We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend stay with our family. The location on the lake was amazing and we really enjoyed using the paddle boards and canoe. We could even bring our boat! The porch and the fire pit were put to good use as well! Mark was great at communicating everything while we there. Thanks Mark for great stay!

We had an incredible stay at the Cabin at Cane Creek! Water was perfect & a beautiful emerald green which we enjoyed for hours on the provided paddleboards & canoes! Fished right off the dock with the provided rods. Mark & Nancy thought of everything in this house! Every utensil, bowl, appliance you could want. Comfortable beds and lush sheets & towels. We rented a boat at Keowee Marina and ate at the Trailhead Tavern (closest place & had great wings) and The lighthouse. Got a workout going up and down to the water! Missing the quiet mornings enjoying coffee on the enclosed porch rockers watching the squirrels! Thank you for opening up your adorable home! Hoping to come back and check out some hiking trails next time!

We enjoyed our week in the cabin. Plenty to do on the water. I recommend renting a boat, worth it on so many levels. Mark is a great host and gives you everything you need to have a relaxing stay!

Great place to get away and just relax. From the little touches that the cabin was decorated in to fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and grilling off the back deck, it was a fun close to home getaway.

Beautiful location. Cool quirky log cabin especially upstairs with the varied ceilings and materials. We had 3 elderly grandparents and they could not enjoy going down to the lake due to the steep slope. It was hard to tell from the pictures of the back yard how steep the slope was. But overall a cool cabin.

This is a Great Lake cabin with a full stocked kitchen and house amenities for the lake. Beds are very comfortable too. Mark, the owner was very responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

The house was perfect for a relaxing week! It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the water daily and spent time in nearby Clemson. The kids went tubing and fishing. We had several game nights and s'mores by the fire. Everyone had a great time. Thank you!

House was very clean, convient to grocery stores and restraunts. Walkway is pretty steep for little ones, but view was awesome!

Working in Healthcare through Covid has been a nightmare and having a few days Gere was just what we needed to disconnect from everything else and enjoy our family. The house was so cute and had everything we needed. Having access to the canoe and paddleboards was awesome and kept the kids entertained. Hosts made access and asking questions a breeze. Looking forward to visiting again.

Exactly what we have hoped for
This cabin was a perfect stay for us. The scenery outside was peaceful and loved the night time around the campfire. We took advantage of the canoes and the kids enjoyed the fishing. Everything in the cabin is very well stocked especially the kitchen. Great communication between the owner. Just a text away! Great memories were made with family there!

The only thing we needed to do is buy the food that we wanted to cook. The kitchen was packed with all the cookware needed. The lake, fire pit and fireplace were added bonus.

Lake house had lots of character- almost log cabin like. Cozy. Well appointed - linens were great, very organized & supplied kitchen utensils. Communication with owner was great. Appreciate the supplied firewood for fire pit. Nice having paddle boards on the dock vs carrying them down.

Great stay, property met expectations. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked multiple meals and everything we needed was there. (not having a garbage disposal in the sink was a bit of extra work) View from fire pit is fantastic. Easy to get to grocery store. Hikes in both SC and NC are within easy distance.

Quiet and relaxing
We visited the cabin with 2 "best friend framilies" to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Our idea of "celebrate" is relax and enjoy nature, and that is just what we did. The cabin was just as listed and fit us all (2 couples, and 5 teen/adult kids) just fine. Beds were quite comfortable. And the shower head downstairs was awesome! I really want to find out what kind it was. Everything we could have needed was provided.
But truthfully, it is the outdoor areas that drew us. We enjoyed paddling the lake on the SUPS, canoe, and extra kayaks we brought with us. The water was beautiful, and refreshing to swim in. In the evening, we enjoyed gazing at the stars from around the fireplace. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Overall, a very enjoyable extended weekend!

Great Lake Keowee rental

Had a great stay. Property was just what we needed to bring our boat. Had fun on local trails with waterfalls. Nightly fires with the kids.

Wonderful vacation!
We had a wonderful stay. Nancy and Mark had thought of all needs for guests and very responsive to questions or issues. We are boaters and skiers and the dock was great. We also enjoyed the paddle boards and canoe. Fun was had by all. We would definitely come again!

Loved the location, the SUPs, canoe, porch, and the creek itself. We spent the majority of each day at the dock and in the water.
The kitchen was clean and well equipped, hosts did a super job communicating.
Will definitely stay again!
