This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath vacation rental offers a picturesque getaway where you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise and barbecues on the main deck, evenings drinking on the upper deck of the dock, or spending time relaxing, reading, and playing games. There is also a private balcony overlooking the lake. This property was outstanding. It was in close proximity to most everywhere you’d want to go in Granbury (The Square, Brookshire’s, etc.) and Glen Rose. While we spent most of our time out and about, the home has plenty of amenities to keep you occupied. Many board games, books, puzzles, and the outdoor patio and decks (yes, plural) were great to sit back and relax on.
There was plenty of room for our party (6 adults and 1 teen). Bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Our teen slept in the living room very comfortably The living area is also a good size and we enjoyed watching TV or listening to music on the TV while playing some board games in the dining area.
We will definitely be looking at this home when booking in Granbury in the future. Highly recommend.

The house was great located right on the lake. The kids loved being able to fish directly from the dock in the mornings and afternoons. The house was very clean and spacious. We only wish we had more time there.
The owner had several board games to enjoy with the family. The house is a short drive to the square. We will definitely be back.

The property was as expected. Everything that we needed was there. We stayed almost a full week and enjoyed a big part of it just sitting on the patio.

House was great. The main back deck is awesome. The 2 rooms upstairs are comfy and clean. The master is huge. Great gathering place for a family event. The cost is great for what you get.
The management company and owners are easy to talk with and look forward to our next visit.

Easy access nice home

Our first time to Lake Granbury and we feel in love with this small town. We had good food and drinks.
This home was perfect!The morning view is incredible.
We will be back and will rent this home again.

The house was beautiful - so enjoyed waking up and going to bed with the view of the lake from the deck or the kitchen!
The parking was a little difficult and maybe a few more wash rags needed. Other than that - perfect!

The property was nice and very roomy and the master was downstairs if traveling with older people. Only issue was MOSQUITOS!! There was a can of perimeter bug spray on outdoor coffee table but there were mosquitos everywhere so we didn't get to enjoy sitting outside. Just getting in vehicles we all were bitten a lot. Would suggest owner invest in professional spray service or do away with the groundcover/underbrush since sprinkler system waters everyday and it stays wet in the shade.

Spacious house with master bed/bath downstairs for older/disabled individuals. Dishwasher had gone out before we arrived but we at out during our stay so only had daily coffee cups and utensils to handwash. Property is close to restaurants, grocery store, and historic Granbury Square. Long narrow driveway was difficult to back a boat trailer down, but we used spotters so no catastrophes except mosquito bites. Canal is narrow and has stumps when entering from main lake; lake also has shallow area and more stumps. Be sure to check restaurant hours and many were closed on Monday/Tuesday that were on lake and in Square. Property sits amid trees and vegetation with sprinklers on daily which brought a lot of mosquitoes, also a lot of bugs at property dock area-we didn't sit outside on decks because of them. Overall nice property that is close to many attractions and a good value...just plan ahead for items listed above.

We needed a couple of days after a busy weekend to relax and spend time together as a family. The lake house views are calming and we all enjoyed the spacious open layout of this home. My only complaint is that the kitchen was stocked with inadequate cooking utensils(old cheap pots/pans of peeling teflon). Aside from that minor issue, we highly recommend this vacation rental.

The location worked well for us. It is a short drive into the town. The large window in the kitchen looking out onto the lake is very nice. It was my favorite part of the house. Like many mentioned, the house wasn't dirty but wasn't clean either. The deck closest to the house would have been used more but the furniture was very dirty. We would just stand outside on the deck mostly. The master bedroom has a nice walk-in shower. The bed was too high for my mom, so she ended up sleeping on the lounge chair. So, I would not plan on an older person being able to sleep in that bed. The rooms upstairs were as advertised. I liked the fact that all the rooms had a place to hang your clothes and put them in drawers. The host was responsive, but the management company took a long time to respond. Overall, we had a nice stay and a great time in Granbury.

The house was so accommodating for my 70 year old parents and small children. Extra play spaces made it easier to spread out. Wish we had more time to explore the town. Hoping to come back next summer.

This was a great location. We were close to shopping, the Square and beach within 10 minutes. We are boaters and the location got us to our favorite ski spots within minutes!

Plenty to do. Lots of games in garage. Good fishing. Centrally located near all restaurants and downtown. Water access not the best but definitely doable. Getting down to the water is not designed for the elderly nor toddlers.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and the home is wonderful. Great kitchen with everything you could need. There is a nice fenced backyard for your pups. So many books, games and puzzles. And just a few miles to the little beach area. It was the perfect summer getaway.

Great for a long weekend
Nice place everything was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the kitchen is awesome. We enjoyed having ping pong tournaments every night in the garage. There was plenty of parking at the end of the driveway for trucks and boat trailers. We are a bunch of water rats and if I had to complain about something it would be the boat dock had the owners boat parked in it. It looked like it had not been used in quite some time, we brought with us 2 Jetskis a bass boat and a wakeboard boat so that made it a little tough to park all the toys around the dock it would have been nice to have that space available.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and the home is wonderful. Great kitchen with everything you could need. There is a nice fenced backyard for your pups. So many books, games and puzzles. And just a few miles to the little beach area. It was the perfect summer getaway.

Hall-a Girls Weekend!
As soon as We walked in there were "oooohh's and Aweees" over the openness and how fresh, airy, comfortable the home was for us. We love the view from the living room and kitchen most of all looking out over the water. We were there the weekend it was damp so not much sitting out on the patio which made the windows that much more important. The bedrooms were good for us as we slept two to a room and one on the couch (7 of a one point during the weekend). Great to have the 2.5 bathrooms. We didn't cook much as we do that at home all the time so we did more of the go pick up and eat there. We did play a lot of games and used the large dining table for that so tons of laughter. So happy there was a regular coffee pot as well as the Keurig. Good amenities for what we needed.
Now a couple cons: Upstairs shower does not drain well - super slow. We noticed the house really needs a super good cleaning - don't get me wrong IT IS Clean but some of us are picky and noticed crumbs on counter as if they never moved things to clean. Refrigerator had others condiments in it (really don't think thats good this time). Dropped something on the floor and definitely hasn't had a good clean under furniture but who cares right except we are in a pandemic.
Overall very great house just needs a really deep clean.

Good but not great
The house was not as clean as I would have hoped. Outdoor furniture on the patio off the living room was filthy -- the table especially, sticky surface and you could tell it had not been cleaned in a while. A few dead bugs in the window sills. Absolutely NO dish towels in the kitchen (not 1) nor any dish cloths. Never been to a VRBO property where that was the case.
Above the door handles on the doors was absolutely filthy...I cleaned those once we arrived, as well as the window sills and patio table. One more thing, the outdoor deck had a lot of dog hair clustered in the corners. I think maybe they need a new cleaning company.😩�
