We really enjoyed our stay at Mary’s place. It was clean and was as advertised. We loved the lake front and the kiddos (my 18,21,&24 yr olds) enjoyed the kayaks. It was perfect for the 8 of us. Mary was easy to talk to and communicating with her was a breeze. We would go back and stay again if it’s available the next time we are in town. Thank you Mary!!

We loved the location and outdoor space. House interior could have been better maintained and cleaned before we arrived. No large indoor hanging around space or place to do a puzzle or play a game. Kitchen table is large picnic table and benches and not that comfortable. Not huge deal breakers because we spent as much time as possible outdoors.

Awesome time on Keuka, loved the location, we are former residents of Hammondsport so we knew the area well. All accommodations were perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s home in keuka lake! The property had everything we needed to feel at home! There was a huge deck where we spent the majority of our time in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen was large as well and accommodated our group of 8 and our 2 dogs perfectly! The access to the lake via the new stairs was convenient as well, especially with our 2 younger children! They had a blast playing in the water! We also enjoyed the kayaks and 2 tiered lawn space! The only thing this house lacks is a large living room space for tv/movies during inclement weather. This was not really an issue because we did spend the majority of time outside. We will definitely be staying there again! Mary was very easy to keep in touch with and checked in with us as needed during our stay, thank you again Mary for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!

We read all the good reviews of this property and assumed we’d found a great place. We were wrong There is an elevator that allows for access from the road down to the property but it is not accessible by guests. So be ready to hike up and down MANY steep steps with luggage and belongings. Try doing so with a dog and small children and someone’s bound to get hurt. Upon entering the house at check in, we instantly noticed the VERY strong smell of mold/mildew. We opened all windows in an attempt to air it out. After the first night, many of us woke up with allergies/sore throats. My mother had to use an inhaler all weekend long and considered sleeping out on the deck to avoid the mold in the house. Definitely not suitable for anyone with allergies/asthma or susceptibility to breathing problems. While sitting down to eat dinner the first night, we opened a drawer in the kitchen and found 4 utility knives, all with open blades as well as pocket knives and screw drivers. Glad an adult found them before the young kids did. We also found open super glue bottles, chemicals throughout the house easily accessible to small kids or pets and medications sporadically placed throughout the house. This is definitely not a kid or pet friendly house. House was overall in poor shape. Almost no water pressure inside. Shower shuts off when someone turns on sink or washer. Window AC units are full of mold and do not work. I am not one to write reviews. But after the owner messaged me a day after checking out and accused my party of breaking things and leaving dog poop on the floor in the house and telling me she would be filing a claim for it all, it annoyed me enough to want to let others know that this house is not worth the price per night. I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was by far the worst experience. My family spent a good 2 hrs cleaning up the place and sweeping off the decks prior to checkout to ensure it was left the way we found it at check in. If there was broken glass from a busted light on the deck as the owner claims and dog poop on a bedroom floor, we most certainly would’ve cleaned it up before one of the 5 kids with us stepped in it or got hurt. We even took the time to make all of the beds...why would we leave poop on the floor!? There are many nice lake houses for rent, many of which are in much better shape and kid friendly. Definitely would not consider this property again.

Had a great stay this past weekend! House has a beautiful view, huge docks and a great porch area to enjoy family style eating and late night beverages. Tons of room inside and out. Wish I could stay all summer! Communication with the host was quick and easy.

Loved the deck, especially the covered dining area. Ate every meal with fantastic views. Sunsets were beautiful. Dock is large and my girls loved lying out there under the sun. Caught several fish casting from the dock. Great location, just a short drive to Hammondsport. 4 bedrooms were more than enough for our family, would easily accommodate 2-3 families. TV and living area small, but we weren’t there to stay inside all day.

We absolutely loved our weekend here. The views are stunning, the lake was clear, the outdoor spaces at this house were absolutely beautiful and the house was stocked with most supplies you would need.

We had the best time visiting the finger lakes and staying at your wonderful property. The weather was fantastic. We were able to go to wineries during the day and have a campfire at night. It was so relaxing and we'll definitely be back again!!

We come to the Finger Lakes each year for a family long weekend. This was our first time on Keuka Lake and we really enjoyed it. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Mary was great to work with and helped out quickly and efficiently when there was an issue with a breaker. We felt completely at home and there was plenty of room for all of us. Can't wait to come back to the lakes next year!

Loved this place! It has a great location for being on the lake and the desk is beautiful and huge. I visited for a weekend with some of my friends to tour some of the vineyards and this place was ideal since after we were done, there was a lot to do still which included having a bonfire by the lake and playing board games inside. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again in the future!

This house has everything you could need. The deck was absolutely amazing and we loved the fire pit. There's so many wonderful wineries nearby too. Thanks for everything!! We will definitely be back!

The outdoor space at this home was fantastic. The dock was easy to use for our 22 ft boat. We enjoyed fires every night and took advantage of all of the deck space. The inside of the home was clean and well kept. Highly recommended, we will rent here again!

We had a great week and Mary was a great host. The new shelter on the deck is a great addition. We all loved the swimming in clean, clear water. Our Sunfish had a lift dock under shelter and the kayaks provided were used all week. The large deck enabled us to enjoy the out doors and the large eating area in the kitchen is terrific. The power lift overcame the problem of the steps and made loading much easier. This was our second visit to this property.

This is definitely a great vacation rental......the pictures don't do it justice! My family and friends had a very enjoyable stay. The inside of the cottage was clean and fit all of our needs. The bathrooms are nice and there was plenty of sleeping space. The outside area gives you lots of room for fun and fishing. We really enjoyed the wrap-around deck sitting up high overlooking the lake. This is also a dog-friendly rental so it was certainly a bonus having our doggy with us. We will definitely book this place again in the future! Joe W.

This is a very clean cottage. The deck is absolutely awesome. We had 4 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit together for a meal. The firepit was a highlight located just by the lake. Peaceful and enjoyable. We would definitely rent again in the future. Owners very accommodating and helpful!. A great place. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views, clear water...2 of the bedrooms have spectacular views. A lot of stairs but there is a service elevator for handicapped individuals. Very nice people who own the property.

More than expected

This was the ideal location for a low-key, modest bachelor party - but it would be perfect for a family getaway, too. The beautiful wraparound deck is enormous, and provided plenty of room for yard games like cornhole and beirut, and the docks saw plenty of fishing action. Accommodations were exceptionally comprehensive - we brought our own kitchen supplies, but if we'd forgotten a fry pan or forks, we could have easily used the supplies on site. The mornings were serene, the evenings were boisterous, and everyone had a great time. 10/10, would rent again.

Property is well maintained. Great getaway. Quiet and clean. Hope to return someday. Will promote to friends and family.
