A beautifully maintained 3 bedroom villa with private pool and rooftop terrace
About this villa rental
Situated in Kalkan Belediyesi, this lovely villa for $316 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Villa ANSAH is a refurbished, deceptively spacious, 3 bedroom detached villa nestled in the hillside of the desirable Kiziltas region, boasting some of the best sea views of Kalkan and the surrounding area. Set in its own grounds the villa is in a peaceful and tranquil location with an enclosed mature garden to the rear. To the front there is a private driveway for one reasonably sized family car, a private swimming pool, pool terrace with sun loungers, parasols and poolside tables. There are separate raised seating and dining areas that comfortably accommodate 8 people, both with spectacular views. Inside, the open plan, air conditioned, kitchen lounge and diner is light and spacious and has been tastefully decorated blending contemporary elements with an underlying Ottoman theme. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard fitted with Bosch appliances. There are two three seater sofas, two armchairs, a flat screen TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi. Two of the double bedrooms are located on the first floor. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have en-suites. The master bedroom has access to an outside balcony at the front of the villa and access to another smaller balcony at the rear. Headroom in the third bedroom is restricted, but has access to an amazing rooftop terrace which provides a perfect spot to relax and watch the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. This bedroom is also air conditioned and has an en-suite. All bedrooms have ample storage space, with mirrored fitted wardrobes and drawers. Getting into town is an easy 10-15 minute downhill walk, where you will experience everything Kalkan has to offer from boutique shops, fabulous café bars and amazing restaurants to suit all budgets. Kalkan has a stylish marina and a small beach where the water is clear and calm with a safe buoyed off swimming area. Taxis are numerous, reasonable, reliable and punctual, also handy if you are planning any trips further afield, as they will pick and drop off at the villa as and when requested.

Lovely villa with amazing views. Walking distance to Kalkan, suggest taxi on way back as very steep climbs specially if carrying shopping. Villa was well appointed with everything you need for self catering. Plenty of outdoor spaces with comfortable seating, great pool and amazing views of Kalkan and the Mediterranean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Kalkan and Villa Ansah. The villa is set above the main road and is extremely peaceful and quiet. The views over the bay are stunning, both during the day and at night. The sound of the Adhan (calling to prayer) from the nearby mosque happens at various times of the day and is a beautiful and captivating sound. The outside areas of the villa are spacious, with a large, shaded table for eating, a covered area for evening drinks, and a poolside space for lounging under the sun shades. The pool is deep and refreshing. It becomes shaded in the afternoon, which in the middle of August is welcomed. Ramazan the property manager is next door if you have a problem. He will sort it out for you. The owner of the villa, Andrew is also very much on hand from UK if you need to communicate with him.
This is the sixth time we have holidayed in Kalkan. The first time 20 years ago, the time before this holiday ten years. Although it has of course grown and altered over the years, it still retains its charm and versatility as a wonderful holiday destination. If you go to Kalkan beware, you will want to keep returning. I’m sure we’ll be back again one day to see how it’s getting on. Who knows, maybe I’ll be writing another review for Villa Ansah!

We had a lovely stay at Villa ANSAH. Views were great with a 10-15 minute walk to the town with an abundance of restaurants with amazing views.
The villa itself was nice - the 3rd bedroom was described as limited headroom, there were no curtains and a constant smell of drains. Our son didnt use the shower to try and avoid this.
Not quite sure the villa was 100% ready when we arrived and frustrating that we had been provided with snacks in the fridge - but not a single toilet roll - especially after a 2 hour journey! And a car parked across the drive most days making it hard to access the villa gates by foot.
All in all a fabulous - but a few small things that could be improved to make the villa better in our opinion

The villa was in good condition and the space was well designed. The outside space was generous and the views from all the floors was lovely. We would recommend this villa to others.

The villa was very nice overall, although we felt the bathrooms needed refurbishing. Ramazan and Fatima were very welcoming. We were disappointed with the location as there was building work going on continually when we were there from 6.30am to at least 6 in the evening, it was very noisy and dusty. The streets were left in a terrible state full of rubble and cement. Overall we found the neighbourhood to be dirty and strewn with rubbish everwhere! On venturing out in the car most of the outlying areas were again strewn with litter and rubbish, even tipping at the roadsides!. We had visited Kalkan 4 years ago and really loved it but this time we found it to have changed greatly and not for the better. Loud music nearly everywhere, restaurant staff pestering for business as you walked down the streets. There is a serious dog problem now in Kalkan particularly walking down from the villa into town, the dogs are roaming in packs and and barking and begging for food. This is a resort totally dedicated to the British traveller, seemingly no other nationality there at all. Unfortunately not our sort of place.

Villa Ansah lived up to everything we hoped it would be.
When we arrived it was spotlessly clean and a very thoughtful welcome pack of essentials with things such as milk, bread, butter, water etc. had been left in the kitchen.
The Villa is very well equipped with great outside areas to relax. We loved sitting on them all at various points during the day/evening. Watching the sun go down from the top terrace with a drink in hand was stunning.
We’ve never stayed above the D400 road before, which was one of our concerns. We needn’t have worried, a very handy taxi number had been left and Hasan never let us down in picking us up during our 3 week stay. It made no difference staying this side of the road. Even with driving ourselves around and about it’s all within easy driving or walking distance.
On recommendation we tried Taraca Restaurant literally just up the road from the Villa. Beautiful outside bar and restaurant with amazing terraces and views. If you go, make sure you get there to watch the sunset. It made a nice change not to eat in town and both the food and service were great.
If you’re thinking of booking Villa Ansah then go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you to Andrew and family for making everything so easy.

We loved our recent stay at Villa ANSAH, everything we needed was provided, comfortable and clean. The villa is spacious with magnificent outside areas. We particularly enjoyed the outside couch seating, both on the ground floor and the roof terrace. Thanks very much family Houston. Gill & Nigel

The stunning Villa Ansah is set on the hillside of the beautiful resort of Kalkan, the villa is just above the D400 which some people prefer not to be due to the very steep hills, however it didn't affect our enjoyment in fact due to its location we found it extremely peaceful and you had the choice of the 10 to15 minutes walking town or use one of the many yellow taxis that are always available, 50 turkish lira each way, we usually got taxi home every night after eating in one of the 250 restaurants available, never had a bad meal in the 2 weeks we spent in Kalkan, there were a few favourites that we returned to and met some super people. The villa itself is spotless, very well equipped and has everything you need to make you feel at home, there are various supermarkets around Kakan which vary in what the provide and what they charge, best to shop around and buy turkish products if possible as imported brands tend to be expensive there is also a fantastic 24/7 bakery (Firin) with a great fruit shop/butcher above it which has everything you need for the perfect BBQ. Ramazan the property manager and his family are next door and the pool area is cleaned every morning around 6.30 so to interruptions to your day, pool is perfect and remains cool throughout the very hot days, although not suitable for young children as its at least 6 feet deep at shallow end. Ramazan can also arrange your airport transfers but again shop around and if you choose to use his choice ensure you get him to confirm times etc as we had a slight hiccup on our departure day. He will also try and sell you boat trips and offer to cook a BBQ for you, again shop around before making your choice.
The old town harbour and surrounding area is so beautiful and I could write loads about it but I suggest you do what we did and spend your nights exploring all the, shop, pub and restaurants.
We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Villa Ansah.

Relaxing stay at Villa Ansah
We had a brilliant week staying at Villa Ansah. The views from the villa are stunning, property is a great size for 6 people and the pool area and terraces are lovely. The villa is extremely well equipped so it’s a home from home. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

Einfach Perfekt

Fantastic stay in Kalkan
We have just returned from a lovely holiday at Villa Ansah. We had visited Kalkan before and found it to be as beautiful as ever. The villa is a great location with lovely views; we walked into town, which is downhill and would usually get a taxi back which costs very little.
The villa was clean, comfortable and spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The pool area is gorgeous and we spent lots of days relaxing around the villa, as well as some days out to the beach, a boat trip and a local beach club.
Kalkan and villa Ansah offer the abi3to have a full relaxation in a beautiful setting, or plenty of things to do and see if you want to get out and about.
Andrew was very responsive and helpful during the booking process, which was particularly important at the moment for peace of mind during the ongoing Covid 19 situation. The property manager, Ramazan, was also lovely and on hand if anything was needed.
We would not hesitate to recommend!
Thanks again, Kate

Beautiful villa
We had a fantastic holiday in Villa ANSAH. The villa is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need.
We were quite nervous about booking in advance given the COVID situation but Andrew’s communication was great and reassuring.
The villa is a 15 minute stroll downhill into town (above the D400), or you can WhatsApp one of the numbers handily found on the fridge, if you send them your location they can easily find you.
Highly recommend a stay here at Villa ANSAH.

Fab villa and location, highly recommend
We were a family of 4 and Villa Ansah suited all of our requirements. Great location with far reaching views over the bay especially from the top balcony. Excellent swimming pool which stayed very cool and refreshing as it is deep at both ends. This may be an issue for younger families but suited us well. Communications were excellent the whole way through and Andrew couldn’t have been more accommodating and reassuring especially with uncertainty of travel due to Covid 19. The villa is well equipped with everything to make self catering easy but we honestly only made light snacks as it was so easy and cheap to eat out. Would definitely recommend downloading villa eats app as this allowed us to order takeaway and grocery deliveries to the villa which was fab if you wanted a lazy evening. All in all a fab holiday was had by us all and would definitely recommend Villa Ansah, thanks Andrew and Nicola 😎

We we’re absolutely delighted with the villa. The booking process with Andrew was painless and he responded immediately to any pre holiday questions. The villa is spotless and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was equipped to cater for all our needs and the beds extremely comfortable. We visited in August and the villa kept you cool with the AC, albeit we only tended to need it for sleeping. Views from the balconies were amazing and as others have found, the top balcony for a pre dinner drink a real highlight. The outside areas Include a very comfortable shaded seating spot and the pool itself was spotlessly clean (Ramazan had cleaned the pool every morning before we were even up) and as blue and inviting as the pictures suggest. We would not hesitate to return. Near by we found a gem of a coffee house in Keske bar and cafe where the owners English wife makes a selection of cakes to die for, and even baked gluten free cakes for our coeliac daughter. Restaurant choice is plentiful and we would recommend The Small House ( book early for balcony seat), Belgin restaurant, Alternative restaurant and for something different and you won’t go wrong with Fotos pizza. Whilst this time we did not go on any day trips we did very much enjoy the Palm Beach club and also a visit via taxi to Kas (30 mins drive and £33 return). Overall a wonderful holiday and with a favourable exchange rate eating out was incredibly good value too.

Wonderful stay!
With all the uncertainty of travel leading up to our holiday we were in regular contact with Andrew who owns the villa and he couldn't have been more accommodating, even allowing us the option of a full refund up till date of travel if our flights didn't go ahead. Thankfully they did! We arrived quite late in the evening and were met by Ramazan who manages the property. He was very helpful and always on hand to offer support with minor snags or queries, his daughter even baked us a cake which was delicious! The villa was spotless, the outside space and pool were fabulous (very deep at both ends, great for our family but may be worth noting for very young children or non-swimmers) and location was great. It was just a 15 minute downhill stroll to the town, which did mean an uphill walk back but taxis were plentiful from the town for the few evenings when we had eaten too much to face walking back! We had a fantastic stay at villa Ansah and would highly recommend.

The property was nice overall and comparable to other villas we have stayed at. We were surprised at how deep the swimming pool was. At its shallowest point it is circa 5ft 11 ins deep and the deep end is just over 6ft. So if you have young children you need to bear that in mind. We arrived in the early ours of the morning and Ramazan (property manager) was there to meet us. The key initial essentials that are provided as part of your stay were a nice touch. Mean't we wouldcould get up and not worry about our first breakfast. Other villas we've stayed at have always charged extra for this.Ramazan the property manager was generally attentive although be aware any tours he offers to arrange are not competitive. His quoted prices were 30%+ more than you can get in town. One other thing to be aware of is the holiday season in Kalkan ends on the 31st Oct. On the 1st Nov building work immediately starts on any incomplete properties. There were two villas being constructed across the road. So from the 1st Nov we were greated by loud noises and dust. The builders started aound 8am and went onto about 6pm even on a Sunday. The views from the villa are absolutely lovely.

fantastic villa
Four of us spent 10 days here at the beginning of July and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The villa is located on the hillside around a 10-15 minute stroll into the old town although there are some bars/cafes just over the footbridge.
The villa itself is very clean(Ramazan cleans the pool area daily) and well furnished, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, plates and glasses.
Overall I would mark the villa 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it.Also Andrew and Nicola were very helpful and prompt when replying to my emails which was great.

Villa ansah
I would recommend it for a family of four adults and two children but not 6 adults as the top bedroom has very low ceilings ideal for children not adults other wise lovely villa very modern spotlessly clean and everything at your finger tips,Owners Andrew & Nicola could not be more accommodating sorting out our transfers, Ramazan property manager would go to great lengths to accommodate us , would recommend staying here .

Exceptional villa outstanding in every way
Villa Ansah is everything we hoped for and more. It is absolutely spotless, tastefully decorated, with everything you need at your fingertips.
This is definitely a 5 * accommodation with very high quality level of finish . The outside area is fabulous, with a spacious terrace with both an eating area and a large covered area for relaxing. The outside area is immaculate, cleaned early every morning before we got up ready for us.
The owners and property managers couldn't do enough for us. The villa was cleaned regularly throughout our stay with fresh towels whenever we wanted them.
The view from the villa of Kalkan bay is stunning and Kalkan is in very easy walking distance of the town. We hired a car , which was only £20 a day , arranged with the property manager . The car was delivered to and collected from the villa.
I would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!
From the offset dealing with Nicola and Andrew the owners who couldn't have been more accommodating from start to finish was an absolute pleasure.
We were traveling as a family with a couple of friends all varying in ages, when we arrived at 1am we were all blown away by how magical the villa looked all lit up and the pool glistening. The interior didn't disappoint either - perfect!
The villa had everything we needed and more, for the first couple of days we didn't venture out until the evening as we were happy relaxing around the pool (apart from a trip to the supermarket for provisions which was easy to find with Nicola's directions).
This was our first time to Kalkan and it clearly has retained a traditional fishing village feel to it. With some great recommendations we did not have one bad meal at any of the restaurants we ate in the food was fab. We visited a couple of the beach clubs which have a great vibe about them & a highlight for my daughters boyfriend was seeing some turtles swimming near to us in the sea. A must for your stay in Kalkan is an all day boat trip again recommended to us this was definitely a wonderful way to spend a day and the food was amazing.
But for me the one thing I couldn't wait to get back to was the top terrace of the villa in the evening with the most magnificent view - perfect! We cannot wait to return.

Superb villa with great views and location
This superb villa offers spacious accommodation and spectacular views in a great location. Recently refurbished it is well equipped and has a modern feel whilst maintaining its Turkish charm .
We have stayed here twice now. The first time without children ,we fell in love with both Kalkan and the villa , so returned the following year with our two teenagers .
The accommodation allows everyone to have their own space, whilst also offering great communal areas outside and in . The pool has plenty of sun beds and also a lovely barbecue and seating area , perfect for Pre dinner drinks, watching the sun go down or spending the whole evening wining and dining. We also loved the roof terrace , offering a secluded , quiet area to marvel at the beautiful views .
The villa is a 15 minute downhill walk into town , but would recommend taxis back , particularly as they were so reasonable and easy to order . The restaurants in the town are amazing, fine dining every evening, at such good prices but with so many on roof tops we had the added luxury of stunning views . We spent our days either relaxing round the pool, as the location is so peaceful, or took a boat taxis to one of the many beach clubs . Each one has its own charm and variety of facilities , but all provided a great day out. During both visits we took a boat out for the day , enjoying snorkelling and the sea breeze . We also had good fun and a good soaking on the jeep safari !
The villa’s friendly and helpful hosts provide all the information we needed both before and during our trip and knowing that Ramanzan, who maintained the property and pool, was nearby, was a great comfort. Two wonderful holidays spent in a such a lovely villa and idyllic location .
