Great space with the high pitched ceiling, well kept lovely garden full of beach house character and very close to the river which was beautiful to walk along at night. Lots of spots to fish and comfy chairs to read in. Loved it

We enjoyed the location and the pet friendly yard and the welcoming approach of our host. A close location to a dog park and the river walk all made for a great weekend. Unfortunately the weather was against us but our accommodation certainly set the scene for the opportunity which we will try again in another season!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away with 3 girls and 3 fur babies. The house was comfortable and clean , with a lovely grassed garden area . Easy to cook and clean and enjoy the garden . All amenities included. Would have liked a doggy door and fly screens on the front and back door . Was a lovely relaxing stay .

We had a fantastic stay at this property, a character weatherboard in a great location, fully equipped kitchen, and a meticulously cared for yard. Would rate higher with more comfortable mattresses and better blinds in bedrooms.

Perfect location with river at the end of the street and a short walk to main beach. Bonus is being pet friendly. We loved being able to take our fur child with us and she loved the big backyard… every dog’s dream!!! Ample room for a family of 4. Perfect Ocean Grove beach shack!! Can’t wait to stay here again!

This property is the best property we have stayed through STAYZ until now. It was super clean including beds, floors, kitchenware and bathroom. The entire property is so well maintained and although a few things do need improvement such as the shower head we were extremely happy. There was plenty of room for our 3 kids and a flat screen up in the loft. The house has plenty of natural light and the split systems (x2) is perfect for winter and summer stays. The bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets and doonas and every single one was clean. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, kettle all in perfectly working condition along with more appliances like a milkshake maker and sandwich press. The backyard is spotless and perfect for little kids in terms of safety and heaps of sitting space with umbrellas and a bbq. The house is only a few houses from the water joining Lake Conneware and the beach perfect for fishing and a five minute walk from the local petrol station and cafes. Rob was so easy to communicate with and I did not have to ask a single question as he addressed everything in a detailed email close to our booking date. The wifi connection was great so the kids were very comfortable in the evenings with their ipads. Finally, the property is a fantastic holiday home with a holiday vibe and we enjoyed every single minute being in this home and can’t wait to go back!

The property was great and loved the locations as per my stars above, nice quiet neighbourhood and driving distance to some nice wineries. House was well presented but didn't have most of what we needed including basics such as; sheets/linen, instant coffee and hand towels at the price paid. Would've enjoyed a friendlier email without the capital letters, bit OTT. Regardless of above, we enjoyed our stay, thanks for having us.

We really loved our holiday at this property. It was so relaxing. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed including a beautiful spacious garden. It was so conveniently located to the beach. Rob was a pleasure to deal with in his communications. I would highly recommend this house for a family holiday.

Stayed here along with a friends, young kids and a lab. Clean & tidy and the house had everything for a relaxed weekend away. Good backyard space for kids to run around with our lab. Would highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely couple of days here. The house was clean, comfortable and a great location. Rob was excellent to communicate with, answering our questions quickly. The back garden was safe and secure for our dog and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening.

Our family including our dog had a wonderful holiday. The house was clean an inviting, just like the photos, and the yard was well secured and would be great for both children and dogs. The location was great with a short walk to the river which provided an easy walk to the beach and was well positioned with access to both Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove for shopping and dinner options. We had everything we could have wanted in a holiday rental at this property. Close to the river, close to the main strip of shops, massive backyard which our dogs absolutely adored, Comfortable beds, comfortable living areas, super functional kitchen space – it was a perfect way to spend Easter 2021. The Beach House is a well appointed home with a relaxed feel. It has a big backyard and is also suitable for dogs. It's very close to the beach and a short drive to shops. We liked the morning sun streaming in during early morning and also the afternoon sun in the "sunroom". Great location and setting.
