This 3-bedroom 2-bathroom 1700 sq foot home with a heated pool is equipped with comfortable furniture and appliances. Located between Manasota Beach (5-minute drive). This is a location that is hard to beat! This lovely Florida vacation rental sleeps six guests in three bedrooms plus one more on a sofa bed in the living room. Two generous full-sized bathrooms provides convenience for everyone. The pool area is screened so you are assured of complete privacy and protection from insects, while in the winter months, enjoy the warmth of the pool heated with a reliable electric heat-pump. A screened lanai makes a great place for tucking your feet up and enjoying another perfect sunny day. Indoors, stay cool with central air conditioning. All bedrooms feature queen size beds, dressers, mattresses and quality linens. Our house provides the space to fully unpack, with large walk-in closets in each bedroom. Should you ever grow tired of the pool or nearby beach, however unlikely that might be, Netflix is provided as a source of TV entertainment - you can enjoy it in the family room on a 50 in smart TV or in a comfort of the master bedroom on a 32 in screen. If you need to get on internet or even do some work inside the house or out near the pool - the high-speed Frontier 200 Mbps FiOS WiFi internet service is there for you. Feeling competitive? Why not try a friendly game of foosball with your kids or grandkids. learn a few new moves while at it. Available washer and dryer means less clothes to bring . Imagine a vacation where you return feeling healthier than when you left! A car is needed to get around Venice efficiently. There are a few beaches around accessible with a car. Note about South Venice Beach Ferry: South Venice Beach is accessible only (well, technically it is still possible to access it on foot if you like a long sandy beach walk) with a private ferry. We allowed our guests to use our ferry pass complimentary for years, but from January 2022 the South Venice Association made changes and the ferry passes are now managed via phone app. As a result, we can not offer a pass any more. However, you may still be able to buy your own pass if you wish - you will be required to show a valid lease (VRBO or AirBnB confirmation of rental) for the time period of your rental. If it’s less than 30 days, and no other pass has been entered for that month, a 30-day pass may be purchased. The 30-day pass is non-transferable. There is NO REFUND for time unused within that 30 days. (if you are here for 10 days, the minimum time you can purchase is still 30 days). There maybe additional limitations regarding calendar months - please check this at the time of pass purchase.

My wife and I started Shark tooth hunting about 3 years ago and up until now had driven from Siesta Key down each day we wanted to go. Manasota Key beach has been our favorite spot. I found this for a late add trip and tired it and love the house. Communication with Artur is superb, the house is in a very quiet neighborhood, with lots of room both in the house and your private pool. Each morning we went to Manasota Key and it took <10 minutes each day, there are no businesses on the way, just Gopher Tortoises to keep an eye open for!

Even though the area looked like a bomb went off the house took minimal damage. We had electric unlike several places in the area and the a/c and pool worked so we were good. You never know how much good the pool screens do until a few are missing. The owner Artur was a pleasure to rent from and he took very good care of all our needs. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a great time staying at this Vrbo property. It was large enough for our local family members to come over for dinner with a nice large dining table and fabulous outdoor area around the pool. The kitchen is well-stocked with pot and pans and we appreciated having a washer/dryer available along with TVs in the bedrooms. The pool is larger than most rentals and we enjoyed floating.

Artur is very helpful and responsible. Every time we have some question, text him, we always got his dependable response soon. After hurricane he sent us photos of the property and provide us some options. In fact, the damage of the house is NOT severe. We enjoy our vacation and hope come back soon.

Huge home close to beaches
Huge home! Excellent beaches within 2-5 miles. The pool was perfect for an evening swim after being on the beach all day. Quiet, friendly neighbors. The owner was excellent, we had a pretty big issue in the middle of our stay and he answered my call immediately and was quick to remedy. Cleaning could be better (sticky kitchen floor, dishes put away dirty) and it's an older home in need of maintenance (owner said he is coming in a few weeks to do work on the home) but overall it was a great stay, and we would stay again.

Great quiet location to spend time with family. Loved the pool area. Loved the heated pool. Our son gained more confidence with swimming. He went from sitting only on the step to swimming across the pool with a pool noodle. He called it our house with the pool. Great quick location to get to the beaches and to area restaurants.

Once we arrived and ordered groceries we literally were in need of nothing else. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for cooking a huge dinner or just making a sandwich, the pool area has plenty of seating with a large, well kept pool, directions for the South Venice Beach Ferry are clear and concise and instructions for check in and check out were detailed and easy. The neighborhood is SO quiet. We spent most days never leaving the house. Everything we needed was there. We do not have children, but if you do this house is ideal layout. The master is on the opposite side of home from other 2 bedrooms, there are 2 sitting rooms and children could really enjoy their time in their living room while parents also could get a little peace and quiet easily. Home is conveniently located near the town of Venice, and I can't imagine needing something and not being able to acquire it quickly. Artur made us feel welcome and was available for any and all questions while simultaneously not invading anyprivacy.

Good stay
Good location, close to key beaches and shopping. Lots of little lizards running around, definitely the Florida experience. Only thing is the pool area was a little messy, but we swept up the debris and had a good time.

Off location is the nearby beaches, close enough to Sarasota it can be made a day trip. The owner is also transparent on expectations of use of their property, quick to respond to any questions you may have. I would stay again on this property.

Loved the pool and the private beach access
We loved the pool at this rental house. It was perfect for kids, and having a fenced in backyard is nice for pets. The South Venice beach ferry was AWESOME, and we loved having our own beach! The house, itself, shows it’s age and has a strange layout. We found the kitchen very sticky, and did not find towels until halfway through our trip (they were clean, but in the dryer.). We did lose electricity for a few hours during a storm, but that is no fault of the owners. Prior to the trip, I had difficulty connecting with the property owners, but was able to get into contact with them just before the trip.

We booked this house for 9 days over the fourth of July this year. There was plenty of room for my family of 6 plus our dogs. The pool area was really nice, we spent most of our time out there. We only ate out twice during our stay so it was realy nice having a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you could need including casserole dishes, big pots, pans, coffee mugs, shot glasses, toaster, microwave, etc... We enjoyed being right around the corner from the beach ferry and only a short drive to the grocery store. The air conditioning works GREAT in this house! We were very comfortable and the fans in every room was a nice touch! The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe during our stay. There are plenty of clean linens & towels & the house itself was very clean. No dust bunnies or random hair anywhere in sight! There is a doggie door in the pool area that leads to a fenced area for the dogs to play and do their business. On the other side their is antoher door that leads to a non fenced area perfect for grilling & checking out the creek that runs along the back of the property. The garage is HUGE and ws perfect for housing our golf cart and our Harley. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice place to stay without breaking the bank. Would definitely stay here again!

Very close to the beach
It was very easy to make reservations. The owner was always accessible. It was close to the beaches. The house was bigger than we needed, probably perfect for a big group. We just wanted a quiet private getaway for our anniversary. Quiet neighborhood.

Quiet House with Pool, Close to Beach
This private home is located in a quiet neighborhood in South Venice. It's only about 5 minutes from a public beach with free parking and only about 3 minutes from the South Venice Ferry which will take you over to a very secluded beach. The house comes with a ferry pass for up to 6 people. Make sure to look for shark teeth during your visit! The house is located on a dead end street backing up to green space, so there is almost no traffic. It made it nice for the kids to ride their scooters without much worry. The property backs directly up to a canal with plenty of privacy trees. My older boys tried fishing in it, but were unsuccessful. The neighbors were very quiet and we hardly noticed them. Having a private pool was a must and the fact that it has a caged enclosure was a bonus. It kept most of the bugs away! The pool deck could have used some attention and good pressure wash, but we didn't notice it much. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (which have direct access to the pool deck so you don't have to walk through the house wet to use the restroom), 2 living rooms (which allowed us to spread out-with 2 teenagers, it gave space for them to veg on their devices when needed), nice size, well-equipped kitchen and large dining room with a table large enough for our family of 6. Artur's check-in/out email was very informative. Our only complaint was upon arrival at 4pm, we discovered the house had not been cleaned and the trash hadn't been taken out. Artur was very responsive and was able to get someone out there that evening. He said due to a scheduling error with the cleaning company had mixed up the day. Since our stay was during a pandemic, we had not planned on eating out, but ended up having to go out for dinner. Sharky's on the Pier was a great beachfront restaurant where we were able to eat and kill some time walking the beach and going out onto the pier. Since we were trying limit our family's exposure, we mostly drove around. Venice is mostly a quiet town with more activity right along the streets closest to the beach. We were finally able to check-in around 9:30pm. Unfortunately, our kids were falling asleep by that time and didn't really get to enjoy the pool our first evening there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a nice change of scenery from quarantine. We would definitely stay again.

Outdated
The location and price couldnt be beat for what we needed. However almost ALL of the furniture is damaged, ripped or very old. Which is fine until the couch faux leather comes off when you touch it. I had to cover the seats by the pool with towels because they were dirty/stained. Most blinds are broken throughout the home and there are no curtains on every window. Definitely outdated but the pool itself was great and it was super close to beautiful beaches

Great low key vacation spot
The house is back in a neighborhood but only minutes from everything you need. Lots of options for beaches, grocery, restaurants all less than a 10 minute drive. The house is older but well maintained. Pool was great. Everything you need to cook, grill, head to the beach or relax at the pool was included.
I feel it was a good value compared to other listings we were considering. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Venice Location and Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home was clean when we arrived, and the basics were available for use. Which is helpful when all you want to do is relax for the first few days. We brought our dogs with us and they loved it just as much! The house is spacious for the Venice area! We never ate at the dining table, but outside by the pool. The grill provided worked fantastic and we used it almost every night. We did have a minor issue with the pool which Artur took care of right away. The pool heats for no extra charge! One day we were able to take advantage of the ferry to the beach and wished we had enough time to do it again. Best things to do in Venice: Manasota Key Beach, Ferry to beach, Brohard Paw Park beach (if you have dogs), Caspersen beach…see the theme here? The Manasota Key Beach is an 8 minute drive away and you can catch the sunset every night! The one restaurant I could recommend would be Snook Haven. We went back for lunch twice. There is so many positives about renting this house the only negative would be the cable situation. No ESPN to watch football. Fortunately, you can use your cable info to sign into the ESPN app on Roku. Artur is great and was quick to respond to us. Thanks for letting us stay! We will be back!
