Friendly and very helpful staff who are willing to give you the best advice on what to do in the area. Some nice guests and it's really nice that the hostel has a bar on site too. The outdoor area of the hostel is probably the best thing as it can be relaxing and it's beautiful.

The kitchen policy was not clear. You have to pay extra (€2 pp) for each day that you use the kitchen, and that was the only place to get water as well, and it was not fully equipped: there wasn't enough cutlery or plates/bowls for guests to use. It's very weird that the doors do not have locks or keys, so there is no way to lock the door at any time. There are safe boxes inside the rooms for storage which do have keys. Even though it felt safe enough to not lock the doors, it's very strange. The room was as a box room which was a bit uncomfortable and hot.

The location was very good, 5’ from the beach. Also the place was spacious and had plenty of showrooms.

Great location in San Jose, a short walk from the beach and other amenities. Comfortable, clean rooms and a nice patio and terrace area. The bar is also a great thing to have although it is cash only. Overall, a great place to stay in San Jose.

The 6pm check is very late in the day. The reception is basically shut all afternoon and had the cleaner not been there when I arrived at 3pm I would have been stuck with all my luggage.

The room can't be locked. I was woken up at 4:30 a.m. with a noise from another room as someone was probably having a bad dream and was wailing. It scared me to death thinking what could have been possibly going on and that my door was unlocked.

Lavabos to hand wash your clothes. The outside space was fabulous. The line to put your clothes to dry. Showers are pretty. Good Location. Pretty large lockers.

That i had to pay an extra fee for the sheets but at the same time I had to make my bed and take off the sheets on the checkout. Beds are not the best but not the worst either, they are ok. I didn't like the fact that you need to pay a deposit to borrow a plate and a glass.

The host lady was rude and insulting, no AC, no air circulation, no wifi, mosquitos, sheets too small for mattress, no kitchen, by far the worst night sleep, run away!
