Welcome to "the Honeybee." A Cozy Private Home just 8 miles north of downtown Atlanta in Marietta, GA. 5 interstate miles from SUNTRUST PARK Stadium! (8-10 min!) Close to both KSU Campuses, Life University, Marietta Square, & direct route to airport. Professionally designed with full kitchen & table/bar seating for 9-10, 2 full baths, Laundry washer, dryer, tankless water, living room, office, screen porch, firepit, carport & driveway parking. Everything you need for family or business travel! More information The space This 1950's home was originally built as military housing. The quiet neighborhood is well-maintained & still has the charm of an older home. It is remarkably cozy & equipped for Business Travel, Couples, Families & Friends. Quaint space, but plenty of room to spread out with 3 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, Full kitchen & Living room, and outside gathering space in the screened patio. Couples & Singles, this place is just the right size for you, even though it can sleep more. 4 people can also sleep very easily. The home can accommodate up to 6. Please message if you have more guests beyond that as we do have an air mattress and couch, if needed. 2 miles from Marietta Square. Minutes from Roswell, GA. 5 miles from SunTrust park. 2 miles from Six Flags White Water. close to both Kennesaw State University Campuses and Life University. 1/2 mile from i75. 8 miles from Atlanta. Very close Lyft/Uber to the Airport. 2 miles from our famous "Big Chicken" landmark! Guest access Front and Back door Access via Smart Lock code provided 1-2 hours before the check-in time. Private home will be all yours for your stay. No shared Spaces. 2 comfortable bedrooms with Queen Size Beds Middle Office with daybed to sleep 2 more. Full Kitchen, screen porch & laundry room. Driveway and Carport Parking. Interaction with guests Property owner is available anytime by text. Message if there is anything you need! We will not be on site but can stop by if you need anything at all! Other things to note Trash can be placed in cans & placed by the road Tues & Wed evening, for Mon and Thur morning pickup. Recycled items can be placed in the can Mon evening, for Tues am pickup. The neighborhood is relatively quiet & we wish to respect the neighbors by not having loud gatherings that would impact them. Outside noise needs to be at a minimum by 10pm.

A colleague chose the home for its 5 star rating and we were excited to stay there. We thought the home had 3 separate bedrooms but the master bedroom and the office are interconnected by a sliding barn door. Something to be mindful of for others who aren’t staying with family.
The home wasn’t stocked as we expected. There was little hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Melissa, the owner, was very responsive to our messages but getting things rectified took more time. We were offered these items after we had gotten them for ourselves for a week long stay.
As stated by previous guests who recommended a different cleaning service, we would be in agreement with that sentiment. There were several spiderwebs hanging around the home and the window sills had not been attended to. You will have to learn how to flush the main toilet so it doesn’t continue to run.
It should be stated that you will not receive check in information until the day of arrival, potentially a few hours before your arrival. The washer and dryer were great, kitchen was adequate except for aging pots that need replacing (rectified while there). Most everything you need to cook with was provided and former guests have left condiments, cooking spray and spices behind for use.
Overall, our stay was ok. Being there for a week it was disappointing that our concerns took time to be resolved and to feel like those concerns were asking for too much (extra toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels).

We very much enjoyed our stay celebrating my first granddaughter’s first birthday! Honeybee was only 10 minutes from their neighborhood. The house was spacious but so cozy. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Will definitely stay again. Can’t wait to see it in the Spring.

This is a very nice home. Comfortable furnishings and very clean. If you have issues with steps don’t stay here. Convenient location to lots of activities. My family really enjoyed staying here.

Adorable little home for a small family. Clean and comfortable. Air conditioning kept home cool even in super hot and humid Georgia summer weather. The screened-in outdoor sitting and dining area extends the home nicely, and is a nice place to play cards and talk at the end of the day. Laundry and dishwasher were both great. Everyone could shower in the morning and endless hot water with the tankless hot water system. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Televisions in the house were easy to use with channels and apps loaded. Close to plenty of attractions, but in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We will rent again when in the area.

The honey bee house was the perfect home away from home. It was clean and inviting. The screened porch in the evening and for morning coffe was enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Melissa was very accomodating and was transparent of any discrepancies. (Which was nothing that was a hinderance) We absolutely loved staying and will stay again soon.
The only thing i didnt like was the firmness of the beds. It was too firm for me but i slept well and my family slept great too.

She was very helpful and gave us helpful suggestions. There was a nearby park that we enjoyed. Her place was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the screened back patio. It was the perfect place to relax and have some great conversations. The back yard was beautiful and serene. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. She has done a great job of updating an older home but still making it feel cozy and comfy.

I had a little drive to get there but it was a very well-kept small house with all the essentials a traveler would require. Communication was great. I would highly recommend this property. I particularly enjoyed that back porch in the mornings while drinking coffee and watching the sun rise on the Magnolia trees in the neighborhood.

The house was in a great quiet location. It was cute and clean. If you are cooking you may need measuring cups and more serving spoons, but everything else was provided and perfect!

It was obvious a lot of care went into decorating the house and it was very well done. Everything was neat and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. This house definitely has a warm, comforting feel.

Baseball bungalow
We were there for a PG event for 5 nights. Great location since the fields are located in East Cobb and surrounding Marietta fields. The owner is fine to deal with. Would recommend for the proximity to fields.

Great house
This house was clean and as advertised. Great backyard and nice updates throughout. Communication with the property manager was very quick through the app. The only negatives were that the beds were slightly uncomfortable especially in the master bedroom where the mattress sagged badly, and the hall bathroom toilet needed to be fixed to stop constantly running. Otherwise I would recommend this house to anyone.

All the little extra decor items in this home show how much pride the owner has in her home. It was comfortable for our family of 5 and my 2 year old granddaughter loves the grassy back yard! Wonderful Stay
The honeybee was a cute, quaint home in a quiet neighborhood close to everything we needed. We were there for a wedding in Marietta and we were minutes from everything. The property was cute and had everything we needed. The property owner was very prompt and responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our trip. The only negative I had was that I would recommend hiring of a different cleaning company as the house was not to our cleaning standards. I am a bit of clean freak and overall the surfaces of everything was clean, but under the couches, couch cushions, hard to reach areas, and any areas around windows were really dusty and dirty. Like I said though, I am a clean freak, so those are things I notice.
