The apartment, which is located at the center of the town, is renovated on Jan. 2019 and can host up to 4 guests. ~UPDATE~ Guests suggest me to do something with the noise and I'm always pay attention to every single comment you made. So we CHANGE all the windows frames and we put NEW double glazed windows in all over the apartment! This place is totally soundproof! Thissio is a central area in the heart of Athens. You can be in a couple of minutes under the Acropolis Hill and walk all the traditional Athens by foot. On the living room you will find a relax sofa and a smart flat TV with Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need (Nespresso/oven/microwave/dishwasher). You will enjoy having your complimentary coffee during your stay. The apartment is fully air conditioned while there is also a boiler to provide you with hot water for 24/7. Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality brand. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you. Entire property has free Wi-Fi! Thissio is the closest Metro station Smoking is only allowed on the balcony Common quiet hours 11:00 p.m. – 07:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. For late check in after 00:00 there is a small fee Transfer service and private tours are available upon request How can i help you to get the most out of your stay? Good communication with owner and big enough for the 3 of us. There were also nice coffee shops near by. The shower was interesting because you had to have the water heater on 30 mins before and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The bathroom is also pretty small so may not be accessible to some.

It is very clean and very comfortable apartment. Communication with apartment management was extremely pleasant. We had prompt response to all our questions and immediate help with all our requests. The apartment is located in residential neighborhood, so it is very easy to get some food or eat out in local eateries. The closest metro station is in approximately 12 min of walking distance. In general, we were enjoying our stay there and I would recommend this place.

First, let me say that the management, Meno Properties, were excellent. They were highly communicative, and solved issues quickly. And the location of the apartment was excellent, equidistant from two handy metro stops. But the apartment is on a very busy street, making the deck virtually useless. Consequently, the deck has been taken over by pigeons, with the accompanying pigeon poop everywhere. Finally, the bathroom is so small it's claustrophobic. I'd stay in this area again, for sure, and would work with Meno Properties again, but just not in this apartment.

Wonderful apartment in a cute area. The owners were super accommodating, we arrived early and they allowed us to drop our bags off early so we could walk around without carrying them before check-in. Very communicative as well, we ended up using their transfer service to and from the airport and they were prompt in responding and assisting us with setting up a driver. All in all an awesome stay, and there was a delicious place with awesome Greek food a few blocks away called Kalligefston that we ate at every day! Within walking distance to the acropolis (about a mile) so we didn’t have to Uber much. Highly recommend!

Everything was super easy dealing with George.
Relatively centrally located. 8 minute walk to the Metro, which will take you to the Parthenon etc. 👍👍👍

It's within decent walking distance of all the main sights to see around Athens. It's clean and serves its purpose. However, there are very few cooking utensils, no oven mitts or hot pads I could find, and only 1 bowl, so it's not stocked to actually serve as an apartment, as-is. But it's great if you want the freedom of an apartment and plan to eat out during your stay.

The apartment was very comfortable and the location was fantastic! We did not need a vehicle to get to all of the must see places in the heart of Athens. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We will definitely recommend this stay to all of our family and friends who are eager to visit.

George was great to work with! Very responsive. Check-in was easy and quick. Location was at the foot of the Acropolis, an easy walk to and from for sightseeing. Several restaurants nearby, and two grocery marts around the corner. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay. When we return to Athens we will definitely stay here again!!

Awesome location walking distance to EVERYTHING!
We enjoyed the location where you are walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. Your in the heart of Athens and night life. We loved the grocery store and cafe across the street. We were able to walk to the Ancient Agora and Acropolis in under 10-15min.
We highly recommend buying a 3 day metro pass and combo ticket pass for attractions. We also took advantage of the metro. We were a 15 min walk to Thisseio station.
The apartment had a great AC which made us feel cool during the hot days, VERY safe, on the 2nd story. Was equipped with towels, and basic toiletries. Very very clean and americanized restroom area.
Would stay again for future Athens trip. We also took the metro from the airport to the nearby station to get to the apartment.

Carry a flashlight to open the entry door. Can't sit straight on toilet because limited knee room. Hot water in the shower has to be prepared 30 minutes before taking a shower. Shower curtain is very nasty. Noisy corner and construction noise on the block. No crosswalk for the busy street. Not enough toilet paper for our stay. No ice cube trays, no paring knife. We had to ask for light bulbs for the main living room lights, one had one bulb, the other had none. Lots of hangers, good washer, beds were hard and short, good coffee shop across the street.

Very clean property. Good location to metro and food. Attractions were not long distance and communication with property management was excellent. They assisted in any way they could. Tours and drivers were excellent as well. Affordable and reasonable.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. Safe locked bldg. The location was five minutes from the Acropolis walking. Close to grocery, restaurants and shopping! The property manager was very responsive in regards to communication! He arranged transport from port and to airport fir 4 adults and lots of luggage at very reasonable cost.

Enjoyed our stay at George's property. It was centrally located with easy access to supermarkets / restaurants and walkable to all the key tourist locations. Check in process was very smooth and the host was always quick to respond to any questions.
Definitely recommend the property and would stay there again when we visit Athens in the future

We found a great little family owned restaurant within walking distance that we visited twice during our brief stay! And the grocery store just down the street was handy as well.

Nice place to stay in the middle of Athens. Just about a 15 min walk from Acropolis and Angora.
Neighborhood is pretty quiet and easy street access. Many restaurants around to eat.

We were greeted at the VRBO site in the wee hours and led upstairs, but there was a problem with the key, and the door would not unlock. Having just come from an hours-long, overpacked ferry ride through the night, we were even less happy than we would normally have been about sitting in the stairwell for more than an hour while various fixes were attempted. Our host did not give up on us, nor we on him. Eventually he loaded us into his own car and drove us to another available apartment in a better area of Athens, where we were able to get some sleep at last and then walk to the Acropolis, our main objective for our stopover.
Without the check-in SNAFU, we would certainly have been able to get to bed sooner and would then have had more time the next day to tour more sites, but these things happen. Our substitute lodgings normally rented for a higher rate than the ones we had booked, but our host made no attempt to charge us extra.
Be aware that weather conditions can delay or cancel ferries, and that THINGS CAN GO WRONG, but that, for heaven’s sakes, you’re actually in Greece(!), and make the best of the hand you’re dealt.

Beautiful apartment in a Athens
This apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and it was within walking distance to the Acropolis. The host was super helpful and air conditioning was key for those hot Athen days!

Really enjoyed the stay here.
We wanted to stay in a real neighborhood in central Athens and this property and location did not disappoint. Clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed nearby and very close to the major sites and the Metro Station at Keramikos. George was extremely helpful in settling in with the details of the apartment, wifi, water, etc. Our flight was delayed. George was patient and met us there as he said he would. Communication was great! Thank you. I hope to be back soon.

Athens in June
We were very pleased with the location of this property. We were in walking distance of the Acropolis, the museum, and several other historical sites. We went to the super market located across the street for any needed items such as additional toilet paper, as well as coffee, and walked around the corner to a nice little pastry shop for our morning delights. The apartment is a great space and had plenty of room for the four of us. We would opt to stay here again if we are so lucky to return to Athens. The hosts were very accessible and after a long flight we arrived early and were able to settle in earlier than expected which was a real bonus for the four of us. I most definitely would recommend this location as a great place to stay where you are close enough to many things but far enough away for your own comfort and rest. One night the street was a bit loud as customers of the lounge across the street got going around 10 but it didn’t last for more than a few hours and we were able sleep regardless. All in all I would say this is a great option when exploring Athens for a few days and we are looking forward to our return. Thank you George for your kindness, hospitality and assistance in making our stay a positive memorable experience.

Less than expected - additional charges
Communication was good up until the manager found told us he would have the property clean at 3 pm. I had been up for over 24 hours traveling so very, very dissappointed to find the apt. untouched after 3. Then the communications became poor and full of "I don't knows", "I will call you back" etc. None of that happened. finally, after 4:30 a crew of 3 showed up and cleaned in about 30 minutes. HOWEVER, No microwave as stated, no coffee as stated, no supplies or much in the way of kitchen tools simply for drinks and coffees were there. There is a water problem on the balcony so you have to track water inside the apt. If I were the owner of the property I would be unhappy with the way it is cared for and the occupants whom had previously been in the unit (they left a mess including food sitting in pans on the stove and in sink). Still checking but it looks like they also ran and deposit on site after already charging me for the entire rental on VRBO. Still checking into it.

This is a fantastic pied a terre in Athens, easily walkable to groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, the Acropolis and more. George and his team were wonderful—and SO flexible/helpful with late check-in and taxis when our ferry was delayed! We will definitely be coming back.

In a big city, this was a cozy and clean spot. We got some exercise getting to and from the sites, but it really isn't far from a lot of activities.
He was very accomodating.

Great neighborhood, good communication
I recommend this flat. It's large for the price, and the neighborhood is excellent. George is also a very good communicator, which saved us a lot of stress. (The only difficult part of check-in was that we weren't provided an apt. number to buzz when we arrived, so had to find wifi at a nearby cafe in order to tell George we'd arrived.) The apartment is as-advertised. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the kitchen is missing some essential tools. The cleaning was also not done super well beforehand, especially on the balcony. These things made the place feel more like a hotel than a home.
