced with something more user friendly 😂 If the aim is to save water, I understand though.

Schöner Strand

Wir hatten Zimmer Nr.8 mit schönem Blick auf den Garten, die Umgebung und das Meer. Sicherer Parkplatz, gute Betten, gutes Frühstück. Sehr schöner, sauberer Strand.

Extrem kleine Duschkabine, bücken oder Bein heben nicht möglich! Keine Moskitonetze! Frühstücksgeschirr muss vom Gast aufgeräumt werden, was aber nirgends steht bzw. ersichtlich war, was einem aber dann als Aufforderung vom Gastgeber nachgerufen wurde! 15 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand auf einer stark befahrenen, engen Straße ohne Bürgersteig! Fährt man mit dem Auto - Parkplatzkosten am Strand (6€ ganzer Tag). Frühstück gab's ab 8:30.

Superb

The view from our room was excellent. The breakfast included alot of fresh and tasty fruit. The host was very kind and helpful. Would recommend to stay a few days, if you are travelling through this area of Sicily.

Nice view of the sea and excellent breakfast

The apartment is in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the sea. The room with balcony that we had was clean, spacious, the staff is very friendly - they speak good English. The parking space is in their yard behind the fence. The breakfast is excellent - they have not only sweet things, but also salami, cheese, butter, jam, juice, coffee, tea,... You can eat breakfast on their terrace. Would recommend this apartments - especially if you have a car

The chairs and table on the balcony could be more comfortable. The door handle in the toilet squeaks (could be fixed in a few sec. with WD 40). Useful to be with a vehicle.

The room and location are adequate for the price and location.

The location was very close to train station, so if one has baggage it makes one's walk easier. The walk to Castellammare del Golfo is a distance of about 1.8 miles, so be prepared for a round trip of about 4 miles. The views amd scenery are excellent.though along the walk.

Would be better if there was a bus one could take from the train station to Castellammare del Golfo.

Perfect holiday!

The hotel is charming, located in a quiet and peaceful location, and it has a nice view of the seaside. The breakfast offered in the morning was fantastic, and the staff was always very kind and helpful. They had private parking spots, so it was easy to park. The location is very strategic to easily reach several touristic destinations by car, but if you don't feel like driving, you can easily walk to the nearest beach (about 10 minutes).

Honestly, I have no complaints. Everything went incredibly well, and I would definitely return. I have been recommending this place to friends and family since our staying there.

great place for peaceful stay!!

- breakfast: quality + quantity = really good and outside on the terrasse - the house is peaceful and calm - the host is kind and helpful! - close to the Castellammare railway station and very close to the beach

- we didn’t rent a car so we have to walk a little bit to join the village (~2km). But don’t worry, the host can organize transfer for you if you need

The hotel is really cozy, clean, elegant and with a beautiful sea view. We have traveled with our little daughter 1,5 y.o. Recording our request the administration of the hotel have prepared a baby crib upon our arrival. We are very grateful for that. Actually its a very nice comfortable place for travellers with a children. In the yard of the hotel you can find some entertainments and furniture for babies. The room is well furnitured and polished like 3-4* star hotel. Everything works properly (air condition, mini fridge, TV, hairdryier). Breakfast is served in closed terrace, but half of the tables are situated outside. So its possible to have your breakfast and enjoy a sew view. Breakfast was served as a mini buffet with cheese, fruit, ham and really wide selection of pastry. The owners of the hotel are nice and not annoying people

Its could be nice idea to make any sign or direction with name of the B&B in the road. So it will make more easy to find it.

Excellent and friendly staff makes you feel at home. Great and fresh breakfast with nice coffee and local fruit. Rooms are cleaned every day and are very nice. Would come back anytime!

The location is great, but it’s nice to know in advance that it’s almost a must to go by car anywhere as the mountain roads are steep and cars go by fast.

Decent place

Beach is amazing, we (two 25years old) could walk there, but with kids you should take the car (road is a bit dangerous). View from the room was perfect. Room was also in a good state and very clean. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect for trips to any village in West-Sicily.

Did not get a warm welcome, the host was quite impatient. He also seemed to have had a great interest in- and laugh with- the Italians, but acted a bit fake to us. Somehow the airconditioning did not work the first night (we tried everything), it was extremely hot. Second day it did work eventually. (minor thing: TV did not receive RAI1, so we couldn't watch the Olympics)

Wonderful experience

The staff was incredibly friendly and patient. They provided a great atmosphere. The view was incredible and the owner made himself available to us and answered all of our questions

Very good

This accomodation was really lovely! The breakfast was amazing and the staff were helpful and nice. It was a great place to stay!

We arrived by bus (I.e. didn’t rent a car) and the location was not ideal for this as the walk to the beach was not really suitable for pedestrians. The aircon worked most of the time but one night it was broken which made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Pleasant

...solid, well built house, a kind of an oasis in the landscape...obviously they work hard to keep/maintain and make money with it, perhaps these hard Corona times explain his obvious Scrooge type behavior...

...misleading photo(s) as out of ~15 rooms, only two have "sea view" (and terrace/balcony) and most do not look over the sea but over the parking or over a "packed" garden. Obviously to me(!), Luigi is a "Scrooge" type and hopefully he will learn out something out of this (I really did think long if to make a review...): due to circumstances, he's got the money for the first night free (as I could not make it there) and although the reservation was for one night, I did call twice and informed that I would like to stay more nights, hace showed up second day and expressed will to stay 3 nights (which I did) Upon my arrival, Luigi pretended to make "heavy" arrangements to accommodate me for the next 3 nights (although there were free rooms on the booking.com site), asked more mobey than what was displayed when I made the 1st booking!) BUT he denied giving at least a corneto or a croissant ( that would cost him perhsos 1€...) to have for breakfast in the last morning as I departed 1/2 h earlier than the normal starting time for the breakfast (8h00)...well, at 7h30 Luigi was there to receive the keys and was fully prepared and ready with everything for the breakfast, I could not believe his behaviour and "arguments" to avoid that I had anything small to eat!?!? His argument was that I announced early departure and as such....hard, very hard for me to believe although, by putting together various "small" details, I think I have got a good image about his character...everywhere there are signs of "no smoking" BUT he smokes very stinking cigarets and quite a lot around around the house, he does not seem to care that it could and it would disturbed others that are real non-smokers (we has aware! from the very begining that I have a problem with the smoke but just kept doing it, perhaps he wanted to punish me for being open and direct about it...
